Fotini Apartments

Stayed for two weeks beginning of July at Fotini Studios in Thassos Town.
Wonderful accommodation (10 studios), small but adequate room with twin beds, kitchen with two rings, no oven but kettle provided (unusual for Greece). Spotlessly clean studio also had T.V., hairdryer, safe (15 Euros for 1 week, 20 Euros for 2 weeks) air-con 6 Euros per night (really needed as temp was 24 -29 at night). Beds changed twice and towels three times a week. Small pool (with music playing all day).
5 mins from ferry landing, 15 mins town centre, 25 mins old harbour. Excellent town beach 25 min walk. Sunbeds free as long as you buy a drink. All restaurants we tried were good, especially Symi, Mouses, Il Posto.
Good bus service, many nice beaches especially Skala Potamia, Psili Ammos and smaller beach at Aliki, did not like larger beach at Aliki as mobbed with coach and boat trippers.
Hired car for 2 days (Potos car hire 25 euros/day) well worth it to get to mountain villages and beaches further afield. Liked Maries, Theologos and Panagia villages and the monastery.
Sunset from the harbours in Thassos town was amazing. Walk up to Acropolis well worth it for views over town, also good views from small church on headland. We will return to Thassos and Fotini Studios again.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Fotini Studios just outside Thassos town.
The studio that we had was spotless. The owners and their family made us feel so welcome and everyone staying at the time said that they really helped to make their holiday special. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and again spotlessly clean. Would most definitely recommend and will be going back this year again if I can get booked.
