" Clean, well maintained apartments.... "

Clean, well maintained apartments. Only 2 quibbles, the fridge was still being defrosted in the room on both visits, and we had the rooms right by the road, but as it turned out, it wasn’t noisy at night.
Friendly owners. Room cleaned on a regular basis. 2 minutes to the beach and bus stop, and the taxi boat that takes you to all the beaches, plus there are a couple of good bars opposite the beach that draw a mainly Greek crowd, which I prefer to drunken Brits!
There is also a brilliant restaurant on the beach called Orno, the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is definitely chilled out! Handy place to stay, away from town, but 10 minutes by bus when you are in the mood!

Ornos is probably the best resort to stay in as all the boats to the other beaches go from here and there are regular buses to Mykonos Town and Shirley Valentine Bay until just after midnight. Taxis are around and about but there aren't many on the island and you're likely to have to share with someone going in your direction - wherever that may be!
There are plenty of restuarants and bars in Ornos if you fancy a quieter night that the hustle and bustle of Mykonos Town but it's hard to avoid not going as it is such a fantastic place. There are lots of great restaurants and bars but I would definitely recommend a visit to Little Venice and a cocktail at sunset. Fabulous holiday...we'll be coming back!
