My wife and I have just returned from our seventh visit to this fabulous hotel. We first holidayed here in Nov 2004 and can honestly say that the high standards and friendliness of the staff experienced then have been maintained on all our visits. There are fabulous sea views from throughout the hotel, particularly from the generous rooms in blocks 3 and 4. The hotel location is ideal with a 5-10 minutes coastal path walk to the harbour in Puerto Rico and 15 minutes in the other direction to the beautiful Amadores beach. Restaurant has good quality food but can be busy in the evening. Avoiding the peak time isn't difficult though. Sunbeds a plenty beside two excellent pools. Can't wait to return next year.

If your looking for a relaxing holiday with good food stunning views and a friendly atmosphere this is the hotel to be at.This was our third visit in the last four years and it just gets better.Normally we go on our own but this year we went with friends who were also very impressed with the hotel in general. The only thing that we noticed was the percentage of british people had decreased, maybe this was due to the recession.

For personal reasons we have not managed back since 2008 and have missed it so much. We have stayed there five times now and wouldn`t want to go anywhere else. This year will be the fourth time for my son and his family and we have also recommended it to friends who were delighted and are going back. We are booking again for next year with our daughter and her family. Haven`t seen cockroaches in the hotel at any time, only maybe one or two along the path to the beach but that is a common thing. As for the staff, from the management to the maids, everyone is very pleasant and can`t do enough for you.
- Advice: If you`re looking for the perfect holiday, go and see for yourself.

The service is poor, the staff neither friendly nor cooperative. The rooms are not cleaned until you complain, and then they act as if it's your fault. Even if you have All Inclusive, you have to show your card every time you have a drink and watch what you choose. Nobody does anything against the enormous cockroaches wandering through the whole hotel, even at the pool.
Only positive aspect: the hotel really is beautiful.
- Advice: Do not go there!
- Good For: Beach
- Board Basis:Worked there

This must be by far the best Hotel in Pueto Rico. We
have stayed there twice now and it is still as good as the first time, the food is great with plenty of choice
and the rooms are very large with excellent views of the ocean. The balcony is also large and very private. We have been to Puerto Rico six times now and we would use this Hotel when we go back again.
- Advice: Go with confidence

Met at reception with a champagne welcome drink, what a start, shown to our room within 5 minutes of arriving. Great view of lower pool area (room 2208) and very private balcony. Rooms very spacious and clean, fridge, tv and coffee facilities. Upper pool area served snacks from 10.00am until 5.30pm which were away from the pool and waiter service at tables, hotdogs, burgers and pizza + salad and chips, really tasty. Restaurant had different themes (spanish, mexican, french, etc) every night along with salad bar and chefs cooking fish, chicken and meat to order. All food was of a very high standard. Drinks in restaurant were wine, beer, soft drinks and water only, but all other bars were spirits and cocktails as well.
We have been on many all-inclusive holidays before but this one was by far the best, we loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
- Advice: Wonderful hotel, facilities, location and staff.

From being dropped off at the entrance everything was amazing. Very impressive lobby, there is a leather shop a chemist a jewellers and other shops and free wi fi if you take your lap top in certain areas ,there was always something to eat at the restaurant the drinks were of a a very high quality rooms were very nice and very spacious you cannot hear the people next door to you at all. There is two pools on different levels the top pool has a snack bar with burgers pizza chips and salad i would definitely recommend all inclusive option as things are expensive. There is a small nudist area at the top pool and also a spa and wellness centre. The glass lift takes you right down under the road onto the promenade where a pleasant walk will take you to the pretty harbour. If you have children there is always someone and something for them to do.IT was lovely so go

We stayed at the hotel during the eruption of the Iceland volcano. We had to stay for an extra week all expenses paid - half board. It was not a hardship. After the initial upset we settled into our enforced stay just fine. Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff, good food, clean, very spacious, nightly entertainment quirky sometimes but amusing (enjoyed The Drifters). The prices for drink (spirits etc.)are a little expensive but you can always go for a stroll to a local bar after dinner and get merry there! All considered I would be very happy to be marooned there any time!
- Advice: Very enjoyable relaxing place to stay

i think some people must go on holiday to look for things to moan about, there is nothing wrong at all with this hotel. As for the staff i found every one of them extremely helpfull and friendly, and given the fact that they are all very busy, i think they all do a great job. ok so our hairdryer was not exactly the greatest, but does that actually stop you from having a good holiday? I think they should open a hotel just for people who like to go on holiday to criticise, and i wonder what they would find to talk about then, they'd probably be very bored. My advice..... stop moaning..... get a life and just enjoy your holiday, you're only here once........
