Hotel Description:

If you're looking for somewhere off the beaten track of tourism, peacefully rural and comfortably simple, this is for you. Probably best appreciated by couples and mature travellers, this new, clean and welcoming hotel makes a great value base for independent exploration. The hotel has its own bar, restaurant and swimming pool, hosts lively entertainment a couple of nights each week and offers courtesy transport to Calangute beach. The location makes it unsuitable for customers with walking difficulties. 1 km from local shops and eateries, 1.5 km from the resort centre and 2 km from the long sandy beach.

Rooms are very basic! No loo roll when we arrived-go prepared. We had to ask continuously for 4 days before getting our rooms cleaned, even that was done as we waited in reception-as it still had not been cleaned when we arrived in the evening! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at village royal. I have previously been been to India 4 times and I have to say this was my best time.

The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I was very sad to leave and I will be traveling back there very shortly.
