I have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Sideris Villa which though basic was immaculately clean. Sideris was always helpful and went the extra mile to make the holiday special. I will certainly return and would recommend these apartments to others. Thank you Mr. S for everything, see you soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sideris Studios in August. We had a poolside room which was very spacious and clean. Although the studios are by a main road you don’t see or notice the traffic. There were plenty of lounges by the pool and in the shade if needed.... more

I am not into returning to a holiday destination once I have been but we will definately be returning to Santorini and Sideris studios and apartments next year. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The rooms vary in size and I think we were quite lucky with the room that we had. The rooms are cleaned everyday except Sunday and even the kitchenette was decent enough to make some lunch on. The pool was always very clean with enough seats for everyone. It was a nice size but had a slight chill to it when we went. We think it was due to a week of bad weather the week before we flew out. We tried a lot of the restaurants in Kamari during our stay. As you walk out of the apartments, head past the towel shop and the pottery shop down to three restaurants. You will come to a restaurant on the left, think it is called Alexanders. This place was fab! The two restaurants after it, both on the corner, a blue one (name escapes me) and No name restaurant. All three of these we visited more than once. To the right of no name is another restaurant which doesn't look much but is really good. We did find a few restaurants on the sea front which were quite disappointing. General feeling among a lot of people was head away from the sea front for a good meal. We didn't spend any time on the beach so are unable to comment. During our stay we hired a car which worked out at £16 for 24 hours. we thought this was a bargain. As the island is so tiny you don't need a huge car. Through Kosmar we visited the Volcano. This is a long day but definately worth it. By car we saw the sunset in Oia, you have to seee this as it is beautiful. Oia as a town is lovely as well but very expensive. Fira we visited by bus and car, both are very easy. The bus was 1 euro 20 and takes you right near the centre. If you take a car there are lots of places to park free of charge and only a few minutes walk from the centre. Fira itself has spectacular views and amazing jewellery shops. Food and drink here is also expensive. The mountain in kamari is a must to visit. Some people walked it but there are buses available to take you up from about 6 Euros. We took the car which was fine. It is worth getting there early because parking gets a little tight. All in all a really good holiday!!
Brilliant Place from clairebella
We have just returned from Sideris Apartments,which we stayed for 2 weeks.We found our stay here ''perfect'' Gregory and Sideris the two brothers who run this place are lovely and cant do enough for you.The rooms are the nicest i have stayed in for self catering apartments.They are really spacious and clean. We were here with a wedding party and a few others were staying in other accomodation but were made very welcome at the sideris and even stayed over a couple of nights. The apartments are ideally situated,only a 5 min walk to the beach and less to bars and restaurants. We found a great bar called ''Liver Birds'' which has just recently opened and is ran by a lovely couple from Liverpool they do an Excellent English breakfast!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would def return to the Sideris Dwight and Claire Teesside
What a fab place from cpcman
My mate and i stayed at the sideris for 2 weeks and was welcomed on arival by Greg and Sideris!This was my mates second time to the appartments so he already knew how good they were!Maid service everyday!What more can i say?We even managed to get both Greg and Sideris to jump in the pool fully clothed!Absolute A1 place to stay would have no objections to revisiting! Book with confidence:-)

we have just returned from 2 weeks holiday at sideris apartments,kamari, what a great place , the two owners gregory and his brother sideris, what a pair of great guys so friendly and would do anything for you, we had a fab time round the pool with them,which is not a bad size and very very clean, the rooms are also very spacious and very clean (the cleaner is the best we've ever had),the apartments are just in the right place,not to far from the beach or shops etc(3-4 mins), we would 110% return here again and again. i'd like to thank gregory and sideris for being great hosts. also give a bar/cafe called liver birds a try in the square,great breakfast. cant wait to go back to santorini. Sideris Apartmens. Santorini 15th. June 2007 Holiday couple from Lierpool. Just returned from our third trip to Santorini and our second stay at the Sideris apartments. Gregory is the best host any one could wish for. Nothing is to much trouble and such a charming man. The location is just right with all of the resort within a very short stroll including the beach and the prom. The apartments them selves are spotless and are some of the largest I have found in Greece. The pool is spot on with plenty of loungers for everyone. The poolside bar is a trust bar in the day time with the ash tray acting as the till and you helping yourselve to the drink of your choice. The bar made for the perfect place to end your night out with other guests and have laugh or just exchange the days topics. All in all the number one spot to stay on Santorini. We will be returning and do not hesitate to recommend the Sideris as the BEST.

