just returned from this hotel what a good hotel wide mix of people here from young to disabled and every thing in between
very clean and good food pool great and entertainment every evening
the only down side is its very remote with nothing apart from a bar by the small (covered in seaweed} beach
if you hire a car found cheapest was the sixt desk in lobby but make sure it returned with the same amount of fuel or you will be charged a refuelling charge

My 3 friends & I were moved to The Blue Bay when staff in our original hotel went on strike. We were very impressed with the lovely location cleanliness & friendliness of staff, also the efficient way we were moved in after arriving after 9pm. The majority of people transferred were very satisfied with the Blue Bay. The food was excellent, plenty of choice & the waiter service very good. We didn't bother with the evening entertainment as not our cup of tea just played cards in the seated area. The only down-side was the mozzie's but being so near the water you have to expect that & protect yourselves. We would definitely go there again.

I have just returned from a week at blue bay resort and fell in love instantly. Its a beautiful place with spectacular views. On our entrance there was someone to take our cases to the room which made a good first impression! Our room was clean and a maid would come to clean and make the beds every day. The pool area consists of two pools a small one for youngsters and a much larger one for adults. We had no problem getting sunbeds every day and there were plenty to spare stored. The entertainment was brilliant with bingo and different activities each night, with music quizs kareoke dance shows comedy nights and more. Throughout the day there were games and competitions to get involved in. The food had so much choice each night and a range of english food for children if they didnt want to eat the other food. Morning noon and night could not fault it! Out only downfall was the mozzys! As we arrived early in the morning while it was still dark, when we walked to our room i was bitten quite alot! But i went to their shop which is two minutes away from the resort and bought the local stuff as i found it was alot better than the stuff we had already got! And they hardly touched us again! And the second thing is wasps! If your afraid of them then this is not the holiday for you as there are loads! Which put me off my drinks from the car because they love sweet stuff! Also stray cats which are no harm at all but if your allergic then again might not be the place for you. All staff are lovely and you get to make friends with the majority of them as you see them every day. Finally one last thing is if you suffer from travel sickness ensure your dosed up before you get on the coach journey to and from the airport, the roads are very narrow and hilly! Missing it already!

Myself, my husband and two teenagers have just arrived home from Corfu, where we have had the most fabulous weeks holiday staying at the Blue Bay Beach Resort.
We found the food was good as there was much variety and we felt all diets and requirements were well catered for.
Yes at times there was some mosquito’s during the evening but I hardly think that the hotel can be held responsible for that.
We found the entertertainment was good and there plenty to get involved with if you wanted to make the effort and all the entertainment team were enthusiastic and carful to include all nationalities staying at the hotel.
This is our second visit to the hotel and we have, and will continue to highly recommend it.

I have just returned from Blue Bay Escape, I went on my own with my 2 boys and we all had a fantastic week there, The hotel is in a lovely location in the north of corfu, The hotel was very clean and so are the rooms as there is maid service every day, the staff their are very helpful and polite, the food was also fantastic and was available all day with a wide choice of foods. The pools which the boys were in all week are overlooking the sea, my youngest also attended their kids club a few times and said he had a fab time, there are plenty of beds by the pool, we had no problem all week getting some and it was busy there. We will defintely be going back next year for 2 weeks this time. The only small problem with Corfu is the mozzies at night which are easily dealt with using mozzie spray which I would recommend you take with you as it is very deal there to buy with same with suntan lotion etc.

We have just returned from a week stays at this hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful location and is very clean. I would not class this hotel as a four star, the food was rubbish unless you like fish fingers and chicken nuggets and chips day and night. The hotel is plagued with mossies so be sure to take plenty of repellant. The entertainment at this hotel is rubbish! mostly conducted in German and unless you want to play bingo every night there isn't alot going for it. Yes the hotel is generally swarmed with Germans, we had to get up at 6 am every morning to get a sunbed as towels were already placed. We requested a Sea view room (which we paid for) however ended up in a basement room. The only up side to this hotel is that it is clean, lovely location and friendly staff. We will not be going back to this hotel.

