We had a fabulous holiday at the Blue Sky, could not fault it in any way. The whole place is spotless, well kept and perfectly placed for both the beach and all the village shops, bars, restaurants etc. George, Maria and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and Antony makes sure the pool bar is lively and entertaining without being too rowdy! He also pours very generous measures and all the spirits are brand names and reasonably priced. There is a good sized pool area which is also well maintained with comfortable sun loungers. We certainly look forward to a return visit!

We have stayed in Petra before but this was excellent accommodation which was very central for the beach, town square, tavernas etc.
Owners very friendly with their son Antony running the bar and entertainment.
It was up to you how much you wanted to join in, there were quizes and greek dancing and generally a good friendly atmosphere around the pool and bar.
Rooms very spacious and cleaned regularly. We had a fab stay here and will definately be going back. Highly recommended for families.

We had a very nice stay at Blue Sky June this year it was very well kept the pool was
lovely and the weather very hot the pool bar was fun there were six of us and we joined the Greek dancing and had a good evening, we even won the 60,70’s quiz night and won a bottle of red wine.
There are lots of good taverners one we visited a few times was Mythos. Food was lovely. Petra is a very nice place not spoiled has a good bus service to get a round; we did not have a car so it was good.
George and family are very nice people Studios are very large, and we had a ground floor outside was a small pond, with six baby ducks that we watched having there bath every day.
Will go back one day enjoy your holidays at Blue Sky.

A great holiday. We are somewhat Greece veterans, having visited many of the islands both as 'island hoppers' with rucksacks and no itinerary and then as a family with small children.
Lesbos is amongst one of the nicest Greek Islands we have visited and Petra is a charming place to stay, with lots of good places to eat and a bustling atmosphere. There was plenty to do in Petra and the surrounding area including the beautiful Molyvos and Skala Sikaminia.
Blue Sky is a lovely hotel. There is a great pool which the kids loved (no real shallow end - but even the non-swimmers were happy in arm-bands and rubber rings). George and his family that own and run the hotel are very involved and maintain the highest standards - this is obvious by the state of the place - spotless. The room we had was simple (typically Greek) but clean. My only reservation was that 4 of us shared a room, with our smallest on a fold up bed. There didn't seem to the any connecting room options or two bedroom suites. George was also keen on maintaining an air of calmness and quietly encouraged some more boisterous residents (old and young) to 'keep things down', but this didn’t mean that the place was overly quiet, it was still reasonably lively.
I was prepared for another typical Greek island experience. Lots of great people, some somewhat ramshackle buildings, tavernas and bars and didn’t know what to expect in terms of prices (we’d been to Skiathos – wow that was expensive for Greece!). What we got was a place teaming with history and charm, a bustling pretty village without the ubiquitous concrete reinforcing poles sticking out from lots of unfinished building projects and the cleanest most friendly hotel, with and excellent pool. As for prices – another positive shock. Meals for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) with wine varied from 35 euro to 50 euro for superb food. I would strongly recommend the local Ouzo and the Limnos wine.
By the way if you are looking for the concrete reinforcing poles, there is a small sprawl of ‘typical’ tourist bars and hotels behind Petra beach. Not a visual delight like the old town, but a great place for cheap early evening cheap cocktails and watching the sun go down!

IT was a delightful hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The pool was always clean and the bar provided cold drinks and a friendly face.
Being just 2 minutes away from the local village consisting of a few shops was lovely. The weather was gorgeous and spending time on the beach (also 2 minutes away) made it a brilliant holiday.
The rooms in the hotel had lovely big doors which open out onto fresh air. The towels were always fresh and clean and the bins were emptied daily overall it was a truly brilliant holiday.
