" The location of the Olympia could not... "

The location of the Olympia could not be better. We travelled by car and it was easy to park on the street right outside the hotel as it is situated in a quiet residential street. Having said that the hotel is only 7 or 8 minutes gentle walk from the centre of Bruges.

Our room was fairly small, but clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast the following morning was geared to accommodate a range of European tastes, with cold meats, cheese, pastries etc. The service was good and the staff generally friendly.

Bruges itself is a fascinating city with lots to see and do. The bars and little restaurants are plentiful and very good. Belgian beer needs to be treated with caution as some of them are up to 10% volume by alcohol. If you go to Bruges don't forget to take a boat trip which is very good value for money.

I love Bruges, I will be back.
