Kleoni Club Apartments

On arrival at airport met by taxi which was organised by apartments owners.
At the apartment we were met by our hosts and made to feel really at home. This was the theme for the duration of our stay which made it really enjoyable.
Our accommodation was clean comfortable and homely.
Plenty to do in the area, whether it is visiting local sites, restaurants, beach or just relaxing at the pool side and sampling the beverages.
Quality holiday.

I arrived at Athens airport to be met by a very nice taxi driver bearing a board with my name on it ( sent by Eve Iouannou the owner of Kleoni Apartments.) the taxi ride was about two hours.
I arrived at my maisonette to find it very clean and more than adequate for my needs. The family where there to greet me which I found really welcoming. The pool bar and restaurant where well maintained and served a varied selection of drinks and food all at very good value for money. A member of the family is always on hand to assist you if you need help, be it directions to some of the great historical site, local transport, other restaurants.
The resort its self is very friendly and there is plenty to do for everyone, whether it is a beach holiday you want or a cultural holiday or you can easily combine both.
Definitely a place to go again, in fact I am already booked up for next Easter and Summer. So maybe I will see you there.

On arrival, Kosmar representative was friendly. Transfer from Kalamata airport to Tolon was 3 hours (not mentioned in brochure). Accommodation was opposite picture above by pool and consisted of 1 kitchenette (1 large and 1 small electric ring for cooking and fridge), bathroom (no window or air vents), 1 living room consisting of 1 table and 1 settee, which pulled out to a bed. Upstairs gained via flimsy built staircase was 1 bedroom, adequate clothing storage and 2 balconies one with a view to the sea via a few terrestrial aerials. And the other a view to the pool. Downstairs also had a small fairly enclosed patio area outside and nice and cool in shade.
I would not recommend anybody to this accommodation for the following reasons: apartment was in a very poor state of cleanliness, both upstairs and downstairs, rooms were unswept and dusty.
Balcony was dusty and had remains of old crisps from previous holidaymaker, 1 pillow case had two red stains on it.
We had cold water for showers and washing up for 3 days, when I complained it was rectified by fitting a relevant fuse by fuse board but I was told to switch water on and off prior to using shower. This involves a person physically getting involved with the fuse mains box, which I disliked intensely. Downstairs was considerably damp which caused bad odour and a very very heavy influx of mosquitoes. My partner was bitten approximately 30 times. Yes we counted them and used relevant repellents) we even paid extra for air conditioning(which is not included in the package price) and this eased the problem a bit.
No kettle in kitchenette, therefore a cup of tea must be boiled on single ring this takes about 10 minutes).
The settee was filthy and we did not dare sit on it. When going upstairs, can be tricky as. Bed is very near to staircase and in my mind is dangerous and would recommend moving beds to help falling down stairs in this area. Beach is 5 minutes away. People are friendly and lots of restaurants and you are spoilt for choice. Small uphill walk back to accommodation. Takes about 5 minutes (sober) or 7 minutes drunk) best of luck
If you have already booked this one. We did and regretted it. We would still go back to Greece as we love it however NOT to Kleoni club.

I'd like to speak about my holidays in Kleoni Club this summer. It's very cosy and attractive small hotel. We were satisfacted by hospitable stuff of hotel and very tasty Greece cuisine.
Our apartment consisted of bathroom and 2 rooms: bedroom and kitchen. I think it may be named as home hotel. Separate patios, 2 small buildings, restaurant, bar and swimming pool - it's the complex of convenient and home atmosphere. My son didn’t want to leave the hotel some days and swam in the pool all time.
Great thanks for Mr Mikhalis and his charming wife Eve, and for Irina and her beautiful daughter Oxana. These people made our holidays unforgettable and significant. I can say with sure that we’ll spend our future holidays in Greece in Kleoni Club exactly.
