We have stayed here 5 times now and to be honest wouldn't stay anywhere else. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and a 15 min stroll to the old town, rooms are clean and spacious but what makes this hotel so special is the staff.
The same staff are there every year and are all lovely - the week we stayed there where 120 'Repeat Customers' which say's it all really.
The pool is too small but with the beach just round the corner who cares and we prefer to stroll around Old Town on an evening rather than sit and watch 'Hotel Entertainment'.
We love it and think it's great value for money!

We arrived only to be told that there was no room as the hotel was overbooked. We later found out this was the same for most of the british people. We were transferred to the Hotel Lavita for the night which was supposedly a 3 star even though we had booked a 4 star. When we went to the Petit Palais we had a room with a sea view after much persuasion to the hotel manager.
The room was ok, food was not good it was the same everyday plus a few new things but mostly the day before leftovers, ok if you like spaghetti everyday. Also there was octopus, mash potato like semolina and desserts the same every day thank god for the pizza. The male bar staff were rude and served men first before the women. Wouldn't go to this hotel again as not really a four star and the food too repetitive. Disappointing.

Second visit to Rhodes, first time Rhodes town. Very impressed with resort, hotel in excellent position for all amenities.
Staff very courteous and efficient, food varied and a very good standard. Rooms spotlessly clean. Would stay again.

Hotel was very clean and staff efficient and friendly. We had the same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 7 days - very repetitive.
Men were expected to wear long trousers for dinner (which is not stated on the website), if you did not you would not be allowed in (ladies could wear anything!). Pool very small and sun went off it at about 15.30 each day, which was disappointing. Location was great, bars and shops very near and trips to other islands by boat very close, and good prices.
Not good value for money considering the food and the poor drinks choices and the lack of evening entertainment.

We have stayed at the Petit Palais hotel for two weeks AI holidays. The hotel is rather NOT 4star, but certainly it is somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.
Hotel rooms are large, kept clean, comfortably furnished (don't expect orthopaedic beds), Aircon and fridge are advantage. Some rooms (as was the ours) overlook other balconies at the rear side and you can't really open the curtains and doors (didn't matter to us), but if you're lucky the front of the hotel has got nice balconies.
Swimming pool is small and the area around as well, but comparable to other hotels and beaches are nearby (you can chose from two beaches, one with calm sea, the other one with waves). Not very suitable for children (very welcomed by us).
Lovely sitting outside the bar from where you can sit, watch time passing by and observe what is going on. Staff is rude because customers are often rude to them. Little niceties and they smile back.
The resort is smashing, within 20 min walk you can reach the walls of the Old town, or a harbour with excursion boats/ferries to many islands.
Food was quite good, not too much fat, little bit repetitive, but we enjoyed it. Some dinner meals were exquisite. We haven't really used the AI snacks, but their storage, sandwiched next to the bar, partially on sun, was not welcoming.
Considering the price we paid, we were very happy and if we find the same deal we will likely return to explore more from the island and the area around. Jeep Safari day excursion is cool.

Clean hotel and room spacious with good decor. We were all inclusive and the food was fine although we tended to eat out in the evening as there are some lovely restaurants. I was a little unhappy that Diet Coke was not on the all inclusive list and that full sugar coke was...
The pool area was clean and tidy but a little on the small side. If you're looking for entertainment, then you'll be disappointed as the reception/bar area is quite small and not lots going on. However, there is so much to do in Rhodes you wouldn't really want to hang around the hotel.
Take the boat trip to Lindos - well worth a look! Good location overall and we enjoyed our stay.

A wonderfully clean hotel. Most of the staff were very cheerful and helpful. The food was good with plenty of choice, with the exception of snacks at the bar which consisted only of ham salad rolls.
My only criticism is that it is the most disabled un-friendly hotel I’ve visited. Not a handrail in sight. The toilets for the bar and lounge were down a steep flight of stairs. The ramps at the entrance were like ski runs. I cannot get down to lie on a sun lounger but there were no chairs round the pool. When my husband asked for a chair for me he was refused even a chair out of the dining room. Luckily, I had taken a wheelchair so I had to sit in this each time round the pool.
I cannot have been the only person who needed to sit in a chair.
