really quiet hotel. Great value for money. great service. good size rooms. I will stay here again.

The lobby and garden area are good coverups for what awaits you in the guest areas. The halls are dark and dingy. The bathtub ledge was ringed with mildew. The bathroom floor was so dirty at check in that we had them clean it. Even clean it is permanently stained as is the carpet in the room. The staff was unhelpful with directions and unresponsive with everything except a wakeup call. Chocolates on the pillow earn them one star.

The hotel itself is very nice. The reception very welcoming and rooms were well maintained. They kindly upgraded my mums room when we advised it was her birthday. However both Friday and Saturday nights they were holding weddings and as our rooms were on the 1st floor we had v little sleep. It was extremely loud until atleast 4am on Friday and 3am on Saturday. We did complain but they said they had no other rooms available to move us too. You should also be aware that the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was v expensive although had... more
