Fantastic Holiday at St Nicholas Park

This hotel is fantastic, Everybody is friendly and welcoming and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The bar staff partciually Ali and Engin are very nice and were fantastic with my 2 year old daughter, Playing ball with her and dancing with her. She loved it.
The rooms are great and nothing else was needed. The maids even though do not speak much English are very friendly and clean the rooms of a very high standerd.
The veiw from the hotel is fantastic looking over the sea and Olu Dinez.
The resturant food is excellent and fantastic value for money. The waiters are helpful and friendly and the service is out of this world. Hussain and Murat were fantastic with our daughter and made our meal times enjoyable and relaxed.
The hotel itself is situated on the top of a hill with beautiful views and only a short walk away from the busy streets of Hisaronu. The night life at the hotel is very good, with music, shows and karaoke.
I have really enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to anybody. x

We spent two weeks staying at the St Nicholas Park and I can honestly say that it was the best holiday we have ever had!!
The accomodation was great, and cleaned on a regular basis, and we were lucky enough to have a room with a terraced area where we could sit and eat (room 501).
The pool was lovely and clean (although there was the usual early morning rise to reserve sun-beds).
There are plenty of lovely restaurants in Hisaronu but I would definetley recommend the Hotel restaurant. The food was the best we had and the service was fantastic.
We have two children aged 9 and 5 and they both had a fantastic time......so much so that we have booked to stay here again next year......and we can't wait!!!

have just returned from our holiday having stayed at the St Nicholas Park. chose this hotel simply by looking through various internet pages. Smply can not fault the place, i am not one who normaly writes on these pages but had to comment on our stay. The place is definately up market in comparison to some hotels in the area, the pool is great, rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly throughout and my only regret is that we didnt sample the resturant until the last night. I must confess we didnt have a bad meal anywhere but the hotel resturant was probably the best, the cheepest and most attentive waiters.Dont be put off by reports of a struggle up the hill when returning from town, 10 minutes is all it takes and works off some of the wonderfull food sold in the resturants in town.
We were unfortunate in that our airline XL went bust the day we were due to come home. The manager went out of his way to help us and keep us informed as to any developments / news re flights home. The resident photographer even offered us use of his own apartment free of charge if we needed somewhere to stay should the hotel not be able to accomodate a longer stay.
THANK YOU ST NICHOLAS PARK........ will definately come again

This hotel is truly one of the best in Hisaronu. Everybody is friendly and welcoming which makes your stay alot more enjoyable. The bar staff partciually Sali are very nice and are very good with children. The staff in the hotel are partly what made me and my family come back 4 times!
The rooms are of an excellent quality and the maids even though do not speak much English are very friendly and clean the rooms of a very high standerd.
The veiw from the hotel is amazing, also the resturant food is very nice its cheap and offers a wide selection. The waiters are helpful and friendly they help you relax and enoy your meal.
The hotel itself is situated on the top of a hill with beautiful views and only a short walk away from the busy streets of Hisaronu. The night life at the hotel is very good, with music, shows and karaoke.
Me and my family always leave a well deserved tip to the bar staff at the end of our holiday each year since they work so hard!
I cannot wait for my trip to this hotel this year since it is such a nice place to be.

Me and my family have been going to this hotel for the past 4 years. This year will be our 5th year back. Every year when we go we always feel welcome. There is such a great atmosphere. The hotel is perfect for familes because of the pool facillities and friendly bar staff. The hotel resturant has food of an excellent quality and cannot be faulted. The night life at this hotel is very good. There are regular shows such as breakdancers and turkish dancing. All in all i love this hotel and feel it cannot be faulted.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Nicholas Heights hotel olu deniz.
Very up market and can strongly recomend the facilities and room features.
Unless they have taken on board most of the comments from quite a few of the paying guests, don't expect too much from the service.
The waiters are students doing a practical course in hotel routines with little English and unfortunately during our stay they were getting no training and had no idea of what was expected.(I got the feeling that the restaurant manager was a family member or friend who had never seen the inside of a restaurant so could not impart any advice to his staff)So be patient with these friendly and willing to please lads.
We eventually went over to self service which helped them and us and the breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice.
The evening meals were of superb quality and reasonable price had the best steak and sea bass I can remember having in a long time.
The walk down to the town of olu deniz takes about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace,(Look out for the Tortoises and lizards)
When eating out in olu deniz we found the best restaurants were off the main road and in the side streets. Our favorite for good food and value with service was "Shades" run by Deniz (crazy about football) Instead of turning into the main street after the walk down from the Heights,go straight across.
The First Choice rep deserves a mention.
Nothing was too much trouble
Well done Hanya you helped make our holiday great 10 out of 10

Sep 2007, Mr S Axon

We are first time in Turkey, booked St Nic Park as advertised as quite ideal for couples looking for peace - not true. First we booked double room with balcony, we had tiny basement for self-catering, we complained our rep we never saw. Peaceful we had music till 3 in morning children banging doors all times of day, 6 people in all on 1 floor complained about 1 family. We slept well for 2 nights, first night and last night as we knew we were going home.
Staff friendly, spotless hotel but the brothers seem to have forgotten what customer service is, they are to busy building. This is not at the bottom of budget, should be better. We met people who had been there 10 years plus but would now not be returning. Our first time with St Nicholas propertys and the last. I really do not want to be having breakfast when people next to me are ordering lager with breakfast, not what I paid for and wont pay again. If you want something better which we found try the Orka. Visitors to St Nicks hope you have better luck than us.