We stayed for just one week, that was the mistake! Next time it will be for 2 weeks! These studios and apartments are basic but clean and comfortable. We stayed at the Sideris Studios in May 2006 after reading the reviews we were looking forward to it and we were not disppointed. The studio was spotless and looked straight over the pool and had maid service every day but one. The pool area was cleaned reguarly and we had no problems getting a sunbed round the pool. A trip to Oia or Fira to watch the sunset behind the Volcano is a must. The resort of Kamari and the island of Santorini were everything we had hoped for and more and we cannot wait to return again.

the accomodation was nice and clean, the owner was a lovley bloke , pool was clear and clean we had a group of kids with us because we where their for a wedding and the place was good, we only stayed a week but some of our party are still their, i would go again to the hotel as i said it was nice, could do with a toaster in room and a tv, but on the whole it was great. shaun&sharron campbell
Wedding Party at the Sideris from mumofthebride
My daughter and her fiance, and our party of 22 guests, stayed at the Sideris last month. From the moment we got there we were made to feel so welcome by Gregory, Marguerita, Sideris and Maria. Our rooms were all light, clean and airy and the "maid" came in every day which is very unusual, especially in Greece. We had a couple of guests who needed medical attention, which they happily arranged for us. They arranged my daughters Hen Party by the poolside, as the "bridesmaid" was one of those who was poorly, and laid on a magnificent spread for us with music and family members showing us Greek dancing. On my daughters wedding day, they put more fresh flowers in their room, gave bowls of sugared almonds for the bride and groom to hand around to all guests and decorated their bed Greek Style and scattered rose petals! It was my husband and my anniversay that day and they put flowers in our room too! They really didnt have to do any of this, but they took such great pleasure in making things special. Sideris himself, in conjunction with our official photographer, took excellent photos of the bride, getting ready, groom and all the guests before we went off to the Santo winery for the ceremony. It was nice to have this record of events. When a large number of our party were leaving after the wedding, again we asked them to arrange a party by the pool and we were joined by 6 other guests staying elsewhere in Kamari (they were always made welcome when they came to Sideris appts). We had a brilliant evening and 30 of us again had a magnificent "Greek" spread and more what we laughingly called our Greek dancing. I understand from Gregory that they were only able to do this for us because the taverna next door happened to be closed, which is such a shame, but hopfully will change! These are only a few of the things they all did to make us and our guests feel so welcome! We all are quite well travelled, and all said we have never received such brilliant treatment. 10 of us stayed for a second week, and we can honestly say that we didnt want to come home! We are aleady planning a reunion holiday next year!

THE # 1 place to stay in kamari. Gregory and Margarita are the best hosts you could ask for and Sideris took pre-wedding pictures for our group and gave us an album that day and would not accept payment!! Next door is the Kamari Taverna and the main guys Alexander and Adonis? were awesome..passed over bottles of wine to us when we were having a bit of music by the pool, and the "Fat man Taverna" next to that has the best breakfasts to cure any hangover!! Rooms are spotless and our hosts would take the time to make sure the poolside bar was well stocked. The best bar we found was the "Idrama Taverna" Fatos and Byvie were so kind and if you get the chance ask to see the photo behind the bar of the guys in kilts Definately a place to go back to is Sideris Villas
