A superb family run hotel, which is spotlessly clean and serves excellent food. We have been returning to this hotel for 5 years now and it just gets better.
The hotel is set up a hillside with magnificent views. A free minibus services operates 6 times a day into the town. The evenings are ideal for relaxing and chatting to friends (new and old - many return year after year).
We shall hopefully return again next year.

When we booked we did not realise the resort of Katsarou was so far inland being nearly 2 kilometres from the nearest beach which was a disappointment.
There is a free bus service 6 times a day which is some respect was quite restricting especially in the evenings. It is in fact set in the mountains amongst the pine trees with views of the coastline. Very quiet and serene but a hiring a car is certainly required here as very little nearby. The Paradise Hotel is family run with a excellent swimming pool and has its own restaurant which was OK but because of the lack of alternatives we ate in most evenings which became boring.
One advantage was because of its elevated position the night temperatures were cooler. The rooms are nice but simply furnished. Overall nice accommodation, pleasant position but far too quiet and cut off for us. Basically it was the wrong choice which was partially our own fault.

Just returned from yet another fantastic holiday at this hotel, this year we took our 2 sons aged 2 and 3 months after having reservations about taking such a young baby. Nothing is too much trouble for this family especially Dimitrios who also has 2 children roughly the same age. Even though he was extremely busy running the hotel he still found time to warm my son’s bottles and help out in any way he could.
The hotel is immaculately maintained and the rooms are kept spotless and are cleaned every day. Admittedly the hotel is set off the road but this is truly not a problem as the hotel bus runs into town at least 6 times a day and is driven by Billy who is one of the nicest fellows that I have ever met.
The food is second to none and we ate there most nights out of choice rather than necessity, trust me when I say that the veal liver is to die for! And the menu is very reasonably priced.
The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing with plenty of loungers so much so that you can actually hear the blood rushing through your veins.
I have travelled the world and stayed in several 5 star resorts but in terms of hospitality and service they don't come close to The Paradise. Next year will be my 10th visit and over the years we have made many friends who we often meet again and again at the hotel. Please don't take my word, just pack your bags and go to this place-you won't regret it and I guarantee you will return because for us it's like coming home.
