Gloria Palace Amadores Hotel

just spent 2 weeks at gloria palace hotel all inclusive hotel great staff super food good only fault was drink purchase on new years eve after 11/30pm the prices quadrupled expected to pay 10 euros not 22 euros for 2 drinks one glass of cava one rum@coke. previous hotel visited new years eve only charged same price as normal

Very good Hotel. Enjoyed it very much.
Hotel is well situated with a beautiful view over the Atlantic Ocean.
We enjoyed the several seats in diferent spots in the Hotel. The Entertainmenst is great and every nigth diferent acts. Personel is very friendly and good. Cleaning is very good.
also the elevator has glass at the front, so You can look over the Ocean.
Food is excellent, Breakfast is also good.
We would recomment this Hotel. We certainly will be coming back.

We have just returned from the most fantastic two weeks holiday ever. This hotel is in an excellent location. There is a glass lift which will take you down to the walkway and from there you can either walk into the Amadores Beach area or into Peurto Rico Harbour.
The rooms are spacious with air conditioning and we had an excellent view of the sea. Cleanliness was of a very high standard. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is ever a problem.
We went all inclusive and I would highly recommend this as drinks can be expensive. The food in the restaurant and snack bar was excellent with a great variety.
I thought it was a good idea that every Morning there was Salsa/Zumba and Aqua Aerobics for the ladies, while the gents had Shooting and Archery.
The evening entertainment could have been better but as we were in a large group we made our own entertainment.
I would definately recommend this hotel and we will be booking again for next year.

Excellent hotel,spacious rooms,great views,very helpful staff(always putting the customer first),good and varied food,spacious pool area and well located for travelling around the island or walking into Puerto Rico or the beach area on up the coast.
Finally,we arrived late on Saturday evening and the hotel had laid out a cold buffet of ham,pate,mixed salads,bread and cheese plus bottles of water in the restaurant.

Great Holiday!
Staff is really warm and friendly, you don´t see it many times but they make you feel really welcome!
The hotel is situated in a good, nice place, 10 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from the harbour/shopping centre, the rooms are big enough, very clean and the vieuw is marvelous!
Breakfast, more than enough choice for everybody, really good quality.
Never liked to go back to the same hotel before but this time i´m going to make a difference, for sure i´m coming back here!

Absolutely, without doubt the best place that I have ever stayed! The facilities were amazing and the staff always so polite and helpful. The food was amazing at each and every meal.
Evening entertainment was great, and staff could not do enough for you.
I would definately recommend this to anybody!

I have just returned from this hotel, it has an extraorinary veiw and the friendliness of the staff are up to a high standard. However money went missing from our room, both my friend and i were missing 100 euros each from our safe. We went straight to the manager however nothing could be or was done about it. This effected the rest of our holiday as we could not carry out the activities we had planned to do as we were short of money. After talking to other people staying at the hotel, they had the same problem and also read other reveiws from different websites regarding stolen euros. So if you are staying at the hotel keep note of exactly how many euros you use, so that if and when the maids steal your euros, go straight to the police as the hotel staff do not do anything about it.
As lovely as the hotel is, i am not sure if we shall be returning but if we do, we will take our own safe.

Just came back from this hotel on 4th July 2011. What a fabulous hotel. The rooms are very spacious with air conditioning which is a big bonus. The food is fabulous and caters for all. The staff cant help you enough. I went all inclusive and would recommend it as the drinks are expensive and i think it works out cheaper in the end, especially if you are taking children. I was in block 3 which was fabulous as it's quiet and very private with ocean views. The only negative thing I can say was the entertainment at night was rubbish but it only cost 3 euros in a taxi to go to the centre of puerto rico where the night life is (5 mins in a taxi). I had a fabulous holiday here and will definately be looking to go here again next year

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel. Didn't disappoint. Also my son surprised us all and got engaged. We were in a group of 14, everyone had a lovely holiday and I would like to thank the staff very much. One thing though I feel I need to mention, when checking out and you are not getting picked up for a few hours it would be a really nice touch if the hotel would allow you to still receive your meals and refreshments, after all we are still your guests until we leave your premise. This I must say was a special touch the Sandos group of hotels do for their guests. So Gloria think about this please. Special mention to (I'm sorry I've forgotten your name) but she is the customer relations officer within the hotel, very helpful and found my wrap, thankyou again.

Me and my Family stayed at the Gloria Palace Hotel in September for 2 weeks all inclusive, The hotel does the same entertainment every week. so if you are staying for longer then a week i reccommend you wait till the last week to see the hotel entertainment as it is actually very entertaining. But they have a small kids disco first but it gives us adults time to relax before bringing the kids to bed. The Hotels services and amenities are excellent, the 24hr reception is brilliant the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean,tidy and safe. For The men if the matches are on they have a private Bar area for you to watch the matches and also where the evening entertainment is they have a seperate cinema room and snooker/pool room. The Spa is excellent and the kids day time club is brilliant to. The hotel is excellent i couldn't say anything bad about it. The town of Puerto Rico its self is very busy at night always pulling you in to buy things to eat there they don't ever leave you alone that is the only bad thing i could say but all in all i would defo go back to the hotel and town again it was a very enjoyable holiday and would reccomend to anyone to go there.
