Bozbey Hotel

We have stayed at the bozbey hotel for many years now of which we found it very nice apart from the room colours that really need a makeover.but this year there was a strange atmosphere going around with The manageress and her partner which made us has a family feel very uncomfortable and i dont think its very nice for guests when you are on your holiday...also the money which we have paid i was very dissapointed in the clensiness of the hotel this year and was not very hygieneic for my two young children therefore i sadly have to say we wont be staying there next year also to my dissapointment we found our bills to be rising on a daily basis of which we can honestly say we did not understand i therefore advise people to re consider staying there summer 2012.

Sorry to be late with this review but I feel I need to warn travellers. Stayed at Bozbey August last year. Manageress very friendly and decent atmostphere.
Unfortunately had to leave urgently and paid £250 for a taxi to another resort without mention of why we left as we were afraid for my two girls.
My daughter was propositioned and cornered twice by the manager, once in her room where he asked if she liked him; she was terrified. She is 18 and he must be 50. Two other men suspiciously turned up, friends of the manager and something felt wrong. We were convinced they were either going to hurt or take one of my daughters, it is not a nice feeling. I have been to Turkey 10 times and love it; this was a shame but from word of mouth we heard that the manager had a reputation for it.
We could see by the look on his face when we left that he knew we knew and he kept his head frimly down. Luckily we have high ranking turkish friends in Icmeler who got us out of there and arranged accommodation
Horrible experience that has been reported to the Turkish police and embassy. I would feel so bad if I heard something had happened and had said nothing. Sorry Irene, you are a nice person but you know the score in your heart.

Just spent 2 weeks at the bozbey hotel, everything was fantastic, rooms always cleaned, staff friendly & helpfull. Irene,ali & buster the dog made you feel at home, nothing was too much for them, really lovely people they made you feel like part of their family. Can't wait to go back next year. Nearly forgot to mention the food, well its to die for!! So much choice & plenty of it! Can't thank Irene, Ali & their staff enough for a truelly wonderfull holiday.

Well what can we say about the Bozbey Hotel. We stayed at this fantastic, small very friendly hotel May/June 2010. From the moment we were met at the airport we knew we had fallen on our feet. We were greeted at the hotel by Ali, Irene, all the staff and of course Buster. The room was basic very clean, plenty of towels whenever needed and the fridge an added bonus. We stayed on half-board basis and the food was fanastic, we were unable to finish any meal as the portions were so large. The bread, soups and cheesecake to die for. Not recommended for anyone on a diet!!! Ali Irene and all the staff met all our needs, including trying to teach us to speak Turkish. (Great laugh) Swimming pool was excellent and more than enough sunbeds for everyone. We recommend everyone to try this lovely hotel. We have booked same weeks again next year. Thanks again Ali, Irene and everyone for making this one of our best holidays ever.

We last stayed at the Hotel Bozbey in 2005 and had a great holiday. We always wanted to return but knew it was under new management and wondered whether it could possibly be as good as last time. We needn't have worried - we have just returned from a 2 week stay which was brilliant in every way. Irene, Ali and all of the staff at the Bozbey went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable - it seems that nothing is too much trouble for them.
We travelled as a group of 9 comprising 2 families with teenage children and 1 child aged 9. We booked half board at a very reasonable cost which prevented the stress of searching for restaurants to suit everyone's taste every evening ! The food cooked at the hotel was delicious and plentiful and the menu was not repeated once during the 2 weeks. If anyone didn't like the day's menu, the chef would cook something else! What service! All meals were eaten outside on the terrace overlooking the beautiful swimming pool. The hotel is small, rooms are all ensuite and fairly basic but beautifully clean. They are also air conditioned (payable at hotel on arrival).
The hotel is situated in the lively resort of Hisaronu but as it is not in the centre, it is lovely and quiet - however, it is only a short walk to the many shops, bars and restaurants. The famous beach/lagoon at Olu Deniz is a short dolmus ride and likewise the harbour and shops/market at Fethiye. During our stay, we had fun bartering for knock off designer bags, t-shirts etc at the markets in Hisaronu and Fethiye; we spent a day on the infamous jeep safari tour which, whilst being tremendous fun, takes you to the awesome Saklikent Gorge as well as mud baths and various other places ending on Chalis beach at sunset (don't expect seat belts and don't expect to stay dry!); we booked a private boat trip for the 9 of us with 'Captain Tom' and had a wonderful day of docking in small coves, swimming, sunbathing and eating a delicious bbq prepared on board; the braver amongst us did tandem paragliding off the mountains above Olu Deniz (6550ft); we also spent a day at the small water park in Ovacik. There is a lot to do and it is all easily accessible from the hotel - in addition, Irene and Ali will always suggest and book trips for you. Alternatively, we just chilled on the many sunloungers by the large hotel pool.....
We can't recommend this hotel highly enough, it's a true 'Turkish delight' - look at their website for pictures and more info. We booked direct. A huge thanks to Irene, Ali, Hussain, Razi, Mustafa etc etc and we will be back for round 2 of pool wars!

