Athina Studios & Apartments

The apartments are basic but clean and functional. Don't expect luxury - the cooker is a basic 2 ring, no TV etc. and the usual small shower - but the apartments all have the essential balcony and fridge and are comfortable enough.
Vassiliki and this part of the island is just fantastic - awesome scenery, brilliant food, lovely harbour, some cool bars if you like that and easily the best beach (for swimming, sunbathing or windsurfing) in this part of the world. The windsurfing and sailing crowd bring a nice upmarket feel to the village and there's no trouble that we came across and it’s definitely not a tacky place. There's a great onshore breeze which strengthens reliably every afternoon and stops the heat getting too oppressive. Moped hire is fine along with car hire and there's loads of island hopping boat trips.
Quiet but trendy and some of the best mountain scenery in Greece if you venture inland.
