Comments:  I stayed at the hawaii apartments 6yrs ago before i had any children of my own and found that it was ok so returning this year with my 2 kids and partner i was really quite happy although the pools are still cold they have been retiled an so look a lot more attractive. The pool bar has also been changed and a seating area added.Plenty of sunloungers and lovley view. Maids call everyday even if room doesn't need cleaning they will give you new towels and take rubbish. The only thing i didnt look forward 2 was the hill !!! but it wasn't as bad as i rememberd even though it can be hard work with a push chair. The entertaiment in the bar is ok but drinks can be a bit expensive. If its your first time to majorca go see pirates is amazing i love it !!!!!!!

Comments:  We were on the lowest floor the appartments were appaling they were dirty, the wardrobes smelt of old musky wood, the cleaners only came in to change the beds, the floor was never swept and the coffee table and dining table never cleaned. The staff need lessons in friendliness .This is the worst apparments we have ever stayed at and would urge family's not to go .This hotel should be soley for the younger generation .I couldnt even give this hotel a 1 star

Comments:  We were very nicely surprised by the hotel appartments! After reading quite a few negative comments on this site it was worrying as we had already booked our holiday!

We are a couple in our early 30's with 2 girls aged 11 and 14 and these apparments were ideal!

ROOMS - The room was extremely clean and bright and a good size, sofa beds for the girls which they found comfy! Only problem was the room had 2 singles! The bathroom was a good size and shower lovely and powerful. toster, kettle, and 2 hobs. We ate out mostly and you couldn't really cook a meal (there was enough equipment though!)but it was handy for snacks!

SERVICE - Reception staff were friendly and always willing to help. The room was cleaned daily with towels and sheets if we wanted them. The cleaner were not intrusive and came back at a different time if ased.

ATMOSPHERE - A nice feel to the place, a good mixture of all ages, familes, late teens early twenties and the groups of lads and lasses all seemed to respect the quetier families everyone mixing well!

POOL AREA - lovely cool pool which the girls loved and a realy sun trap all through the day. I was shocked by how early and quickly the sun loungers went in the mornings. Some had towels place on and were only used for an hour each day but were rendered unusable which got on my nerves and first but seemed to be common place so if you can't beat em join em. Amazing views of Palma Nova from the back of the pool areas

BAR - only tried the drinks, expensive by night but happy 'hour' half price fom 19.00 to 21.45 was great and ideal before going out. Cocktails were extremely nice alcoholic and non for the children. Worked out about 9 Euros for a round for the 4 of us!

BEACHES - The closest is about a 2 minute walk down the hill and was a nice beach. Magaluf beach is about a 5 minute walk. Don't believe the heart attack hill lines it's nothing really if you're realitvely fit.

EATING OUT - If you like a cooked breakfast go down the hill, first left up the hill and on your right towards Magaluf is a place called the Canny Kitchen Cafe run ny a Geordy lady called Grace. Extremely friendly, lovely fry up and excellen value. Our first night we also found a traditional Spanish Restaurant up the hill from Pachas called Restaurant Fantasic Pizzeria the Sangria and Paela were the best we had all week.

THINGS TO DO - Pirates is a must seems a little expensive but the show was well worth it! If you get offered Quarter Deck tickets for 20 Euros each don't bother just go for the regular ones and get there early to get good seats. The food isn't great but you can make up your money on the free flowing sangria! We also visited the Western Water park which was a great mix of shows and exciting parks. The Glass bottom boat trip is good value, we loved swimming off the back of the boat when it stopped half way around. If your a boat lover go to Palma Marina to see some super yachts!

Overall and excellent Appart Hotel, great room, ace location which is central to everything you need!

Comments:  My husband, myself and two boys aged 11 and 7 years stayed here in July 2008 for 13 nights. We were very happy with our accommodation. There were two pools with lovely views over the bay of Palma Nova. There was a children's club, soft play area and small park for smaller children. Bar food was nice and the children loved the Panda Meals which cost 4.45 euro and included drink and sweetie lolly. There was a happy hour in the evening with drinks half price which was great. There was a show on every night but this was hit and miss.

Our room was a one bedroom apt which had fantastic views over the pool and the bay. There was also air conditioning in both rooms. the only downside of the apt was the smell coming from the bathroom during the end of our stay which I think was due to a cracked leaky toilet.

maid service five times a week and they left clean fluffy towels everytime they cleaned the apt.

