Set in pleasant gardens, this well maintained property is only a 4 minute stroll from the centre of Kamari and its long black beach. In separate blocks, the Hermes has its own swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool bar serving food where breakfast is served, indoor bar, 24 hour reception, lift in main building and for the more active, a gym! The hotel offers twin and double rooms for 2 people, with some sleeping up to 3, on a bed and breakfast basis some rooms are located above the pool bar. Breakfast is excellent, the range is almost as good as a 4 star AI hotel - eggs (boiled, fried and omelette), cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruits, cereals, syrups, jams, breads, tea, coffee etc - you certainly do not go hungry. Staff could not do enough - do ask for extra pillows, they only supply one each. They do have an annex over the road which some guests were put in - it looked very basic - if you get put there try and get moved back to main hotel.
In my opinion, this is the most convenient hotel for the beach, without the hassle and bustle of being near the main strip - I would definitely stay here again. It has 2 swimming pools, internet access, small library. Kamari is also the best resort - as it has a defined centre. Excellent hotel - and resort.
