Arrived in the middle of the night greeted with an A4 sheet on block 2 of the hotel telling us our room number. Sadly we went to reception first and spent half hour messing about in the dark. This, however was the only snag of the whole holiday. The view from our room was... more

Absolutely brilliant. we arrived at the hotel at 5am following a flight from Newcastle which arrived an hour early. Thomas Cook airlines have a lot of work to catch up with other tour operators they certainly pack you in, still the Pantheon has the best views I have ever... more

we arrived at the apartments in a thunderstorm in the dark and we were greeted by the wonderful Janet who runs the apartment with her husband Panos and his family. When we awoke the next morning we opened the curtains to the most spectacular views across the bay. The rooms... more

We stayed for two weeks at the end of October 2007 and had a really relaxing holiday. Being the end of the season the resort was quiet, the lovely sandy beaches were also quiet with the sea being warmer than the swimming pool! The accomodation was more than satisfactory,... more

My partner and I have just returned from a week at the Pantheon and felt obliged to write a review to say how good our week was. Like me, you have probably been reading all sorts of conflicting reviews about this accommodation, so I would like to add my (pretty reasoned)... more

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Pantheon Studios and had a fabulous time. The owners are fantastic and go out of their way (especially Jan - who's English) to ensure your stay is perfect. The studios are fairly small but comfortable and come equipped with... more

We spent two weeks at this wonderful place; the rooms were very basic but what more do you want on your holiday? If you are like us spending most of your time out of your room enjoying the views and sunshine, this is the place to stay. It is run by a lovely family who could... more

it was lovely
mine and my partners first holiday as a couple,he had been before and wanted to go back.the views from our room were gorgeous, the whole area was clean, tidy and friendly. i hope the same people own it because we are hoping to take our baby this year, hope it doesnt change and stays quiet and a family place to stay in.
Loved this hotel
Super hotel. Is run by a lovely family, who make you feel very welcome, and you leave feeling that you have known them for years. The apartments are small, but clean and practical. The food is beautiful (home-made greek and english dishes). The views are stunning. Overall, the holiday made our stay in Kos fab !!
Just The Views.....
The best apartments we have ever stayed in in Greece. Just the views make it worthwhile. Very friendly people. So peaceful and quite, pool is superb, (and never crowded), My idea of heaven.
loved it
The hotel is run by an English woman named Janet, her husband Panosa along with his brother Babis and his wife Maria. My daughter forgot the pram, Janet kindly let us borrow her sons pram for the 2 weeks that we were there. It was a godsend to my husband Stephen, as was the free bus service provided by the hotel. Free bus times: 10am, 1.30pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm and last bus 10.30pm. You can catch the local bus at the bottom of the road to Kefalos village (same side of road) or opposite side of road to Kardamena or Kos town. If travelling to Karamena the bus will drop you at a roundabout to catch another. at this point it is 7km to Karamena and 23km to Kos Town (both worth a visit if you like busy towns) be warned that there is only 1 bus back from Kardamena tho we caught a taxi cost 23 euros that is for 3 Adults and 3 children (12,11 and 2). We strolled down to the town and it took appros 3/4 - 1 hr bit of a hike coming bk tho. Does keep you fit. The only working cash machine was in Kefalos village (top of the hill) (the other one lol) When buying water and walking, it is better to buy it from Psilos supermaket as that is where you get dropped off and picked up again (saves the carrying) free green bus. While the hotel is basic it is kept very clean and more friendly people would be hard to find. The views from the hotel are not to be missed they are fantastic. We had a fantastic time and would definately go again. As for entertainment value it is what you make it. My Grandsons Ashley and Kurtis met and made some good friends in Harry (Babis and Maria's son), Dave and Leanne, Danny and Chris. The weather was great just one morning it rained for a little while, not bad in 2 weeks.
Best apartment ever stayed at.
what a view from the balcony, the best ever, janet was so frendly, never go back to the same place twice but think i will defo go back here,if you want a nice relaxing holiday then this is for you.
Fantastico
Just a quick note to add to the compliments, The Pantheon is a fantastic place to stay, probably the best in Kefalos. Janet is fantastic, We met some great people there, everybody knew everybody. I visited with my girlfriend Sarah between the dates 13.08.2005-21.08.2005, so if anyone reads this and remembers me (jamie), please write to me on jayjaybrokocha@hotmail.com, it would be great to hear from you. Highly recommend the pantheon, want to go again without doubt, only got back yesterday but i miss it so much!
Pantheon - STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I stayed at the Pantheon for a week in August 2005. It was the first time we'd been on a summer sun holiday without our kids who were away on a music course. Having spent the last 10 years trawling round the Med, staying at hotels and complexes with kids clubs, karaoke, mini discos, non stop entertainment and noise, all we wanted was somewhere quiet to chill out, and the Pantheon was absolutely perfect! On arrival we were instantly impressed by the cleanliness and facilities, as the brochure had led us to believe these may vary in Greece. The apartments were spotless and had lots of storage space for clothes and plenty of drawers. We had an electric kettle and toaster, and cooking rings which we never used because eating out was so cheap! Bath towels and hand towels were provided and they were changed 3 times during the week. There was a well stocked free book exchange. The view from the apartments was stunning, and the meals from the bar were very cheap and delicious. There is a barbecue 2 nights a week, and you can get the courtesy bus to the beach restaurants if you wish - there are many nice places to eat near the beach. We never saw a crowd all week, or a queue. It's quite a long walk down a steep hill to the beach, but the courtesy bus is very reliable - an old Mercedes with a character of it's own!!! For a quiet holiday this is the place to go, especially if all you really want to do is flop on a sunbed and chill. The family who run the place are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble - especially Janet, the English owner. She's lovely - she personally came to see us off on the last night - I cried! I didn't want to go home! If you want to escape the discos and nightlife there can be no better place. It was wonderful! I would go back tomorrow - but I wouldn't take my kids - they'd be bored senseless! Small kids would like it but mine are 12 and 14 - there is nothing at all to keep them amused. All in all, a wonderful experience. I'm already working out when I can go again!
Excellent
Had a very very good stay at the Patheon. The Pantheon apartments are run by an English woman called Janet along with her husband Panos his brother Babis and his wife Maria and not to forget Maria and Babis son Harry. Very friendly people made the holiday that little bit special. Did not want to leave already booked up to go back next year so I am looking forward to seeing you all again!!
fantastic holiday venue, janet & pacos.... thank you
Eceptionaly friendly, family venue. Ccould perhaps be improved by installing a pool table or something for the kids/teens to do in the evenings. The owners, an english lady named janet, her greek husband pacos and brother in law banos knew everyones name after an hour of checking in, all told a very very nice place to visit.
fentastic holiday
A lovely family run hotel the owner did everything to help us. His mini bus rides into the village were very helpful. The hotel has fantastic views front and back very peaceful the best real greek resort in Kos you must visit!!!
