Firstly the accomodation is very basic but you get what you pay for. Its only a 2* so i find it highly pathetic that people expect something spectacular. If you are stupid and dont shop about then i am sure some travel agents etc will rip you off. The food is excellent... more

Me and my partner stayed at club happy days in sept 2010 for a week. It was one of the best holidays we've had for service, friendlyness, entertainment, food etc. It's a family run hotel which made our stay even better as they were all so friendly and nice especially our... more

happy days r here again
booked last october never been to turkey the name of the hotel says it all but it was basic but very clean and friendly the kids loved it with the slide would go back if cheap
Brilliant hotel!
Despite being early season me & 4 girl friends just came back from a fabulous holiday in Marmaris. We stayed at Club Happy Days. Staff were wonderful & really friendly. Put on loads of entertainment... even fire breathing! Food was good. Hotel was clean and staff made a real effort to please. Would definately recommend this holiday to anyone looking for a great time!
Happy happy days!
I am writing this review as I stayed at Happy Days a couple of weeks ago and although I had an excellent time and enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the staff told me that they had gotten bad reviews last season so I thought I'd share my experience and try and turn that around! There has been a lot of renovation work going on at the hotel and although I never went there before it is evident in the whole vibe of the hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided at the same time. Another great factor is the location. the bus is only a 2min walk which takes you to the centre of Marmaris but locally there are tons of bars and restaurants. In short I would recommend Club Happy Days to anyone wanting an enjoyable, entertaining stay with friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. I would deefinitely go back!
The joneses northampton
got back from tuckey in september had a brillant time best holidays ever. The reception staff r really nice are room was nice.on the 4 floor. the bar staff were really nice got on well with them. made loads of friends. if u ever want to go to turkey club happy days is the place. the rooms were clean. i would go back to turkey.
Filthy, Dirty Hole
My Husband and I booked up at the very last minute for this holiday. We didnt have time to even look up the Club happy days hotel. The whole place was filthy. From the reception area , the lifts and the corridor leading to our room. We were on the very top floor, where we had a great view of the whole area from the balcony. This was supposed to be a self cateriing room, but as it was so dirty you could not use the pans, cooker or even the cutlery or crockery. there was no plug for the kitchen sink, instead there was a billiard ball. There was a T.V bracket on the wall but no T.V. The sheets did not fit the bed, so there was two sheets on the bed, one covering the top half and one covering the bottom half. Even the top cover didnt cover all of you. The shower in the bathroom did not stay put, so we had to ask for it to be fixed. The toilet would not flush unless you lifted the whole lid up. We were without hot water for 4 days out of the 7 we were there. The Hotel lift was not working properly. It would stop between floors, which I found quite frightening. The staff were just as disgusting as the hotel. Any woman on her own did not seem to be safe, as the staff were all over them. The staff were extremely rude in asking why we would not stay and eat in the hotel, but if the state of the rooms and the hotel was anything to go by then what state would the kitchen be in. The only positive thing about the hotel was the swimming pool. Also we had lovely weather. No We would not go back to Turkey.
Hotel Happy Crappy Days.
Worst hotel I stayed in. No loo roll, carpets dirty, shower cold, lifts not working, and we were given the top floor... basic kitchen utensils, one ring hotplate only. Towels changed every two days. The whole room smelled and was falling to pieces. Above all the worst of the worst Hotel. The upside is, its in a good location, shops/cafes nearby. Great nightly entertainment, staff are lovely and make you forget the miserable room. Dolmus No. 2 takes you to the seaside (10min ride). Try Uncle Sams for breakfast. Pallette for supper, both walking distance from hotel, although the hotel does not provide meals but do a great Turkish Night meal with live entertainment, not to be missed.
Club Cr.. sorry Happy Days
Stayed at Club Happy Days with my husband. Where to start.....the toilet seat banged in to your back when you sat down, the towels were stained and were only changed once within the week as were the bed sheets. The apartment was not cleaned at all during the week but the bins were emptied every two days (small mercy). The bathroom smelled of foist and the shower curtain was covered in mould. There was no inside table and chairs so even though it was a self catering apartment you could only eat at the plastic garden set on the balcony. There was no dressing table or mirror and the "settee" was dropping to bits and had a sheet over it (didn't dare take this off because I didn't want to see what it was covering). The whole apartment stunk of smoke and was very grubby and run down overall. Ah.... don't forget to supply your own toilet paper as you only get half a roll and no more is supplied. This was booked through Goldtrail whom I will never travel with again, I went to see the rep who promised to sort out the problems but this never happened, I think he may have been too busy sorting out the queue of complainers who were continually harrasing him. Luckily this has not put me off Turkey which is a lovely place and if you are staying in this part of Turkey try Palette for the fantastic food and service. I am aged 35 (it sometimes helps to know)
club happy days not!!!!!!!!
Hi just back from a weeks holiday in turkey. turkey itself is a lovely place to see and the locals are so frindly and helpful. Club Happy Days apartments were not so good. The door of our apartment looked like someone had forced their way inside it, there was lumps out of the door frame and a hole in the midle of door. On inspection of other doors a lot of them were the same. The shower was rotten the water didnt run away and the toilet wobbled every time you sat on it. The tap dripped constantly in the bathroom sink. The whole apartment looked grubby and uncared for there was stains on the walls everwhere. Not a nice place to stay at all, it was my first holiday with new boyfriend and was below standard accomadation. I have been in Ibiza , lanzarote, Portugal and Tenerifie in last 2 years , and they put this apartment to shame. I booked the holiday last min and paid £312 each for a week. I read the reviews after wards and thought maybe people were exagerating, as some of the reviews mentioned how bad the apartments were, and my boyfriend said maybe it was rival apartment owners trying to put people off, but unfortunatly the bad reviews were acurate. My advuce go to turkey , but stay some where else.
Absolute Hell Hole
I appeal to all holidaymakers to never book a holiday with Goldtrail Holidays. We travelled with them to Club Happy Days in Mamaris this August (2007) and endured the worse holiday of our entire lives. Accommodation was not fit for animals let alone humans. List of problems included broken dangerous lifts, filthy sub standard rooms, blocked fire exits, torn and dirty bedlinen, dodgy plumbing in most rooms, broken and unlockable patio balcony doors, broken glass mirrors, scummy carpets, rude and unhelpful staff, loose electrical wiring and much more! To make matters worse, Goldtrail reps failed to listen to the desperate pleas of depressed and desperate holidaymakers who were disgusted by the poor standard of accommodation that greeted them. This holiday wasn't cheap and cost us £1275 for 1 week for 3 adults and 1 child.
club happy days apartments
have just returned from a fortnight at these apartments and what an experience that was.I have never been in such dirty disgusting unsafe apartments in my whole life and I've travelled a lot. dog poo on the hall carpets windows not fitted into the frames lifts not working no hot water for four days (very helpful when you have a toddler) shallow end of pool up to my chin (I'm 5ft 8") air conditioning not working properly but the worst thing was a large mirror falling from the wall onto the bed where me and my son where lying and I can assure u there was no screw holes or screws holding it up just a spot of silicone.it said family friendly in the brochure maybe for the Addams family but definetly not for hard working people looking too chill out and relax.wot a dump.
