Save your money and book elsewhere, anywhere. As we all know Crete is beautiful as are the people who live there. We even expect, by our standards that accommodation there can sometimes be questionable, so we make allowances. But the Virginia apartments takes the biscuit.... more

I stopped here in 2001 and it was great then although not much night life there was plenty of nice little tavernas etc and shops and a beach within a 20 min walk. Good exercise!
Taxis were cheap as chips! Not sure what it is like now but I would recommend it to families and couples. Lovely balcony views of the sea!

I and my family have had to Great Holidays in Crete staying at The Virginia Apartments This was over 4 years ago The owners are very friendly the apatments are bascic but clean Lot of stepts to get to your apartment however lovely views Will recommend this part of crete and the Virginia Apatments/Studios
