A group of 8 of us had a great time for the week we spent at Dimitra. The rooms were clean, well maintained and airy. The Dimitra family run a welcoming while small appartment complex in a quiter area about 20 minutes walk from Sidari. Walking the other direction takes you to older, less deveoped Greek villages. I would go again.
Much more than a 2*.

This holiday was a spur of the moment thing. Fed up with the weather, Lisa and I booked up for Sidari in Corfu, not knowing anything about the place really. Well we loved it. The kids had gone away with a family member, so we did the honorable thing and enjoyed 7 nights in the Dimitra Appts in Sidari, and we will definately go again. Harry was a great help, and as it is a family run business, you know it will be spotless, from the pool area to the rooms. Clean is an understatement. They work very hard to make your stay the best it can be.
Situated about 15 minutes walk from the bustling centre of Sidari, these appts are quiet and peaceful, relaxing and friendly, yet have the usual pool table next to Harry's Bar. The only reason we didn't give this a 10/10 mark was the leack of kettle in the room. But we used the saucepans on the hob, which didn't pose a problem.
Book it, you won't regret a minute of it.
- Advice: A great, bustling town with charactor and many friendly locals

Brilliant place to stay, not to far from the more lively part of Sidari and a very relaxed atmosphere. Apartments are very clean and the cleaner we had even folded up our clothes (not so good for my friend as he left a pair of skidmarked underpants on the floor)
Harry and his family are always on call for your every needs and his chicken sandwiches are just awesome. His dad is a very lovely man as well.
We got to meet some brilliant people and the northern girls from Chorley that had a hint of gravy smell to them were wonderful and entertained us throughout our stay, especially 'that' dress.
The evening Harry played the guitar was very entertaining but was cut short as nobody could sing along to the music due to hand written song sheets.
All in all the holiday was brilliant and we are seriously considering returing this year.

Just returned from our holiday, had one of the best holidays ever. My partner had never been to Corfu before and found it amazing. The apartments were very clean and tidy and the bedding was changed as required. The atmosphere was relaxed and Harry was really friendly. The pool area was lovely and clean and had plenty of beds. There was plenty of tavanas and restaurants close by, and the food was excellent. Overall it was a great place to stay. It was a 15 minute walk to the centre of Sidari, which was a pleasent walk.

I've just returned from a very relaxing week. Excellent accomodation, very clean and friendly. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. There are plenty of tavernas offering very good food. If you want to venture out into Sidari for a bit of nightlife then its only a 5 minute taxi ride away.
Harry and his family will do anything for you, very helpful. I would recommend to anyone wishing for a relaxing holiday!!

We have been to the Dimitra for the last 6 years. The place is spotless.Air conditioning has now been installed with safe deposit boxes also being fitted in the rooms. There is a fridge ,hob with three rings on.pans.If you are stopping in to eat you have more than enough crockeryt.Eating out is so cheap. We have still not been to all the restaurants. The Orchard,Two Brothers,Alexis,Sweet Apple are our favourites.
The supermarket is only a couple of minutes away and if you need to book any trips you can book them with Selini Travel with Helene who owns the supermarket.I think she is moving back to the office across the road from the supermarket in 2008.
Harry and his mother Dimitra run the apartments.Harry speaks English and he will get you anything that you want.He has now started playing his guitar on a Wednesday evening and they also organise a barbecue on Sunday if enough people are going.Sheets and towels are only changed once a week this is down to the tour operator as they only get paid enough for one change. You can ask the maid for replacements. The pool is cleaned everynight. It is a relaxing place not noisy and not too far away from the nightlife if you want .We shall be going again in September.

First of all this was not the holiday that we booked and when we spoke to the First Choice rep she was less than helpful!!! Do NOT book day or evening trips they are very expensive and you will find them in the town for quarter of the price.
The hotel looks very clean and the bar and pool area are, but the rooms are far from clean, we were in the block of rooms that face the bar area you do not see these in any pictures on the web. They are ok from outside but inside they are appalling, they had mould around the shower and the bedding and towels were only changed once a week which is below parr (we were going to take them to laundrette ourselves).
The catering facilities in our room where very poor for self catering we did not have simple things such as a kettle we had to boil water in an old pan - it is hard to self cater when you do not have the facilities to cater yourself with. We did complain about the cleaning in our room, which was soon made better but it was short lived!!!
We will never go back to Dimitra Studios but Sidari was a great place.

This holiday was a last minute cheap booking for my boyfriend and I, and we were very pleased with what we got for our money.
The location of the hotel was ideal, about 15 minutes walk from Sidari centre which meant that we didn’t get caught up in all the British Karaoke and pub quizzes, which is what Sidari is mostly like. It was very tranquil and there was no noise at all during the day or night.
The hotel staff were ok, but not very enthusiastic about chatting with the guests, and they mainly kept in the background unless someone needed anything, which is fine considering it is self catering there. and at that time of the year people mainly just wanted to laze around the pool, which was what we did most of the week.
The studios are very well looked after and maintained, and a great attention to detail. It is all very clean and nothing was broken or out of place.
Harry, the bar attendant gave a performance one evening on his guitar which was very entertaining, but that was the only entertainment we had at the hotel all week.
The bar drinks were quite expensive compared to prices in the centre of Sidari, the same went for food, so I would highly recommend eating out rather than in the hotel itself, as there are many bargains to be found.
Overall, we got what we paid for and we had a very pleasant and relaxing holiday, I would recommend this place to couples or those who want a quiet and undisturbed break with no hassle.

We stayed at the Dimitra in Sidari last year, and was very impressed with the cleanliness and size of the room. It is a small family run hotel, which is very peaceful.
The staff were very friendly, but I suppose the only draw back, was that the hotel was a good 20-25 minute walk away from the main part of Sidari. However there was lots of bars and restaurants on the way, to stop and cool down.
We personally wasn't that impressed with Sidari, although the beaches were good! We enjoyed going to Korfu Town, and the romantic night cruise.
We would recommend people to stay at the Dimitra, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.
