Booked holiday in February stating seaview. Arrived to be shown the worst room in the complex. My husband made it very clear to Elene that we were not happy, her comment was that we are just another name to her, so see the rep the next morning. The following day my husband did just that, and Jenna Wood the Kosmar rep. asked if we would be staying for two weeks, when he replied one week, she said sorry, if you were staying for two, I would do somthing about it. We didn't realize that booking for one week made us second class holidaymakers!! She made no attempt to come and veiw the cell we were given. (room 101!!! BEWARE anyone going to these apartments)
It is next to the carpark, the cleaners store room, the boiler store, which constantly booms into action, cleaners constantly back and forth, washing hung out for us to veiw. The veiw from double doors was a ten ft high wall with aroad into carpark. Spoilt our holiday, would never return

steve and eleni are excellent hosts who run a very efficient well presented business. As they are the owners you get that extra bit of personal attention The apartments are clean well presented. Although this is a tiny village lourdas offers a variety of tavernas and shops and the buses run down to the beach in the season so dont let the hills put u off although for the more energetic you can always get the walking boots on
This was my 3 rd visit and have just booked again for next may. My daughter who is 20 also loved the apartments and steve and eleni soon got used to her little likes with the bar snacks well guys i would thouroughly recommend the place, the apartments and most of all the hosts

Excellent holiday, accommodation spotless even the shower curtain got changed!
Steve and Eleni very helpful and always on hand.
Location handy for tavernas and beach with a local bus service stopping outside the apartments that runs to and from the beach.
Lourdas is a beautiful part of the island not too busy and close to the airport and the capitol Argostoli.
Well worth hiring a car to see the rest of the island and lovely off the beaten track beaches nearby.

Just spent two weeks here. Had a really nice and relaxing time. Quiet location. Accommodation is excellent, and always clean. Steve and his family can't do enough for you, and are always there if you need them. Room was wonderful, having all the usual Greek trimmings. Only fault I can say is the showers never have a place to hang the shower head - but that’s Greece!
Pool and bar area was never crowded, anything between 6 and 20 people around the pool, which was just right. Food was excellent at the bar, if you didn't fancy strolling to the tavernas, cheap too. Thoroughly recommend the Greek Dancing BBQ night.
Lourdas itself is one of the more quieter resorts. Six or seven Tavernas on the upper road. Three markets too. More Tavernas and Markets down toward Lourdas beach, though the walk back up on a full stomach was something I didn't fancy!
A bit of a trek down to the two nearby beaches too. Probably about a mile and harder coming home!
We hired a car, and although Fiskardo is a good 90 minute drive, it is worth it if you take in Assos on the way up. Both Sami and Poros are also worth a trip, as is Scala.
Best beach we found was Mounda, right on the west side at the southern tip of the Island. 20-25 minute drive, but if you head toward the headland away from the sunbeds it's very quiet and naturist. Ok, so Myrtos beach is an awesome view, but to be honest is also very busy and stony too.
If you want a busier nightlife then Lourdas is probably not for you. But if you want excellent accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, a bit of peace and quiet plus a reasonable base from which to explore the Island, then this is ideal.

Had a lovely relaxing time at the Aristomenis.Went out exploring the island by car most days or walking, to return to a friendly and hospitable welcome from Steve and Elini on return to base, where we enjoyed sitting out on the deck with one or two pre dinner drinks taking in the view.
Kefalonia very pretty with diverse scenery and places to walk to and visit.
Great beaches all round the island including the coves up the road from the apartments reached via the goat track.
Loved Myrtos Beach and Assos, enjoyed the ferry ride from Agistoli over to Luxuri with the car and drove back round the bay. Had beter fun visiting Fiscardo by boat than road and would have liked to spend more time in Ithaca however a weeks holiday there may be too long.
Our Apartment was spacious and spotless with sea views.
We did not eat here so can not comment on the food but it looked nice and the cooking area on the bar was imaculate.
Couldnt fault the place for the price and would not hesitate to return. Great base for your holiday.
