been to the kurt 3 times and never again will i go back there. mr kurt junior tried to rip us off so many times i lost count. charging us for food and drink we never had.the cleaners never came to our room before 6.30pm just as we were getting ready to go out, we had no fresh bedding for 5 days and no clean towels for 4 days, mr kurt junior was more interested in the turkish people that were staying in the hotel and making sure there rooms were cleaned first. mr kurt junior was not very happy if you didnt eat in the restaurant on a night time but we just told him we were going elsewhere and if he didnt like it tough! i would advise people who want to go to the kurt to pay as you go and not run up a bill as they will try to slip extra drinks on your bill. if it was not for mr kurt junior the kurt apartments would be a very nice place to stay. only staff i would trust is mustafa who is the night barman-caretaker, hes is fantastic, i would trust him with my life.

having read a few reviews b4 we went to Kurt apartments we went with an open mind. We knew other ppl had said how pushy they are but we know the turkish are pushy and are used to it so were not worried. We arrived early in the morning and the hotel and pool were clean and tidy and looked lovely. the owner mr kurt was welcoming and we paid for the air con. he did try to over charge us but as we were warned we were ready and told him it was not right! So be careful! The room was lovely and clean and was cleaned daily by the lovely turkish maids who we tipped personnaly as didnt trust they would get it The first time we came into the bar the waiters and owner did nothing but try to sell us their trips. If we went elsewhere at night they always asked us why we going somewhere> why not eat here? etc. We just kept saying nothing but he does intimadate. One night we were late back, only 1am but the waiters had tried to lock us out by tying rope round the gate! Lucky we had a lighter! If you want any trips go to icmeler travel in the new town. I recommend all their trips. We didnt use mr kurt as we like to get the best deals for our money and he does overcharge! It is a lovely country and we love turkey but not these apartments. We used the neighbouring hotels pool. They were very friendly and kind without being pushy.If you have booked this hotel dont worry. Just make sure he doesnt overcharge you and be firm with your no's.

We had read reviews before we went and were not sure but when we got there the staff were very helpful and of course they wanted you to stay there al the time. whenwe told them we were self catering because we like to go to different places they were fine. Mr Kurt senior took us out on his private boat which was a great day out because he took you where you wanted to go. The only one who was a bit of was Mr Kurt junior he was not happy if you were not spending all your money there, we nicknamed him Duracell because he was there 24/7 even if you went to bed at 5am he was still there and i dont think he trusted any of the staff with the bills he did it all himself, apparently his nickname by other hoteliers is Mr Addon???? Some lovely places to eat ,the Mandolin does at set menu for 17 lira Harrys restaurant lovely meatballs but the best of all was the wayside just down the road bit more expensive but worth it. We would all definately go back to the Kurt Apartments Peter &Christine Smith George & Karen Dalglish And Eric & Elaine Weir all in our 50's

stayed for 2 weeks everything was ok but constantly asked to eat and drink there found it very tiring.cleanin,bar staff,cook were all very pleasent.

We have gone to turkey about 10 times now and 7 of these we have stayed in the Kurt. They are the cleanest apartments we have stayed in on any holiday. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the cleaners are really friendly and always say hello. The bedding and towels are changed every 2-3 days. On the first day of the holiday, they towels are arranged into beautiful patterns on the bed. We always ask to stay on the top floor becasue this way you dont have to pay for aircondition, you just open the back window and balcony door and you get a cool breeze. The family are really friendly people who are always there to help you if you have a problem. Their son who works there sometimes pesters you to eat there but that is what all the people who stand outside the resturants are like. The safety deposit boxes are in reception however they are safe because you need two keys to get into them, one is kept by you and the other is kept by Mr Kurt. The food at the apartments is really nice especially the meatballs. The apartments are situated about 5-10 mins away from the main area with the resturants however there are resturants along the way which are really nice. The apartments are in the old town which are about 5-10 mins from the bars but it is a really beautiful area to stay in especialy if you want a nice quite holiday. If you are a young person you can still have a lively holiday you will just have to walk the 5 mins to the lively bars.

i went with my son who has adhd and autism and stayed at kurt apartments.we were treated very badly and the staff-especially one in particular,was very arrogant and agressive towards my son! we wasnt allowed to use the free pool table after our 6th day because we wasnt eating and drinking there! thank god for the second week of our stay,when our friends came to stay at ozlem 1 apartments-just behind ours.the staff at ozlem made us feel so welcome and were so polite even though they knew we were booked in at kurt! we just ended up sleeping at kurt and spent most of our time at ozlem 1.next year we will definately be staying at ozlem 1 and will NEVER AGAIN stay at kurt!

