Just returned from 2 weeks staying at these studios. Anyone who has been to Lassi before will know that alot of the accommodation is situated up a steep hill, The Evans Studios however are not. There is a beach within five minutes walk and the even better Makris Gialos beach no more than five minutes further. The supermarket is also only 5 minutes away, so it would be difficult to get a better location. The studios themselves are of the normal Greek standard, we did have one of the larger rooms but we spent most of our time sitting outside enjoying the lovely views. Dennis the caretaker/cleaner is lovely, he's extremely friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our holiday in Lassi but the resort does lack "Greek" character, having said that the people are very friendly.
The walk to Argostoli is definitely a must but take plenty of water it does get rather warm.
For meals try The Greek Kitchen on Makris Gialos Beach and Trata for an evening meal Nefeli is also good.
One thing to be aware of is the transfer time from the airport to Lassi takes 10 mins and therefore you do see the planes either landing or taking off, having said that Kefalonia airport is not exactly Heathrow, the busiest day being Sunday and to be honest we didn't find it a problem.
In conclusion loved the accommodation, Lassi is nice but lacked Greek character.

these studios are clean and well kept with sea views only 5min to the sea and 5min to shops and restaurants with mountain views well worth going

Hi i have just returned from a fab two weeks in Kefalonia with my husband, daughter (17) and son (15). We stayed at Evans Studios and as the other review found the apartments comfortable, Dennis was lovely, position great and the view fantastic. This was our 7th trip to the Island and i would go back tomorrow if i could. Places to eat for us are Pheadra and Oscar's. Oscar's is a little out of the way if on foot but worth it for a great evening with Kostas Makis and of course Oscar. If you have a car Palentinos is well worth a visit, great food and the view is out of this world, only 20 mins drive from Lassi on the mountain at Agios Gerissimos. We have done all of the trips on one visit or another but our favourite is the Three Island Tour. Others places to visit Drogorati Caves Melissani Lake Fiscardo and Assos.