Steepish hill upto apts but we came home with toned calf muscles and probably a few pounds lighter.

Our bedroom was backing onto aroad which was quite noisy when the bars emptied and in the morning with bin lorries and delivery lorries but this cannot be helped.

all in all a great holiday and the boys loved it and made friends and we will definitely be back again.

Comments:  These aparments although they cater for children, are spoilt by the rowdy groups of lads and lasses. The noise at night is a disgrace. We complained to reception and were told people are evicted on a weekly basis. This tells you how bad this place is.
The apartments are spacious although I was not given the sea view I paid for and was told they were fully booked, the tour operator charge for sea view and the apartments cannot not guarantee this. I am taking this up with Travel Republic as the "sea view" I received was tree trunks".
We were often woken at 5am with drunken inconsiderate people shouting, music playing and banging on doors. The pool area can often be rowdy but most of the time it was fine for children.
The location is ideal if you want to be close to Magalluf but I had been of the opinion that Torornova was 15 minute away from Magalluf - more like 15 seconds!
We ventured up to the strip one night to go to Burger King at 11.30pm and were greeted with many drunks staggering along and even collapsing on the road side - I do not subject my children to a night out in Newcastle on Friday night and therefore did not return to the strip after 9.30pm.
Palma Nova is lovely although we did not find alot of entermainment for them. The best place we did find which catered for us all was Ruby Tuesdays. The enterainment on an night was excellent - bingo at 9.30 (although we didn't go to play), singing act at 10.30 and karaoke until 1am. The children also have pooll tables, air hockey, rides etc and you can keep an eye on them. More places like this is needed I think in an area that is advertised as family friendly.
I would probably return to Majorca but to a different resort. We prefer tribute bands, karaoke and family friendly places and unfortunately the location and Hawaii apartments do not have this.

Comments:  I would not recommend these apartment to families with children. Staff not friendly or helpful at all. Didnt like Scottish people at all. The noise at night was bad. Groups getting thrown out of apartments only after several guest complained. Guess you get what you pay for.

Comments:  After all I'd read about the hotel beforehand I was a bit disappointed... We got there after delays to be told that our room didn't have any water or electric and that we were being put up in another hotel, hotel Barracuda in Magalluf, for the night. Wasn't really happy about it because I just wanted to get in the room, but they had us go all inclusive for the night in Barracuda. It was so far away but they paid the taxi too. That hotel was another story... its fine if you wanted a rowdy stag or hen do... we had booked a one bedroom apartment, but got a very small room where me, my boyfriend and my mother had to sleep in the same! Maybe what others are into but not me! Anyway the next day our room was finally ready. After being promised these beautiful sea views we were disappointed to find our view overlooked the back of Hawaii hotel and a shed... underneath it every morning the cleaners would yak loudly for an hour before going to work. The apartments were spacious and clean, and the bathroom was lovely. Our bedroom window didn't lock though and it was a worry because it was very easy for someone to jump onto the balcony and get in the room. The hill it is on is very tiring after a long day walking, it's quite a distance to get back to. The terrace was lovely, and you couldn't ask for a better view from there. It was a lovely quiet relaxing holiday, but it was spoilt on our last day when we got surrounded by noisy inconsiderate selfish chavs, who spat from their balconies and threw bottles, the spit was landing on our balcony. I doubt they lasted long in the hotel... At night there were security guards, so there was someone on reception 24 hours. I don't know if I would go back there, I thought they were nice spacious apartments at a location with lovely views (apart from our apartment) and they were close to many shops, bars and restaurants. But just the first and last day was very offputting.

Comments:  Was a fab hotel for a group of 6. The pool was ideal and the positioning of the apartments is ideal. The beach is literally 2 minutes around the corner, and the main strip 5 minutes!

The entertainment there is ideal for kids, however magaluf i personally wouldnt take a family but it was a lovely place considering my expectations was low.

We were positioned in rooms 777 and 778 which looks out onto the square shape pool and the sea if ur looking for great positioned rooms in the appartments i recommend these!

Maid service was fine no problems there and the service of the staff was well received.

If your looking for a hotel that is in and ideal spot then this one i recommend.

