we stayed here in may and it was the first time in kefalonia for us.The scenery from these apartments were wonderfull we couldnt have chose a nicer place to stay.steve and elini were very nice and we always found them friendly and helpfull.The rooms were clean and well enough equiped for what we needed.We only went for a week but wish we stayed for two.The bbq night was fun and the food was good,the food during the day from the pool bar was good too no complaints!!only a five minute walk to other restraunts but a hike back from the beach.We will definately go back here.

Me and my husband came to lourdas on 3 May 2009 for a week break, our main holiday in Turkey to be in September. We have just fell in love with this place. Aristomenis studios in a prime location for stunning views studios very clean and comfortable. Steve and Erin are very nice and could not do enough for you.
very hilly but worth it we walked for miles only two people on the beach all day it was wonderful. Greek food amazing stafado and klefica yum.
will alway come to lourdas and Aristomenis now for our week break if not longer its so peaceful and just beautiful. You can keep Turkey!

we stayed in may this year and it was a lovely place the room had an excellent sea veiw and really nice balcony area. It was very clean and well finished. Around the hotel area are lots of nice tavernas and we found the locals really friendly every one is really relaxed and we did not get bothered by one person to go into bars and restaurants. The island was very beautiful with lots of greenery and wild flowers and stunning beaches.
The only bad point was on our last day the lady owner of our appartment acused us in front of all the other guests at the pool bar and waiting for the airport bus of stealing or smashing 2 coffee cups from our room when we explained there were never any in our room when we moved in she told us we were liars as she put them there herself and stormed off. we found this very rude and uncalled for as it was the only bad piont of a nice appartment complex .

Aristomenis Studios provided clean, well appointed rooms and the owners Stene and Eleni could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The pool area is lovely-clean and uncrowded. We will definitely be recommending Aristomenis to our family and friends. Lourdas itself is quiet, but has some wonderful views and great restaurants. 10/10!

We had a super holiday here. Steve, Eleni and Sherry are quiet friendly people, who do not impose, but love to see you enjoy your holiday. You can purchase food from the bar if you want it, the breakfasts are good value, and the chicken, cheese, lettuce and tomato sandwich on Pitta bread is my favourite! The complex is beautifully laid out with a small garden and lots of flowers. The studios are kept clean and the atmosphere of the place is calm and relaxing. It is quite a steep climb to the beach, but we hired a car and either walked along the beach to Kanalli beach or drove to the top of the climb and walked down. The beach is lovely with a sandy beach and a clear sea, shallow for quite a way out. You will need to buy a beach umbrella if you decide to go on this beach. Whilst we were there it was my birthday, and I cannot think of a better way to have spent it, Steve, Eleni and Sherry made quite a fuss of me on this day. There are lots of lovely tavernas around the complex, all of which served super meals and all were friendly people. All in all a holiday to treasure!

The view from the apartment overlooking Zante
was great.
Steve and Eleni the owners work hard and they are very
helpful very nice family.
The people from around Lourdas are very nice and friendly.
It is a long walk down hill to the beach but we enjoyed it.
My wife and myself also enjoyed a tour around Kefalonia
with Thomas Cook tours Hilda the tour guide was very good.

Best view I have ever had from a balcony, overlooking Zante. Lovely clean rooms and owners Steve and Eleni and daughter Sherry are lovely. Bit of a hike to beach but I like the exercise although my other half felt as though he was on bootcamp!Plenty of tavernas around the apartments so you don't need to tackle the hill at night. We did however have a lovely meal at Lorraine's on Magic Hill and were given a lift back up the hill.Easy to miss is a little mini market/tea room/bar opposite neptune car and bike hire owned by a lovely Welshman called Thornton.Hired a jeep for 2 days from Neptune.After a tour in our jeep of quite a bit of the island knew that we had picked the best resort and best apartments.

The reviews i have read on here saying it is bad are total rubbish, i absolutely loved this apartment, only problem i found was it was a long way from the beach however that is a resort problem nothing to do with Aristomenis. The rooms were clean and plenty room and our view was excellent. The owners Steve and Eleni were lovely and friendly and the cleaner came in and emptied the bins everyday. The walk to the beach is a good 20 minutes and a taxi is worth paying for to get back up the steep hill. The reosrt itself wasnt great as there arent many places to eat so i would recommend that you have a trip to scala as there is much more to do you can get a local bus there for about 5 euros whereas a taxi would cost 40 euros to go and 40 to get back!!!! Steve will call the bus station for you for times, however for a total chill out go to Aristomenis studios they ARE great and i had no problems here at all!!!

We stayed at the Aristomenis studios which were lovely, though basic and very clean. As for self catering no toster no grill no oven two cooking rings one of which was tiny, not even a can opener, and minimum utensil's. Beware room 101 it face's onto the owners accommodation, car park and washing, we overcame this by turning our table and chairs around to some stunning views, a simple screen would have made a huge differance. Steve and Eleni were ok, polite more then friendly we would say. The pool is lovely, but prices at the bar are higher than anywhere else. We still enjoyed our holiday reguardless. A beautifull island and a car is essential unless you are happy to spend your holiday around the pool, getting to the beach is a slog.

we just got back from aristomenis in greece .i must say the apts are basic but that greece for you but the rep jenna wood was fantastic she was very bubbly and always they to help us . she a great rep we had some bad ones . you do need a tourch at night and the resort is very low key but the island is lovely . we went out with xl not to bad but it a charter flight and gets you they. the weather was great and the sea is crystal blue. you can take a trip over to zante what worth doing by ferry and car hire is worth getting. would l go back yes and would i book with kosma again yes only if jenna could be are rep again (jenna what island next yr are you back here) thank you for a lovely holiday and the staff at aristomenis are good as well.
