Bit shocked at the above comments as have just come back from this hotel and had a lovely time. Food was lovely. Head waiter George and his staff were very polite and courteous to us all everyday. Yes, to us adults the children’s entertainment might be repetitive but the kids enjoyed learning the dances. Towels and bed linen were changed every 2 days and general cleaning of floor etc was done daily.
Cleaning was to a high standard. Plastic cups do blow away, but bins are provided. lot of problems are caused by the holiday makers themselves. Do they leave a trail of destruction behind themselves at home...I think not, but just because they have paid for a holiday they think everything should be done for them. I wasn’t personally too happy with our customer service rep, as the trips we went on were not brilliant, but I told her how I felt. The entertainment is repeated weekly, but they did try to add extra bits in. They gave 100%.WELL DONE NIK, ZARA, MARTIN &LINZI!! What a team! Daily quizzes got people talking to one another and friendships were made.
Sun shines around the pool from 7am till 4pm.Go to the beach if you want to be roasted all day! Lastly, a honeymooning couple complained at everything at our hotel...why come to a family hotel? At the bar, she walked away complaining how thick and stupid the bar staff were....all I can say is, if she was behind a bar, and a Cypriot, (in his own accent)asked for something, would she know straightaway exactly what he wanted. Probably not. Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself!
We have had a lovely time, don’t let the above remarks put you off trying this hotel!

Very average hotel which should not be classed 3 star by Airtours.
Pool area is poor not enough sun beds, and where the hotel is situated it does not get the sunlight for the whole day. Food was ok but when lunch finished at 2.30pm the waiters are not happy if you turn up at 2.15.customer service at reception was poor and the reps only happy if you are buying trips off them.
Hotel entertainment is SHOCKING, every day is the same and is boring. Hotel is full of welsh, which funnily enough speak English 1 minute and welsh when they are talking about you.

Artemis apartments are very basic but comfortable - hygiene is a very big issue - overflowing bins, cig ends around the pool. Human excrement on the floor in a corridor! Rooms not cleaned regularly. Bed linen and mattresses stained badly. Towels changed once in ten days!!
Arguments over sunbeds - not enough!
Air tours entertainment useless, using bad language, sick jokes not suitable for kids! Local charges for kids club - when should be All Inclusive!!!
Reps......Terrible...Immature....Useless!
Boring, repetitive loud music over speakers from 10am-4.30pm by the pool.
Good choice of food! Get in early or taken away by the staff. Snacks......Hot dogs everyday! Drinks served in plastic cups which blow everywhere around and into the pool.
Hotel reception useless! Very rude and unhelpful!
Resort lovely! Beaches lovely! Lots to do!!
AVOID THE ARTEMIS!!!! AND AVOID AIRTOURS!!! WE PAID £2600!!!!TWO WEEKS ALL INCLUSIVE.

I think the other people who 'commented' on how rubbish the hotel was might have gone at a bad time. It was the first time i had been to Cyprus, went with my mum and dad. Thought it might be a bit rubbish, but it was one of the most enjoyable holidays i have had.
The hotel is nice, if some people think its 'basic' try Salou. The rooms, are in fact cleaned every day, towels too....not every 10 days. Yes they do play music around the pool, but kids are screaming too, if music wasn’t playing, people would then start to complain about the kids. So the music is good. Food is nice, especially the chips. They used to serve waffles (with lots of chocolate sauce) in the afternoons most days, they are lovely, liked them so much i got a waffle maker for Christmas to make my own.
Entertainment quite average, however if people say it isn’t enjoyable, why not go out, pubs/clubs/restaurants are only a few minutes away. Rubbish around the pool (which there is not much of) is not the hoteliers fault, people should learn to put things away themselves. Cleaners are out every late afternoon, early morning to clean around the pool, they cant do it during the day as it is to busy, and more than likely...people would complain.
As i was 16 on this holiday, people may think of my opinion as invalid, however i have been to many hotels before, and there are a lot worse, perhaps some better, but its not bad, its nice for anyone who is there to enjoy themselves and not scrutinize every little bit that’s wrong with the place they are staying in.
Staff were nice, and although entertainment staff can be annoying (as usual in any hotel) they are all nice just the same. There were no 'hygiene' problems, when we were staying there. Again if that 'excrement' was there, someone obviously did it, so again, it isn’t the hotels fault, I imagine the hotel staff cleaned it up as soon as they were made aware of it.
The staff in the eating area, are all very lovely and smiley. And so are they cleaners who clean the rooms. Had a lovely time, would definitely go back, as well as the hotel, the actual country of Cyprus is great and the people who live there are very friendly.
