Grand Hotel Mercure Croisette Beach Hotel

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights of our honeymoon. First to the good: The hotel was clean in general, had a wondeful location and probably the most helpful and friendly staff of all the hotels we stayed in on this vacation. The hotels beach area was well kept and nicely situated. The only bad thing was the room itself. It was a good size, with a nice sized bed (with clean sheets) and bathroom equipped with tub. Very good alternative if staying in Cannes. Very close to the beach, and not too far from Palais, if youre going to a Festival. Rooms are very good, better even than the Hilton, and cheaper. Installations (poool, gym, etc.) are not that good, but i find that a minor problem, since youll be going out a lot. Very close to Martinez Hotel. People working in the hotl are very friendly.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Croisette Beach. It's a great location in between the main shopping street (Rue d'antibes) and the Croisette. Was good value for money considering we got 4 nights for price of 3. Room was clean and adequate - lots of storage and good sized bathroom. Reception staff were very helpful and bar staff very friendly. The beach staff were great - really friendly and good fun. 14euro's a day person for a sun bed and parasol which then went up to 18euro's a day in July/August. Thought this was expensive but... more

We have just returned from 4 nights at La Croisette Beach hotel and were very impressed. From the moment we arrived at midnight, a friendlier staff you couldn't wish for! Our car was taken to the hotel's garage, and throughout our stay was fetched with a moment's notice by a very obliging young man. This did, however, cost 17 euros a day!! I booked this hotel for a short weekend break having read the reviews on this website. I was not disappointed. The service was second to none, the rooms were immaculate, small but very clean. The hotel had it's own private beach and the location was excellent. The only issue I had was travelling from Nice Airport to the Hotel, it was not cheap - 80 Euros. (one way). Would definately recommend people use the train or a bus. Overall a fantastic holiday, would definately go back.

Though it is not on Croisette Bd. - it's a terrific hotel!!!!! Location is just excellent - almost next to Carlton but the area is more quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We even could have a lunch in the bar on the groung floor about 3 p.m. while all the local restaurants were closed for siesta. And it was a nice one! We had a junior suite - there was no balcony but it was very spacious and clean, perfectly furnished and decorated. Bathroom was great and there were fresh flowers. This hotel ticks most boxes ...great location beside Carlton and steps from both Croisette and Rue D'Antibes - safe quiet area - while nicely decorated not as ostentatious as some of its neighbours making it less "nerve wracking" for children to run around! ......their own beach just across the road at a hotel price of 11 euro a day including towel and parasol, but the public beach is fantastic and just a little bit up the road towards the Palais ..OK then you won't have the fantastic service at the... more

Great hotel.more 5 star than 3 star...brilliant location round the corner from the world famous carlton hotel..1 minute from beach.hotel also provides towels for private beach area where you can have drinks and lunch and charge it to your room...brill...rooms massive and really well air conditioned.breakfast served in rooms too...couldnt ask for more.....highly recommended....
