We were in Mykonos year before last also with Kosmar. 1st time just few min from Shirley Beach and was great. Last year was fabulous. I can say that Elena Apartments are really clean, almost every day maid was coming to clean our room and change bedding every 2 days or so.
I really recommend this apartment to everyone. Its very close to Ornos beach which isn’t the best in Mykonos BUT you have Boats which goes to all great beaches like super paradise and Ellia (great beach).
Super market is just across the road with bike hire and cash point. Busses to Mykonos town stops about 30 meters from the apartments and it takes less than 10 min to get to town bus station.
I walked to town few times before and its really nice walking at night but also might be dangerous if some drunk guys drive a bike- there is no sidewalk.
So I’m giving this place 10/10.

Ornos is about 10 minutes from the hive of activity in Mykonos Town and only 15 mins from the airport, though you cannot tell that.
The bay is one of the best beaches on the island, though you can get a boat here that goes around seven other beaches throughout the day.
The sea is safe at Ornos and warm. lots of families use the beach and hiring a pair of sunbeds and parasol for the day was 7.50 euros.
Transport is expensive to hire so stick to the buses. they say they can be unreliable, but we only had one problem during the week, when the bus could not turn around at the bay due to cars parking, so the drivers refused to stop here for the next two hours.
The accommodation was very clean and cleaned each day and towels changed three times during the week. Cooking facilities are simple, so you will need to be creative or go out and eat.
As with most of the island nothing is particularly cheap, but the local beer is the best bargain at 2.80 euros for a 330 or 500ml bottle.
While there Mykonos town is an intriguing place that has not lost its independence to the commercial activity of the island. A visit to Delos is a must for those who like history.

Got this place as part of a 'have a flight, accommodation on arrival' so it was pot luck.
Bit of luck too. Basic accommodation, nothing fancy. But clean and tidy and comfy. Lots of room. Yes, basic kitchen wear (avid chefs should bring stuff to be on the safe side), but we had a pen knife so were able to open cans and make some very nice pasta dishes with tuna and the like.
At the end of the summer, my only other advice would be two bring two other things. A wind shield (the beaches do get quite windy, though not cold by any means) and some form of gentle anti mosquito. There was always "one" mossie flying around the room 'which had to be dealt with' before going to bed. A candle type would have probably sufficed.
Great location, great proximity to the Mykonos town, some really nice cafe/restaurants, really lively and friendly atmosphere the Island over.
Do go!
