Must go back- Mal; & Andy Worcester

This is definately one of the places that we will return. The appartment we were allocated was clean, well stocked and roomy with a lovely balcony. The poolside was also well kept and quiet - music not too loud. Pool was very clean. The family who run this complex are friendly and cannot do enough for you. We ate there most nights as the meals were lovingly prepared by "Gorden" as we called him as in Ramsay, and it must have been so hot in that kitchen. We loved the area as it is situated on the edge of a pine forest- this took you to various beaches and there are plenty of those to visit on this beautiful island. If you wanted quiet beaches they were there for the taking.Equally there was the gorgeous Koukounaries beach, although this tended to be overcrowded & noisy. This place ticked all the boxes for us.

  • Advice: Just explore the natural beauty at your leisure or take a bus ride to bustling Skiathos town

The Noula apartments are of an excellent standard and we would recommend that you stay there. The rooms were clean, bed linen and towels changed regularly.
This accomodation is family run and very friendly.
Vacillias George and Chef Vacillias make a fab team and are very accomodating as well as entertaining!
This is our second year there and won't be our last, many people you will meet there return again and again, which we think speaks for itself.
Great walks for the fit and able! Supermarket close by.
We love it and can't wait to go back.
Thanks to all who made our stay a holiday we will cherish!

The Noula appartments were the best accomodation that we had ever been to. It was comfortable, relaxing, friendly and the family were very accomodating. The pool was clean and well maintained though it did go deep very quickly which may be a bit of a problem for younger children. The food in the complex was of excellent standard and could not find any thing to complain about. (the yoghurt and morello cherry dessert was lush). The rooms were well kept and cleaned on a regular basis, bedding was clean and bins were kept clean at all times. A good taverna to go to was the big bad wolf which gave excellent food . The beach was a bit further than expected but was worth the walk. The bus sevice to skiathos town was regular, though returning to koukounaries you were like sardines. all in all i would not hesitate to return to the noula in the future.

We have stayed at Noula Apartmens two years running and have booked again for this year 2008. I found the apartment very clean and tidy. We ate at the taverna every night as we thought the food was excellent. Vasillis and his family are the nicest people you could wish to meet very helpful and friendly. The young guy at the bar also called Vasillis is lovely, they all couldn't do enough for our family. The pool area and bar are very clean and there is a good selection of snacks, we would recommend the Friday night barbecue. Can't wait to go this year, Mike & Chris Kilgar

We stayed here in 2000 before the property was extended and have always dropped by to use the pool on other visits to the island. The family always give us a great welcome and this year gave us a little going home gift.
The rooms are clean and very pleasant but on one occasion the windows were left wide open all day whilst we were at the beach. It's not the locals I would worry about!
The pool facilities are excellent and the food in the evening is first class. Don't be confused by the signs on the gate. The property IS the Noula Apartments, the taverna pool side in the evening is the Sunset but XL have deemed it to be called Sunset apartments in their brochure.
We will be going back again next year for sure.

The Noula apartments were very basic, so basic that there is not even a sign saying Noula apartments, you are led to believe it is called Sunset as that is the sign outside by the gate.
Toilet bin was not emptied for two days, we emptied it ourselves. The sheet on the bed when we arrived was almost a brown colour and did not even fit the bed! Definitely had not been changed. There were no pillow cases on the pillows. Apartment overall is shabby and needs updating. Not cleaned five times a week as specified.
Staff never spoke to us once and just did not want to know. We only ate at the taverna within the apartments once and it was nice but a smile from the staff would have been nice. Blonde haired guy just arrogant.
There are no safety deposit boxes and when we came back to our apartment one day not only was the window open but the door was left open as well. Bearing in mind we had only taken cash we were not impressed with the overall safety.
There is no toaster in the apartment as specified in brochure.
Overall Skiathos itself a lovely place and easy to get round on the bus but I wouldn't stay at the Noula again.

We stayed in the Noula apartments in May/June of this year. The apartments were clean, tidy and of a high standard. Plenty of hot water and clean towels.
The food in the Sunset Taverna was excellent and reasonably priced, however we found the staff not really interested in their customers and found them hard to get on with! A lovely pool area with nice sunbeds and a real suntrap in the afternoons.
The apartments are in a good position for the local bus service and of course Koukanaries beach which is five minutes down the road. Skiathos town is a must and the buses are on time and easy to use.
We also went on two trips whilst we were there-island hopping to Skopelos and Alonisos and also the Aegean cruise around the island, both arranged with Thomas Cook. They were both excellent value for money and really enjoyable.
I would recommend Skiathos and the Noula apartments to anyone who wants beautiful scenery, good weather and a relaxing holiday!

Having been to numerous Greek Islands over the years this was our first visit to Skiathos. Travelling as a family of four (Three generations) we were immediately made to feel welcome on our arrival. The apartments were clean and tidy and were cleaned daily throughout our stay. Our arrival coincided with barbeque night. The food was excellent and they meant what the said "As much as you can eat" along with plenty of wine to wash it down. There are plenty of restaurants in the resort but we invariably ate at the Noula most evenings, they also serve snacks at the pool all day.
The pool area is quiet and relaxing. If the beach is more your cup of tea, at the rear of the apartments there is a gate which leads to a path through the pine forest to Mandraki beach which I would highly recommend.
Noula and her family made us feel very welcome throughout our holiday and nothing was too much trouble. We travelled with Manos and our rep, David, was excellent.
If you are considering hiring a car to see the island a 4x4 is essential as the roads are just cut out of the hills.

Noula apartments were lovely. A very traditional family run business with a fantastic swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, a cocktail bar which stayed open as long you wanted to stay up and a restaurant which offered a wonderful BBQ one night a week.
The apartments are basic, offering a TV, fridge and cooking rings, but this is only what you would expect from a self catering apartment in Greece.
The apartments were very neat and tidy and were cleaned daily and the linen was changed every other day.
The apartments were a 5 minute stroll to Koukounaries beach, which is amazing, and the big banana beach is also worth a visit!!
