The appartment was very clean and quiet large towels and bedding changed twice a week air conditioning free, there is a small poolside bar but unfortunately there was never anyone behind it and they do not serve any kind of food. Pleasent surroudings and only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Be prepared for quiet a long wait for the ferry from Skiathos to Skopelos. Skopelos is a very beautiful island worth hiring a car.

Really nice studios in pretty gardens only a short walk to the harbour and town centre. Nice spacious accomodation with air con and mini oven in studios. Loads of hot water too. Cleaned every day and any problems dealt with qickly. Cherry trees and apricots and lemon trees in the grounds, and the owners and staff were really pleasant too. No complaints and would go back again without any hesitation. Only a short walk to supermarkets and bakery, and Platanos Square (low centre of town) easily reached.
Skopelos town is clean and very pretty though the streets are steep, its worth the climb just to look around, and at the top the views over the harbour are lovely.

the last minute change to our accomodation was avery pleasant surprise. the location IS only 10 minutes walk from the main town. the walk along is always interesting as there are donkeys, hens ,cockerals and of course the friendly locals along the way..
the accomodation was everything you could want, we had a two bedded studio that had all the basics, cooker, fridge, tv, balcony, bathroom with shower. our appartment was ground level right at the pool area. it was cleaned every couple of days. the rooms where cleaned on the 3rd day, they were spotless. even the towels smelled lovely and were soft. the family live on the premises so were available if needed. there was a bar facility at the pool but was closed as we were just out of season. the sun was over the pool from early morning until at least 8 pm.
the town has fresh bakeries for bread and cakes... to walk from one end to the other takes approx 25 mins. along the way there are plenty of restaurants and tavernas with a good choice of menu.the prices for beer and wine are abit more expensive along the front.it was relaxing sitting watching the boats coming in and out. regret not taking licence to see more of the island.