My Husband & I stayed at the Blue Bay for 1 week in June 2010. We had read the reviews & were a little apprehensive. There was no need to worry, it was fantastic. The room was simple but spotlessly clean with maid service every day. The pool area was great. This is where we ate lunch & could have snacks such as pizza & hot dogs all day long. The main restaurant was in the main building, this is where breakfast & dinner was served. Staff there were very hospitable. The food was plenty & varied every night. I cannot speak for night time entertainment because we did not partake. We like to go to bed early when on holiday. We would definitely go back again. The resort is very quiet but we hired a car for 3 days and spent time travelling the Island which is beautiful.

We have just returned from Blue Bay, this was our 2nd visit. We went as a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children.
The hotel was fantastic, just as we remembered it, staff very friendly, hotel entertainment team good. All outside areas of the hotel were immaculate and constantly being looked after. We hired a car direct from the hotel too, and even a birthday cake for my daughter.
The hotel is within a few minute walks from 2 beaches. There are 2 swimming pools, one for the little ones, but even the large one is not too deep. There is a large selection of food, and they cater for every need, from one child who eats chips with eveything to another who would try all the themed nights foods.
We will definately return to Blue Bay again. The only negative is the mozzies, but they are most places you visit, so don't let that put you off.

We have just returned from blue bay escape resort and we had booked for 11 nights. The flight out was brill and whenwe landed and went through to luggage reclaim, the airport only has two convayers and there was about 3 other flights just landed at the same time. Anyway we got our bags andwe got on the transfer coach we was on the coach 3 hours and 30mins which the transfer should have only took 2 hours. Then finally we arrived at the hotel. We checked in and the porter fetched our bags to our room and we went to explore the hotel. The staff in the main resteraunt are very nice. But the 2nd day in we sat round the pool and to our surpise they served the food at side of the pool from a little hatch on a buffet but as i got towards the end of my stay i noticed bird nests and cats the nests was above the tables and the food hatch where you can see dead flies being chucked from the nests down towrds where the food was and all over tables as well. Then the cats starting hanging around people for food and people was feeding them, but as i dropped some food the resteraunt manager can be abit stern with other people. The rooms are very big and cleaned every day. Has we learned that this hotel had been down graded from a 4 star to a 3 star hotel. The hotel water the wine down as well a the pop. There is not very much choice of drink for all inclsive andif you do not like koum kaquat, ozuo and vodka you are basically screwed becuase as we wanted a malibu cost us 5 euros each. the food is very good plenty of choice but if you go for 2 weeks the food is repeted for that same week.
the desserts are brill. The shuttle bus has advertised in the brouchers free to our surprise we had to pay for it 4 euros return which is not bad but its not free and there is a 2 bars and adjenct to the hotel. The all inclsive bar shuts at 23.00 hours and after you have to pay for your drinks. We booked the holiday thomas cook and they really made the hotel sound great but theres nothing really to do you are really cut off from anywhere. but i think thomas cook as got the rating wrong on this hotel. The entertainers are great wih the adults but with the kids they are rubbish they will not let kids join in activites and when they do quizzes and kids take part they give them champagne but kids will not drink that so the children feel that they have not won anything. When you read reviews that there are not germans its a total lie because the hotel is full of them and when the all tours entertainers do announcements in german and the shows are nerrated in german. but the animation team are fab with there entertainment.

My sister and I visited this resort on 18th May 2010 for one week. The hotel is quite isolated but the food was lovely with so much choice. The staff were very friendingly and helpful. The accommodation was small but was cleaned every day. I would definately recommend this resort and though it was value for money.

this will be the 3rd time we have been to th bluebay, we didnt go last year as we had a young baby and the flight times are a bit long. we went to majorca instead to the holiday village and it was crap!!. were really loking forward to returning to the bluebay this june. the hotel is spotless, there are mozzies at night sometimes but if you light the candles then you will be ok.this is a great holiday if you like to do nothing!! very relaxing but theres enough to keep the kids entertained!
