Alegria de Goa Hotel

Alegria de Goa sits between the golden sands of Candolim Beach and the lively Candolim resort centre. The hotel is a short easy walk (200m) to Candolim Beach, where water sports, are normally available. 200m in the opposite direction is the lively resort centre where there are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and nightclubs to choose from. A regular bus service runs outside the property to Panjim and Calangute. There is a well-maintained outdoor pool, a quiet, sunny terrace next to the indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant area serving drinks and a varied menu of continental, Chinese and Goan food.

Comments:	We will be staying at the Alegria De Goa for the third time in January. By Indian standards the Alegria is very good. The staff are so friendly and what to help you have a good holiday, they keep their distance but are right by your side when needed. read more

Comments:	Myself, daughter, her partner and 3 yearold grandson stayed here over Xmas and New Year 2006/2007. Although the staff are very friendly and attentive, it did not make up for the shabby rooms and the bathroom left a lot be desired! read more
