Mola Apartments

Just got back after first time in Turkey. Mola appartments were one of the relaxed we have stayed in with beautiful mountain views.At no point were we woken by any noise. The other guests clearly had been going for a number of years & certainly loved it. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The family who run the Mola are lovely & friendly, nothing is too much hassle. The kitchen equipment is basic with a 2 ring hot plate for cooking and kettle, we took a toaster but rarely used it. The breakfast was great value for money and attracted other people from other hotels.The walk into Icmeler is approx 15mins, however the bus into Icmeler stops outside supermarket around the corner from the hotel every 5-10mins & costs 1.50TL (40/50pence).
We will be back next year to Mola for a longer holiday. Try Oscars british fun pub, staff are excellent especially Murat (Eddie) in keeping guests entertained & work their socks off.

Just back from our 2 wk stay at the Mola Apart and I could not fault it. It was our first time in Icmeler as we usually stay in Marmaris but I can honestly say I have never stayed at such lovely clean apartments they were spotless. It was a refreshing change to be able to come and go without being asked if we were "goin out again" as this has happened with every other place we have stayed at in Marmaris. If you are looking for a quiet friendly relaxed atmosphere then this place is a must, we will be returning next year.

We have just come back from Icemeler having moved from the Adler apartments (next door) which were awful to the Mola. The Mola is fantastic, extremely good value for money, bright, clean and spacious. The family run apartments (Raki and Ilias together with the gardner Memet) made our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Raki and Ilias spoke perfect english. They gave us a little bit of discount too as they realised we had to pay again to move to the Mola. We spoke to one couple who had been coming there for 12 years staying a month at a time, they loved it and couldnt praise the place and the staff highly enough. Everyone else we met who were staying there was all saying how good it was. Especially the staff who were so helpful and good fun. The apartment was lovely and cleaned regularly. The pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds. We tried several of the breakfasts/snacks which were very good. Drinks etc were all reasonably priced too. We were so pleased we had moved and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly place to stay. There were a mixture of ages staying here too and the music was also a bit of a mixture to suit everyone. Also it was not too loud if you wanted a nap in the afternoon! We will definitely be back and will recommend the Mola to all our friends.

Just back from mola.june 3-17,another brilliant holiday,clean friendly and cheap.I dont know what the whingers are looking for but thankfully there was none there when we were,and as for the pool area,one said it was dated,it is one of the cleanest best kept pools in the resort.

My partner and I have just returned from our annual holiday.This year we chose Icemeler in Turkey a beautiful and very picture perfect Holiday resort with loads to do and see. We were exasperated by the views and the sights that this lovely town had to offer. Unfortunately we stayed at the Mola Appartments in the old village.This has to be the worst place we have ever stayed. We are both in our 40s but it seems you needed to be at least 60 to fit into this old folks home abroad.The people that stayed there clearly go every year to meet up to discuss knitting patterns and funerals. Very boring. But we just used it as a base to shower, change and try to sleep. I say try because the family who own these appartments have 2 young boys who give you an early morning non stop screaming session usually about 7 clock; And then run riot around the place.Luckily we had the adler hotel next door and we were allowed to use their pool much nicer anyway.

The title speaks for itself, if you are first time stayers at Mola and do not join (which we did not) the regular cronies who go year in year out, around the pool day in day out then you are ostrasied by the Tokmak family. The apartments were fairly clean considering the cleaner only did a quick wipe of the floors each day with a filthy towel rinsed in disinfectant, bins emptied as and when. We chose to have clean towels regularly and this did not go down very well with the family as our bed linen was not changed for over a week and when it was the sheets were creased as if just taken off the line after drying. For several night guests in the bar kept us awake until the early hours laughing and talking loudly encouraged by llyas the son who did nothing to keep the noise down. llyas was quite ignorant spoke to you when he felt like it and when he did speak it was without warmth. We did not sit by the pool because of the loudness of some guests and the unruly behaviour of children plus the loud booming music that seem to go on and on for most of the day. Needless to say it was our first and last time to stay at the Mola Apartments.

I love Turkey especially Icemeler. Every year we stay at Mola apartments and every year we have not been disappointed. The apartments are spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a family run establishment and most of the guests return year on year and the fist timers I have met all say they will be back next year. The place speaks for itself. It offers peace and quiet if required and fun and laughter in a friendly atmophere. The staff always do their best to accommodate everyones needs. The apartments are surrounded by beautiful mountains and is only a short stroll to the centre. There are many taxis and buses if needed and many restaurants to give a different choice each day. The apartments offer a menu that is varied, all cooked by Aysev (the mother) andI would certainly recommend giving the food a try, it is all delicious.

Just had a wonderful holiday staying at the Mola , this was our first time at these apartments and choose there after reading good reviews , we were certainly NOT disappointed . The Tokmak Family who own and run the apts are so friendly and make you feel very welcome . We ate breakfast at the poolside bar everyday but ate at different places throughout our 2 week stay . the few times we ate at the poolside bar on an evening were lovely and the home cooked food by Aysel is tasty and wonderful , No cpmplaints at all . We were not made to feel uncomfrtable because we ate out . Ilyas and Rakibe , the owners son and daughter worked really hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay . I would highly recommend these apartments , they are clean , safe and friendly ... Saving up for next time already ..

The Mola Apartments are situated in the old part of Icmeler next to the Adler Apartments in a quiet area but with shops and a frequent bus service on the doorstep. We have actually been staying there for the past week and cannot fault the accomodation or the staff working here. We have been to either Marmaris or Icmeler probably 18 times in various types of accomodation, the most recent being the Grand Cettia rated No. 1 in Marmaris. For us this leaves the rest standing and is by far the best value for money, ticking all our boxes. Reviews on other sites have been mixed but any negative comments should be ignored. The air con is very efficient,( unlike the Cettia) and the rooms are clean and spacious and we have a lovely sunny balcony with a stunning view of the nearby mountains. Some rooms however are on the lower ground floor and have less privacy/ sunshine but may suit those with mobility problems as there is no lift. There is also satelite TV with all the uk channels and free wifi access 24/7 which is allowing me to post this review. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday at a bargain price then do not look any further. If the next week continues as good as the last, which no doubt it will, then we will be here again next year for certain.Julie room 307

i have just come back from mola apartments icmeler turkey,we all had a great holiday i can`t fault it one bit they were all so kind,friendly,helpful, i have never stayed at a place like it as they couldn`t do enough for you and also the place was so clean .
when we left to come home they carried our suitcases onto the minibus for us and then kissed and waved us goodbye,we are all definately going back it was such a relaxig holiday i just wished i didn`t have to come back after 10days