Arrived at 7am after travelling...

Sep 2007, Mrs D Henson

Arrived at 7am after travelling throughout the night to find out that we had been given a terrible room that smelt so bad with a damp fusty smell that we could hardly breathe (room 501). Complained to the reception who could not understand me so they called the rep for me who was useless.
After lots of complaining we eventually got moved to another room which was better, but had no fridge. The rep told us a fridge was not featured in the holiday brochure, however I have never been self catering without a fridge!
The Hotel otherwise was generally ok but I wouldn't go back there again as the walk back at night was not very nice when it was dark as the hotel is quite secluded.
We were also told the hotel was in Olu Deniz, but it was actually Hisaronu a short bus ride away. Hisaronu was not as quiet and relaxing as I would have liked, but it was ok.

Hisaronu is a beautiful resort, if you want traditional food and fantastic Turkish surroundings, Hisaronu is for you.
We have visited Turkey several times - and Hisaronu and Side are without a doubt our favourites.
St Nicholas Park & Apartments is a fantastic complex, there are two pools, they get very crowded and the pool with the slides has limited beds around it. The pool and surrounding areas are immaculate as is the entire hotel
The staff are so professional and go out of their way to ensure your stay is nothing short of brilliant - my husband was taken into hospital and the staff were so helpful during his stay and finally on his return to the resort
The rooms are good, there is little natural light in the apartments so can sometimes feels a bit dark and dingy but you so spend so little time in the apartment - who cares!!
The restaurant offers a good choice of food at high standard and cheap - the waiters are eager to please and good fun
We got married whilst we were out there and I would highly recommend this - once you are in resort it is completely stress free and the surroundings at Sun City is beautiful
It's a lovely place, very relaxed - 9/10
FIRST CHOICE - this was the first and ONLY time I will use First Choice - I found them unprofessional (especially in resort) apart from the Wedding Coordinator who was worth her weight in gold.
Sadly because of our wedding and my husband spending 4 days in hospital, our holiday was cut short but we hope to return next year...

Got back nearly a week ago. I cannot fault this hotel, it is clean and all of the staff are friendly.
The pool area is a great place to chill out during the day, be warned though, there was a lack of sun beds some days when most people decided to stay in.
Hisaronu is a 10 minute walk away with a great choice of restaurants. The Lemon Tree was really nice, also The Turkish Ivy. In this place, you have to wait a while for your food, but the wait was more than worth it.
We went with Perfect Choice Holidays, who were over £300 cheaper than First Choice.
We are planning on going back next year.

Jul 2007, The Faz

Set in a cracking location with great views of Mt Bababad and loads of trees and a more than welcome cooling breeze, Nick Park, I believe, is considered the top complex in the area. You will realise this when the "sales persons" in the local shops ask where you stay then up the price of anything you want to buy. Chancers.
The place is spotless and cannot be faulted; however the room which I lived in was poorly laid out with access to everything via the main bedroom, not ideal with young uns aged 11 & 14. The balcony is also very small.
As reported, the bar staff are very friendly with a "tip box" at the end of the bar, but they do work long hours.
The food in the restaurant was some of the best I tasted in the whole resort and reasonably priced, however I was disappointed to be refused half price for kids when others received it. I refused to use the restaurant again after my second refusal. Their loss.
As mentioned, you will find the attention of the local shop owners a pain, it's up to you how you deal with it, but they are friendly. Fortunately they stop short of physically carrying you into their shop.
Good size resort however at night it's like Christmas with all the lights and put me off (they must assume this is what the Brits like, surely not).
Places were named 'Harry’s Bar' and 'Robin Hood' (sigh) and chips with everything.
I should have done more research.

Saint Nicholas Park Hotel is one of the best hotels you could see here in turkey.
I went this year and the weather was really good it got to 43c and was sunny everyday.
The food was nice and the restaurant was good.
The people was very pleasant and they have every thing by the hotel they have english restaurants, pubs and lots more.
There is a lot of things to do with your kids as well. Loads of shops and very cheap.
The pool area was very nice the pool is deepish and very cool. There is a slide what kids can go on and there is another slide for adults too.
