Excellent clean apartments run by friendly staff. 150 metrres? More like 50 metres from coach access point! Only 2 minutes walk to Nidri centre yet really quiet at nightime with easy access to all amenities including about 5 minutes to beaches and harbour. Kosmar adjust your brochure!
All bins emptied regularly, very clean, safe and creepy crawly free, best place I have been to in Greece. No English TV but if we wanted that we would have stayed at home yet English snacks available to a high standard at the bar.
Nidri Town is beautiful yet unspoilt by tourism and full of Greek charm, no waterparks or MacDonalds and no rip off bars or restaurants, everything is a fair price and good value.
Kosmar rep very helpful (HI Lucy!) and we recommend kosmars Island Hopping Cruise as you will never forget the barbecue.
We were treated very well by the family at Sofies and will return soon for another great holiday

We have just returned from a very relaxing week in Nidri. We wanted a cheap clean place to stay and that's what we got at Sophies Apartments. There is a good fridge and freezer, adequate air con (5 Euros per day) and a TV (but no English language channels!). Bedding is only changed once a week so I asked for another set of clean sheets. The pool and bar is also okay but as 'beach bums' we only used it once.
Of Nidri itself, the harbour is excellent with numerous restaurants all doing good food (Maistrali was the best followed by Apollon and El Greco). The beach was small and shingle but we never had any problems obtaining sunbeds and parasol (3 Euros per bed). The water sports looked good but we didn't use them (only leaving the beach to have lunch at Toms!).
The main road in Nidri is very busy and can be dangerous at times but once down at the harbour it's a great resort best suited to couples looking for bars and restaurants rather than clubs.
Nidri also appears very popular with the Greeks whom we did find could be quite rude especially if you take an island hopping ferry trip. We got the feeling they resented our presence on the boat! (Nidri Star, slowest of the three ferries and rather overcrowded).
All in all a good relaxing holiday.

we stayed in sophies for three years on the trot and would be going back there again if it wasnt for kosmar holidays folding with the xl group we have enjoyed very happy holidays here ,the apartments were always clean and the pool was lovely couldnt be in a better spot for eveything literally round the corner from the harbour and all the lovely restaurants and bars hire a car if you can and get to see the rest of lefkas its fantastic
