Babis Studios & Apartments

We have just returned from pefkos having spent 2 glorious weeks relaxing by the pool of the babis apt,what a great place to stay ,all the other holiday makers were lovely people we felt right at home from day 1,,the rooms where clean and had everything we needed for our stay,rooms cleaned every day apart from a sunday first class service from georgia who was a lovely lady,and carol who runs the place all day and never seems to stop was fantastic,the owner who we seen at night was very freindly and a nice guy,they all count do enough for us ,we got married while there at st pauls bay,which is very beutiful,staying at the babis made our wedding even more special thankyou all who where there,,would recomend the babis and the town of pefkos to everyone looking for a great holiday ,we would go back again knowing we would have a great holiday.,Harry&Donna Greatrex.

Just come back from a fab two weeks at the Babis. Our two boys had a great time in the pool and mostly had it to themselves. Appartment was clean fresh linen and towels almost daily. Carole was so helpful and friendly, great relaxed holiday and good value. Have just booked for next year, just love Pefkos.

Just back from holiday staying at the babis Apartments in Pefkos.
We stayed in a large apartment which was very clean and tidy.
We had three balconys for each part of the day with good views.
The staff were fantastic and very helpful and I would happy saying to any one to go to this accomodation.
There was a short walk to the beach cutting through the feild opposite.
The town its self great meals and the people were Great.

Just back from a brilliant 2 week holiday to Pefkos, staying at the babis and had a great time.
The rooms are basic but very clean. We received fresh towels and bedding everyday except sundays (the cleaner works very hard and deserves a day off).
Carol who works at the babis during the day is lovely and cant do enough to help, she also keeps you well fed with a mean fry up :)
a tip if you are arriving during the night at babis....the air con is not ready to turn on( costs 50 euros per week) and there will be no water in the fridge for your arrival so come prepared.
The pool is very nice and relaxing, plenty sun loungers to go around and is ideal for sunbathing in peace.
The babis is slightly out the way from the main strip but is only a 10-15 min gentle stroll away, and the hill is not as big as you might think from reading previous posts.
Most bars and restraunts are busy with a really family feel to them. The nearest restaraunt to the babis, Nikolas, is very nice and the food is excellent. Best bars for me were the rock bar and jasmine where you can stuff your face with lovely tasty crepes too.
The other towns round about are very accesable by local bus and a trip to the waterpark in Faliraki is recomended. There is also a free bus that takes you there which takes about an hour and a half but beware....it is very busy!!
all in all, had a great time in pefkos at the babis. would definitely recomend to anyone planning to go.

Having been to Pefkos previously several years ago, we already new that the resort was family friendly and relatively quiet with a good selection of restuarants and bars. We booked the Babis Studios at the far end of Pefkos because they had good reviews (and were cheap!) from people who had appeared to have been there on numerous occassions. (I will state that we were looking for a quiet holiday to relax and weren't interested in kids clubs, evening entertainment etc). The apartment we had was two bedrooms overlooking the pool from one balcony and with views towards the sea from another (there were three balconies in total!!). It was basic (greek ones have always been!) but extremely clean (The towels and sheets were changed 6 times in the week we were there).
The pool area was fairly quiet (even in August when we went) with no huge rush to get a sunbed, there were always some available. The pool was superbly clean (cleaned by Valentis the owner every evening), and the kids had a fantastic time!.
Through the day the bar serving snacks, light meals and drinks is run by Carol who was absolutely fantastic and made every effort to get to know people (she also cooked a mean fried breakfast!! of which I ate far too many throughout the week!!).
The bar shut at around 5-6 and reopened at about 9pm which worked out great for us as we were able to get out for a nice meal and then come back and have a few quiet drinks around the poolside. Valentis runs the bar in the evening and is a great chap and managed to get live football on (only a small TV ladies so you won't need to worry) and even connect my iphone to his parents wifi!!.
Overall, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing break, with superbly clean apartments, then Babis Studios are ideal. Highly recommended and we would certainly revisit.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Babis apartments in June of this year and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is nice and quiet, yet close enough to the centre of Pefkos and is handy for a couple of nice Tavernas. The apartments themselves are clean and perfectly adequate for your stay. The towels and linen are regularly changed and the room was cleaned every day......Christina the cleaner even did our washing up on a couple of occasions which we certainly didn't expect! Valentis (the owner) and Carol who runs the bar are very helpful, friendly and informative and a real asset to the Babis. We found the pool and surrounding area to be very clean at all times, and presumably so did others, as we had regular visitors from other apartments using the facilities! (as is the way in Greece)
The beaches are easily accessed from the location as is the town and Lindos is just a short taxi ride away, but if you are after a quiet relaxed holiday in clean and friendly surroundings then this is the place for you, I would recommend it to anyone, we loved it and will be returning again next year......what better recommendation can I give?

Good clean apparments, staff helpful, good atmosphere around the pool. The apparments are situated in a relaxed area, but the middle of Pefkos is only 10 mins walk away.
I woulk recomend these apparments to anyone who wanted a relaxing holiday, but with a lively area close to hand if required.

Have just returned from a fanatastic holiday at Babis. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very large. Carol the lady who runs the bar during the day did everything she could to make sure our holiday was excellent. She is a real asset to the Babis !! the apartment was cleaned everyday by Christina , with clean towels 6 days out of 7. The owner Valantis ran the bar in the evening.  Babis is in a nice quiet location, about 5 mins from sandy beach, 10 mins from Pefkos.  Weather was really hot and we were glad of air con.We would definitely recommend and return to Babis

We have just returned from Pefkos staying at the Babis apartments although basic they are of a very high standard the towels and linen were changed regulary its kept very clean.
When we arrived we were made very welcome by the owner and his assistant Carol who did everything they could to help us.
Carol especially did all she could to help us when we had problems with our return journey.
Only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the town where there are plenty of Taverners and Bars.We especially liked our local Taverner Nikolas highly recomened for traditional Greek food and atmosphere.
Would recomend a trip into Rhodes old town but the bus service is a problem so we booked a trip through Zorbas agent and was very impressed with the service.
Hope to go back again next year.

We have just come back from 2 weeks holiday staying at the Babis in a studio - lovely room, very spacious just for the two of us and even though we were 'pool side' the patio outside was big enough to feel you werent that close to the pool - the room was cleaned for 6 out of 7 days, more clean towels than i have ever had - the cleaner is a lovely lady, tries very hard with her english and always has a smile - the pool was always lovely and clean and though not a large pool, it was definitely big enough, there is also a baby pool which was nice to laze in! it is shared with the Yannis studios (across the road) but in the height of the season, it never got very busy - there is just one thing - the pool bar - i never got the owner's name but he is missing a huge opportunity as it closes at 4/4.30pm and doesnt re-open until 9/9.30 at night (if at all) and the lady running the pool bar could do with cheering up a bit, this didnt effect us too much but it did other quests staying there but apart from that - the babis is a great place to base yourself
