The studios are in perfect location if you’re up for partying. Right on the main street so you have access to all clubs bars and restaurants, it’s also only a 5 min walk to the beach.
The studios are very small and basic, if you’re anyway over the normal size person you may have problems getting into the bathroom. When in it there’s just about room to turn round. The shower is practically over the toilet, there is no curtain so there’s water everywhere!!
During the holiday we received two clean towels and had the sheets changed once, the room was not cleaned at all. I was not impressed with the hygiene level. They would not be the most pleasant staff can actually be quite rude. Although Tony is very friendly and speaks excellent English. I agree with the comment made about passports, there on view for anyone to take. The pool is not that big but did the job.
Malia in general has a nice clean beach, good food, we ate in allot of places but the favourite has to be the Red Lion.
Always check your change, they can be quick to hold back on a few cents/euros. As if it isn't expensive enough.

I miss this place went in 05 and 06 it was well good tried to go this year as well but couldn’t get in and I thought it was a bit sad to go again 3 times in a row!! But I miss Tony the tiger he was great!! And ladie he was cool (the security guard guy) all really friendly.
The location is great right on the strip bar open late so you can get paro an dmeet people before you go out and also when you come in!!!!
Pool is quite small but it’s nice to just chill out by the pool food all day and nice cocktails.
Beach not too far away and loads of restaurants close by would recommend brassiere, good food there!!
The maid comes in and does your room if you’re up or not so beware!!

Hotel excellently located but staff unfriendly and rude as are most of the Greeks. Manager unpleasant man and the security guard never smiles.
Passports are left unguarded on desk. Safety deposit boxes are not in rooms but in reception unguarded.
Bed sheets are not changed all week. Swimming pool very small.
Avoid the bike hire places that quote you low prices of about 30 euros as once you sign the contract they will force you to pay 200 euros.

I visited Malia this year and had an amazing time.
The accommodation had everything you could need and the staff were really friendly, especially a man we named tony the tiger, who worked night shift and put up with us all mortal drunk all hours of the morning!
The mistral studios are situated just off the strip so it’s ideal, only a short walk to the bars and restaurants and five minutes to the beach.
I would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for a wild holiday!

Loved our stay at the Mistral Apartments!
Very handy as it is based on the main strip of Malia, beach is only a five minute walk away and the apartments are situated next to shops, clubs, pubs etc.
Rooms are very basic but clean.
Pool bar is open late, great for when the pubs/clubs are closed and it also gives you the chance to meet everyone who is also staying in the apartments!
Staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Tony who I had the pleasure of knowing for the 7 weeks I stayed in Malia!

I loved it! Perfect location, perfect sun spot, just brilliant. There was a mix of people, couples, young groups of lads and girls 17-45yrs. Everyone got on we all got to know each other no problems with guests.
Bar staff a little flirty but good for the ego. Everything to hand. Fridge, shower in room. Little balcony (2nd one along in photo).
Really good fun! I recommend that you put a towel down bout 9am then go back for a sleep. The best sun beds are bout 3from the corner sun stays on them from 9am to about 6pm (September).
Shower water can get cold later on. Take a 4bar plug for hairdryer, ghd's, CD player etc
Some of the electric key tags for room electric are in funny place and fall out when door opened not ours though. Like others weren’t impressed when I got there but I loved it by the following day.
No overnight guests is very big, not that we did that but they do kick up a stink as our friends were in Stalis, we wanted them to stay but you have to pay 20euros.
I would definitely stay again, in fact I’m planning on sending my friends and going myself again this year September again, best time.
One problem at night 4/5year olds are sent out to sell glow sticks and flowers don’t buy them, these kids should be at home in bed. They can get very rude and vulgar. Tell them to go home!
Hotel Mistral best in Malia book it!

Overall a great hotel! When I first arrived I wasn't too impressed but i grew to love the place! Pool / pool bar / reception are all lovely! Rooms are on the small side and basic but actually quite good for Malia!
The hotel is situated in the best position on the strip by the McDonalds. Half way between the beach and the main part of the strip. Absolutely brilliantly positioned. hotel staff are brilliant. Manager is brilliant and very helpful, always willing to give change / change travellers cheques.
Always someone in the reception as well to keep an eye on the safes and hotel in general! Tony behind the bar is fabulous, Vlad the security guard can be a bit hot headed but we had a laugh with him too! Would love to go back and highly recommend the hotel!

Absolutely loved Malia! Loved this hotel too staff were amazing! Only one problem though we were placed on the ground floor below the bar we didn’t have a balcony only ones who didn’t our luck lol. Every time someone potted a ball on the pool table it made a terrible noise our ceiling (not very good with a hangover!) But apart from that it was brill.
We were from Scotland so they understood when we got cold at night lol so it was no problem to get a big cosy blanket! One big rule in Malia though is that your not allowed to bring anyone back to your hotel room. We had one incident at the hotel when someone did and the bar man asked him 2 leave and the guy hit the bar man what a shame he's lovely too! I totally recommend this hotel!
We cant wait to get back! The shops are close by and the clubs are basically on the hotels doorstep if your looking for a quiet hotel this isn’t the one for u as its so near the nightlife!

Accommodation was in a great location just off the strip. Close to everything. Resort is lively and fun. Lots of pubs and clubs. Holiday operator very helpful.
The pool area was a bit small but the music around the pool and atmosphere it didn’t matter.
Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the barman tony and the security guard George. Many nights was drunk talking to them.
Overall a great holiday and would recommend it to people looking for a fun holiday.
