" We booked a holiday with Apollo... "

We booked a holiday with Apollo travel and they couldn’t have been any more helpful than they were. The Hotel Iberostar Costa Canaria which they suggested was better than we expected.

The hotel service was second to none and the food was excellent, we were spoilt for choice and I have stayed in some hotels but this was the best out of the 4* I have ever stayed in for location, service, cleanliness.

There was always someone cleaning something all day long. If you want a quite location but only a few kilometre to nightlife, then this is the place to stay. I would be going back there hopefully next year and recommend this hotel 100%.

The only downside is the entertainment is based a lot on the children’s club and not enough for adults.

The other downside is the flight with Thomas Cook airline was the most uncomfortable I have ever flown, too cramped and was disappointed with paying excess baggage for 2kilo's when no one else on the plane was charged. They all came up to tell us they got away with it but we seem to have been picked on.

" Great hotel for older people!... "

Great hotel for older people! Fantastic location with private access to the beach, magnificent pools, spa centre with value for your money. But the best is the food. We giant 5 kilos when we returned home after 2 weeks ... we couldn’t get enough. Starting every morning with a glass of champagne !!! Rooms were typical hotel rooms but the bathroom was very roomy with the toilet and bidet en suite. Service was very helpful and friendly. The only negative I can say about this hotel is that the water of the pool was a bit to cold for me in December and also that the last week of our stay the Internet facilities were not working anymore. But go to this hotel when you are over 40 ... like my partner and me ... and you like a relaxed and quiet atmosphere.
