We can recommend Skiathos as a holiday destination, but would urge people to avoid Filia apartments. The standard and location of the accommodation, along with the sullen staff, made our stay unpleasant. They only give a smile when you are spending money at their bar. We... more

Stayed at Filia Apartments in Troulos. Ran by very friendly couple. Very basic rooms although very clean and spacious. Cooking facilities non-existent although weren’t too bothered as ate at local restaurants every night. Pool excellent. Kids well happy. Hired a jeep to... more

Wow! I had the best holiday I have ever had! The owners make you feel so welcome and the island itself is beautiful! I loved every minute of it! I would recommend Troulos beach of Koukanaris, as Koukanaris gets too busy! However, if you have walking difficulties the hills... more

We have had several holidays here, including when my son Graeme married Laura in Skiathos. Filia and Christopher could not have been more helpful and friendly. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Skiathos. Filia does the best egg and chips and poached egg on toast in town.... more
