This superb standard hotel, quietly located on the outskirts of Kardamena, is positioned directly on the beach surrounded by well kept gardens. In separate white blocks, named after ancient Greek gods and goddesses, the Club Akti Hotel is stylishly decorated and offers rooms for 2 to 3 people, and family rooms for 4 people. All rooms have a fridge, radio, satellite TV, hair dryer, telephone, safety deposit box, and air conditioning. For those hot days enjoy the large swimming pool and pool bar there are also two separate children pools or stroll to the beach and take advantage of the variety of watersports on offer, including windsurfing, scuba diving, pedaloes and water-skiing. loading...

The Hotel staff were very rude and aggresive towards us. Our rooms were cleaned twice during the 8 night stay and our beds were never made / sheets changed. The food was awful and the facilities they provided were dreadful. The island is a nice place to go clubbing but this hotel is 10 minutes away from the town center so we had to cab it everynight. I'm never returning to this hotel.

We went away with another couple and all had a fantastic holiday. The complex is divided into two sections, the hotel and the annex. The annex accommodation was fairly basic but was kept very clean and the towels changed daily. The only downside of the whole holiday was the beds being a little uncomfortable and the shower seemed to flood each time we used it, but got used to it.
You could not fault the food, with plenty of choice every night, italian, greek, chinese adn so on each night. Entertainment was good during the day and the animation team worked their socks off, evening entertainment was ok.
There was a good choice of drinks throughtout the day all included in the price. Note you need to leave a 50euro deposit to use the air con, but you get this back at the end.
There are 3 large Swimming pools all kept relly clean and you can get fresh towels at reception if you leave a deposit.
Staff were all excellent and very helpful. There was a free bus every half hr into kardemena. Its worth getting a taxi to the airport rather than paying the operator as its only 15euros.

I have recently arrived home from a fantastic holiday in kos. We stayed in the Club Akti hotel which is perfectly positioned at the foot of stunning mountains. The hotel owns its own private stretch of beach which is beautiful, the sea is crystal clear and warm! The hotel itself is fantastic for food with a large variety to choose from including chinese and italian. Kardemina is within walking distance, Kardemina i found very touristy, loud and buzzing with life which was great considering i am 19, plenty of nightlife and bars. The water-sports and trips provided are well worth attending, especially the scuba diving trips and the day trips to Turkey. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are frequently cleaned. The only disappointments i experienced with this hotel was with the entertainment in the evenings which become very repetitive, with the same evening shows and music, especially if you are staying over a week. The only other downfall was the hotel room showers as they let out salty water. Overal fantastic hotel, however the entertainment needs expanding and possibly cleaner water to clean in.

We have just returned from a week in Kardamena Kos. We stayed at the above hotel four years ago and was very impressed with the entertainment, the apartments and the food, especially the food. We were not disappointed this time around, the hotel rooms were spotless the food was fantastic, even better than four years ago. The entertainment was not in my opinion as good as the last time, but it was pleasant and the children certainly enjoyed themselves. We will definately return.

me and my family vsisited this hotel 4 years ago,then it was a great holiday.The food and everything was acceptable.This year the hotel had brought a new touch to the restaraunt,they had added a chinese and italian food counter,moved the theatre and had anew 24 hour coffee facility.The waiters and the barstaff, both by the pool and in the main building were not only happy and helpful but actually assisted you in having a wonderful time,even when under immense pressure (and sometimes whilst dealing with the occasional awkward customer).The cleanliness off the rooms was kept at a high standard by a group of cleaners that took their job one step further,such as folding nightwear that had been left in a heap and placing on pillows.I would recomend this hotel,and its surroundings,to both young and old,family or none.A sincere thank you to all at club atki

Great Hotel can't fault it at all. Very clean & comfortable.
Food excellent, loads of choice with the usual buffet plus grill cooking fresh fish/meat each meal time or eggs, pancakes & omelettes at breakfast, at dinner there's chinese food and fresh pizzas prepared in front of you plus Sushi bar. They also had "Greek" and "Fish" evenings which made a nice change. The crepes late at night are delicious!
Hotel as 3 large pools one main pool where daytime entertainment takes place, a quieter pool and an additional pool in the "Annexe" and 4 kids paddling pools. All the pools serve drinks, ice creams and snacks all day.
This is the first time I have been anywhere where there were more sunbeds than guests!!! You could come down anytime of day and get a bed.
Staff were very helpful and always cleaning, except the lady serving in the shop!! She was miserable!! But being all inclusive, you don't really need the shop! Or go to the shop in the annexe, they're nice there!
Lots of Italians visit this hotel but although some think they are above everyone else you just need to humour them!! Like the idiot who won the "Mr Akti" contest and insisted on parading himself and his certificate around the hotel and thought the title allowed him to jump queues - says it all really - but gave us a laugh!!!
We travelled with JMC (never again!!) but just be aware that if you travel with JMC/Thomas Cook there is no "Kidsworld" kids club facility as promised in the brochure - just a hotel run kids club.
Had a great holiday and would definatley go back - just not with JMC/Thomas Cook!! Their Reps where noticable by their absence - even on coach transfers & trips!!!
I'd book direct next time.

Just spent a fantastic week at the Akti Club with my wife, daughter and two grand children. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
It was the last week of the season and fairly quiet but the selection of food at every meal did not diminish. My wife is already looking to book again for next year.
The beach is very close to the hotel but you need a pair of beach shoes to wear when you go in the water as it is very stony.

I would like to say that I had the best holiday at club Akti. Ok so the food wasn’t everything but the entertainment was great. The guys really wanted everyone to enjoy themselves.

Tom was fantastic he really wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. He would make his way round the pool each day speaking to everyone, which was really nice. He liked to chuck people in the pool as well. Tom if you ever read this I would very much like to keep in contact with you. chat2kat1@hotmail.com. looks like you had a few girls after you ay. Glad you finally got to go home as well. Hope Charlie is ok.

Kardamena is a lovely place to go to while you are there as well. The hotel provides a bus in and out of town.

The hotel has a lovely friendly atmosphere and is situated in the perfect location; not too far from the town centre (where you can find lots of shops, bars, restaurants etc) but also not situated too close, which is good because you don't get disturbed by the noise from clubs and rowdy holiday makers at 3am!! They even have a FREE coach service from and to the hotel every night, the coach makes several trips, but it would be better if they ran past 12am.
The hotel offers lots of activities from water sports to early morning yoga sessions!
The security guard was a bit rude to us at one point when we were sat in reception at about 2am making a bit too much noise, but this is only expected as he was constantly trying to quieten us down for the benefit for the sleeping holiday makers close by!
Overall this was the best holiday of a lifetime and i can't wait to go back!! I would especially recommend it for younger people, teenagers etc, although it's also very good for a family holiday!