just wanted to say what a pleasure was stay at bozbey hotel so friendly , irene and ali made you feel relaxed nothing was to much trouble, food is great theres great chef , and rooms clean and very comfortable , shops and bars 2 mins walk , would stay there again and wanted to thank irene for keeping me company, xx

What can i say .....Had the best time of our lives .
We was made very welcome from the staff at the hotel , Irene & Ali really made us welcome as the weather we had for the first 2 days was really bad ( April showers to them ) The rooms were very clean and comfortable & the pool area clean too . The food was delicious ( complements to cheif Adam )
As it was April that we stayed there , there was not much to do in the village so we just stayed with the best company we could ever have Irene & Ali Buster too ( their dog ) very friendly one too.
I can honestly say that the place was the place to be , we are going back there in July for 2 weeks this time cant wait .

Well what can one say what's not been alredy said about this fantastic little hotel of which is run with such pride and deadecation by Ali & Irene and not forgetting the staff. We booked our flights in 2007 for this year and it started 100% with no waiting around at the airport just picked up and took direct to the hotel. The rooms had a fridge in of which was very handy for cold drinks they were also spotless and clean with fresh towels there were always extra towels if you needed them. The hotel was a total chill out place and there the staff were 100% for Ali and Irene nothing was a problem to them if we wanted or needed anything it was sorted out or done withinn minutes they treated you like family not as a guest of which is very hard to find these days.The pool area was great plenty of sunbeds and a total chillout area under the shade were you would always find Ali most days checking the inside of his eye lids asleep hahaha.....
there is a lot more i would like to say but all i would say is try for your self as i have already booked for 2009.
Ali & Irene i wish you all the very best for the future see you all 2009.

I went to Bozbey Hotel with my family and was unsure what to expect, but the holiday turned out to be one of the best i have been on.
The hotel is very clean, the rooms are basic but have all you will need. Irene, Ali and staff were very welcoming, if you needed anything help was always on hand whether it was to get new towels for the room,advice on day trips or where to go to do your holiday shopping. Irene was never too busy to help.
The food was amazing when staying at the Hotel the turkish pide is a must...and you cannot beat (Ali's special) bread cooked in the clay oven.
The Hotel has a big family feel , you will get to know everyone there and have a good time no matter what age you are.
My whole family were sad to leave......but like most people who stay at the hotel we are already planning our holiday at the Bozbey Hotel for next year!!
A big thanks to Irene,Ali,Roony and Osman for helping to make our trip a memerable one!!!

I Came Back From the bozbey hotel yesterday, and wish that i was still there,
i was made extremly welcome by Irene, ali, Buster,Ozman and Morat, and cant wait to return. the room was basic but always clean and the pool area was great, you could relax but have fun at the same time. the food was great espicially the full english breakfast mmmm, gawjareeno. my mam dad and friends came away with me on this holiday and they had such a great time staying at the bozbey that when it was time to say goodbye a few tears were cried. with the bozbey only being 2 minsutes away from the main village its great as you have all the night life on your door step but at the same time you cant hear anything when its time to go to bed. i am deffinatly returning to the bozbey, to see irene and ali as they treat you like family and make you very welcome.
