On the hillside above the village, this strikingly designed property in two separate blocks, either side of its swimming pool, with great views over Tolon, has a small reception not 24 hrs, its own swimming pool and small snack bar serving drinks, open until late. It contains a studio, and one and two-bedroom apartments, most of which can sleep an extra person child on a bed-chair or bed-settee. The double bed apartment for 2, and the studio are on the ground floor. All rooms have air conditioning paid for locally. The Amarylis is about a 12 minute walk up a steep hill from the beach and main resort road, so is unsuitable for guests with walking difficulties. There may be some occasional passing road noise. This is the second time I have been to these apartments, they are, in my opinion the best apartments in Tolon. The only disadvantage is they are at the top of a hill, but due to this the views are absolutely breathtaking, which makes the walk uphill well worth it. There is however a bus stop right next to the apartments so you can get the bus into the resort.
The apartments are very clean, modern and spacious-probably one of the best apartments I have stayed in, in Greece. I can not fault them. They have air conditioning and full cooking facilities. The pool area is lovely and the staff are great.
The resort of Tolon is lovely, there is the main strip, which is fairly long and is lined with shops and tavernas, there are also many tavernas right on the beach, and even one which goes out onto a pier into the sea (fab!!) we ate there many a night. The resort itself is still fairly Greek which makes it special.
There are many places to visit near to Tolon and it is a good central point. Naflion is just spectacular and is a must see. Athens is only 2 hours away, and is well worth a visit. The Corinth Canal is approx 1 hour away.
All in all, it is a fab place to visit, im 26 and me and my fiance went with friends for 2 weeks and I didnt get bored. Its just lovely, its not a lively resort but there is plenty to do!

Myself and my wife have stayed at the Amaryllis three times in as many years. We love it and have become very good friends with the owners and have made many more friends in this very pleasant and friendly resort.
I would recommend Tolon to any one and also the Amaryllis also Kosmar reps do a great job too there is everything you want and need in Tolon.

Beautiful Apartments, breath taking views across the bay, been to Greece on numerous occasions covering many of the islands this resort out weighs the lot very unspoilt, very well situated for travelling to sites of interest, regular bus services. Very friendly people that’s why we have booked for 2 weeks next year instead of 1, did not want to come home.

Second time l had been to Tolon, 1st time in these apartments, took my son and his fiancé. The walk from the village road is steep and not for people with walking difficulties, but the apartments are worth the hike. Beautiful and clean, spacious with fabulous views of the sea. The pool and poolside bar were quiet and very pleasant for a drink after coming off the beach and walking up the hill. The owner was very friendly. We are going again this year.

Tolo's the perfect base for exploring ancient Greece, Olympia four hours away, Mycenae, Epidavrus, Tiryns, all nearby, Nafplio is a delight! Perfect beach for kids, friendly tavernas - turn right at the main road and head towards harbour for TSIROS taverna on the left for probably the best genuine Greek family-run taverna food you'll ever find!
But give beachside restaurants a miss, perfect location as usual equates to below average grub.
Third visit to Tolo and we'll hopefully be back again one day.