We stayed at the Kurt Apart for two weeks in October this year. Having read some negative reports about staff pestering guests, we felt a little nervous, but all was well. On arrival our bags were taken to our room and we were met with smiles. The smiles continued throughout our stay. The rooms were basic, but really clean and the cleaning staff were excelllent. The pool area was clean and maintained to a high standard. The apartments are owned by the Kurt family who take great pride in keeping the accommodation clean and tidy. We felt comfortable and safe at the apartments, and nothing was too much trouble. Towels and bedding are changed approximately every three days, or sometimes more, which is average for the resort. There are two blocks of apartments and our apartment faced the pool. The other block does not and has one level below pool level. The balconies are large and we had a very sunny balcony. The other block would have shaded balconies which would be lovely if it was very hot. I think there would be approx 32 apartments. The maids spoke to you every day and enjoyed speaking English, and teaching you some Turkish. We only had snacks at the restaurant and enjoyed them. The prices may have been a little higher but the quality was good. The safety deposit boxes are at reception which we felt would be an inconveniene, however the family were so polite even if they were eating to attend to you. The apartments are located in the Old Village which is approximately ten minutes walk to the main resort, and only two minutes from a local supermarket. There are bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Overall the aparts were great value for money.

before we went on holiday i read many reviews of the place and i have to say they were mostly spot on...... we stayed at the kurt appartments and i have to say they are the cleanest appartments we have stayed in.... they are cleaned every day and bedding changed regularly ( not sure how often) the staff are very friendly- quite irritatingly so at times as they always wanted us to eat at their restaurant.....but to be fair thats just the way it is in turkey. on the occasions we did eat there it was very nice,the chef is very good! the kurt appartments are on a quiet street away from the main strip and very quiet so great if you want a relaxing holiday but everything you need right around the corner. the pool is very clean......and cleaned every evening....i do have to point out tho that there is no shallow end so not really suitable for small children! the town is the busiest on the main strip near the canal(for all those girls wanting to see hunky young men dancing and stripping on the bars etc)and the outskirts are the quieter restaurants.... we went to the wayside restaurant and the food was fab.....staff were great and very helpful. another nice eating place was tratorria.......where again the staff lovely(mother and son) and the food was nice. venice bar and majestic were very lively.....so beware if you have small children with you as the entertainment is NOT suitable...but fantastic otherwise. the market takes place on a wed,it was a horrific experience and one i would not do again....the traders were disgustingly rude and one woman in our complex told me she was actually slapped on the head by a market trader for walking past and not buying anything.they were very insulting and i will never give my money to the market again! if we were ever to stay in this town again we will definatly be booking into the kurt appartments! we had a fab time overall and made some really good friends!
Not keen on Kurt Apartments from tommoian2
The apartments are situated in a quiet area, and are very clean. Cost for air conditioning and a safety box key for 2 weeks is £90 (British money) - which has to be paid on arrival. The air conditionining is only in the bedroom. The shower drainage leaves a lot to be desired and the bathrooms are constantly very wet. Some of the staff are charming and polite. However, others are pushy and overly familiar which became very wearing as time went on. These are self catering apartments, but you will be constantly pressurised to eat and drink in their establishment. There is no shallow end at the pool - so if you can't swim there is nowhere for you to cool down.
Good Family Accomodation from LTeale
A Lovely hotel with lovely hosts. Good food by the pool, Turkish nights and BBQ nights. Lovely pool but it did not have a shallow end just a very small splash pool. Appartments were very clean and a good size. Location is good just a short walk to some bars and restaurants and a 10/15 minute walk to the beach. Mr Kurt has his own boat which you can book for £10 per person which inculdes a BBQ and a full day on the boat. There was just my family on board which was brilliant with lots of snorkeling and fantastic scenery!! If you book direct with the hotel the Kurt family will pick you up from the airport. A lovely family! A tip for turkey, take english currency because a lot of things can be paid for in pounds and you can get a lot of things cheaper that way.
