Martinez Hotel

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fabulous. Got a really cheap deal B&B through skoosh.com. We arrived in our hire car, which was magically whisked away by the valet, to reappear as soon as we needed it. We were presented with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates.
The hotel is a beautiful art deco building, getting a little shabby around the edges, but this only adds to its appeal. The staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The inclusive breakfast was great with a huge choice and you could eat as much as you liked.
Fantastic situation right on the Croissette in Cannes, every designer shop you've ever heard of on the doorstep. Didn't eat in the Palme d'Or as unfortunately it was shut on Mondays, but the Relais de Martinez was very good and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. The only thing which stops us giving the hotel 10/10 was no tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Hope to return next year on our first anniversary!
