Much improved compared to previous comments. Rooms cleaned almost daily. Pool area with lots of new beds and large umbrellas. Bar still expensive. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties. A really nice ambience built in olive and almond grove, trees restrict view. We would recommend it highly BUT is rather a drag to get to Skopelos as ferry bookings are timed to allow for possible flight delays ( our return flight to Newcastle was delayed 4 hrs so door to door was 18 hrs). Probably would not go again because of travelling time and NOT because of any probs with accommodation, which was really good.

Very basic style apartments, poor cleaning and change of bed linen and towels (once a week)
Pool was very crowded and sun beds were very sparse and broken. The pool also looked like it could have done with a good clean as the water was very murky.
Temperatures were in the 40's and once again umbrella's were few and far between.
Although these apartments were well away from the town of Skopelos the noise carries up from the town so during the night you can here all the noisy bars and the ferries.
The views from the apartments is nothing like to brochure which was another let down.
The best apartments were reserved for the Greeks and Germans, they had the air-conditioning, televisions and telephones.

After travelling 18 hours door to door, these apartments were a big let down. The brochure paints a great place but when you see it in the light of day you will be wishing you had gone elsewhere. You do not get a TV, fantastic view, telephone, or air conditioning unless you are Greek or German, as these rooms with all the gadgets appeared to be reserved for them.
The rooms were very basic and somewhat shabby with clean towels and bedding provided once a week! The pool was okay but again needed a good clean. A big let down were the sun beds, there were not enough and most were broken. While we were there the temperature was around 44 during the day and 31 at night with no air conditioning.
Other annoying things about the Evlalia apartments were the owner had a dog chained up in the grounds that barked constantly all night and every night. A lot of people complained but all the owner did was chain the dog up in another part of the grounds but it still barked all night. As the weather is so hot at this time of year we slept or tried to, with the windows open but as the noise from the bars and ferries carried up from the town it was almost impossible.
The pool bar was reasonably priced but again poorly stocked. Overall, these apartments are not worth travelling to considering the time you spend hanging around ferry ports and airports. Our advice is go somewhere else on Skopelos as its a very pretty and green island if you can stand the time it takes to get there, otherwise stay at home.

Be prepared for great views hard walking up to your room but well worth it. No air-con so it can get very hot in your room. Also cleaners do not always do, as they should i.e. clean.
Take a bus and explore the island- terrific swimming locations. Eat off the beaten path for a better meal.
The swimming pool is the best I have tried for a long time and the owners are helpful to all and speak good English.

Just returned from a 2 centre holiday, our first stay week was at the Evlalia studios - Skopelos, we were very disappointed with our accommodation, you could not do much in the way of self catering apart from boil water, the apartment had very little crockery, what we did have did not match.
During the week our bins were emptied daily, we did not get any change of towels or bed linen, the apartments were not cleaned during our stay, we did find ants coming into our apartment so I found myself sweeping and mopping our floors.
The pool bar did not open once during our stay, despite the fridges being fully stocked, it was a real shame as we spent a lot of time by the really nice pool as the temperature was hitting 47 degrees.
By comparison our 2nd week was at the Elena apartments in Alonnissos, these were lovely clean apartments, and you were able to cook.

I read the reviws about the proerty after booking and thought what have i booked.
Arrived and was very plesantly supprised, very friendly famly run appartments. cleaned daily, alot better than other places i have stayed in Greece, and with a very nice quiet pool area, walking distance was from town was fine but up a slite hill.
If your one for your five star hotels with all the bell's and whistles and no local culture, dont be expecting that, What you will get is a brilliant traditional Greek holiday experiace. The appartments and town are fantastic, if ou are lookng for a relaxing holiday.
Would deffinatly go back