The reason ive given it 9 out of 10 is because the prices of the pool bar are a bit high, but go to any cafe or restaurant outside of the complex and you'll easily find something cheaper.

Comments:  We arrived at 10am and were told that our room would not be ready until 3pm which was awful as we had to walk around in the hot weather in our clothes!

To get to our apartment we had to walk round the pool and up and down several flights of stairs with our cases. The rooms were spacios enough but were not the cleanest although they had a lovely view of the sea and coast. We wernt really bothered about the rooms anyway as we were never there because theres so much to do in the resort!!

There are loads of bars and restaurants about a five minute walk down the hill, the beach is also only round the corner although there is another beach about 10 mins away!

The weather wasnt great... we were there for a week at the end of May and only got 3 sunny days - the rest of the time it was cold or rainy and there were even 1 or 2 thunder storms at night!

We had a ball though as the clubs were brilliant especially BCM , Magaluf is great for young people although i would not recommend the accomodation for families as its very boring during the day - nothing going on at all!

Comments:  Food was only moderate and we were dissapointed to find that there were no snacks available between mealtimes on the all inclusive board. Also the rooms and corridors smelt of stale tobaco smoke, but otherwise were cleaned daily and of a decent standard. Don't think we will return to this accomodation in the future and probably won't go all inclusive again!

Comments:  We booked this holiday as a last minute thing and didn’t really know what to expect as there were quite a few reviews on these apartments and not all good.

We were surprised when we got there as the apartments were fine and the hill outside the apartments was nowhere near as bad as what we had read about, think it done us good to walk off the amount of food we eat throughout the evening.

But one thing to be aware of is the swimming pools! They were freezing! Think maybe you could of been mistaken that the bar used it to store they ice-cubes!!!

The beach was lovely which was really close by and we tended to use most days with plenty of sunbeds, but don’t know if this would be the case in high season.

There were plenty of shops and bars just down the hill, which were a little more expensive than we expected but think this may have been as it was the end of the season.

We would go back to these apartments and are thinking about booking again for a week’s stay next year, but maybe in august time as weather was warm but not hot when we went in October.

All in all great place to stay with nice staff throughout.

Comments:  We went for the school week - it cost £1200 for 2 adults and 2 children.

We first of all got put into a basement room - which had a really really damp smell, it was very dark and dreary. I went to reception and told them I was not staying in it. He gave me another key straight away - this was miles away from the first one - not good for elderly or people with young kids - the lift only goes to floor four and we were put on floor 5.

It was a nightmare getting out of the very tiny lift and walking up all the stairs with cases.

The 2nd room was better - better view but it still had that horrible damp smell - the maid service was very limited - twice I have to phone reception and they told me there was not maid service that day.

Very disappointing. We thought we were going to the hotel but the apts are separate and there was no activity whatsoever where we were.

All in all disappointed in the Hawaii Torrenova apts. Our friends booked for 10 days all inclusive at the same time as us and it cost them £1400!! Much better accommodation too.

Comments:  Went with my sister for a long weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. We only ever slept there because we were out and about all the time, however, looking at the entertainment board, there appeared to be something going on most nights.

The apartment was clean and spacious enough for two people and maid service was regular.

There was a nice pool and plenty of sunbeds available. The pool overlooked the sea, so it was a nice view.

The only down side to it was that the bar closed at 12pm (we came back one night and wanted a nightcap) and the bartender was a bit of a jobs worth and wouldn't allow you to take your drink outside onto the terrace.

Also, we spoke to someone who was All Inclusive and they were eating out due to the poor quality of food (but not sure if he was staying at the apartments or the Hotel).

Also, where the apartments are situated, wouldn't be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties due to them being on a hill - but then, all of Torrenova is built on a hill!

Overall, the apartment was definitely value for money and we will stay there again.

Comments:  What an absolutely amazing place. The hotel staff are fantastic and will do anything to help you out. There is a bit of a hill which is nothing too bad. The sea views are fantastic and absolutely gorgeous.

The Blue Bar does some amazing food and again has perfect views. Well worth visiting. Magaluf is a great too. Three Lions pub does 2 pints of Becks for 3 euros!

Only problem was the local Supermarkets don’t stock anything that could make up a meal, however there is one that does about 20 minutes away (walking).

An amazing place, brilliant hotel and I will definitely consider going there again.
