Trident Hotel

I stayed here while on a tour for one night. The Trident has a great location right on the harbor and is short walk to lots of shops and pubs. We had a great view of the harbor from our room. The room itself was clean but a little dated. Our carpet had some rips in it, and there wasn't great lighting. But for one night it was fine. Perhaps there are other rooms which have been renovated and may be in better condition. The restaurant and pub were both great and the staff was accomodating. The town of Kinsale was lovely.

I’ve stayed at the Trident many times whilst on business in the Kinsale area. It recently had two new floors added and some bedrooms refurbished. The executive bedrooms are very well appointed with nice bathrooms and views over Kinsale Marina. Some bedrooms have Internet access but getting a connection was a bit hit and miss during last couple of visits. Kinsale has a well-deserved reputation for good food and the Trident’s Savannah restaurant does not disappoint you, the bar food is also very good. The hotel is at the far end of Kinsale... more
