Travelled with another family, who have older kids, and between us we had 2 x 2 bed Kaiti apartments, we had the one in the picture. Both apartments are idyllic and well (in the Greek sense of the word) equipped, hob, grill, kettle, fridge, sink, dining area - wouldn't want to cook a 3 course meal but who does when you can go to Georges down the road! Kaiti apartments are situated up a rather long concrete paved hill, among all sorts of fruit trees, but the stomp is still do-able with buggies and a torch, even after several cocktails at Stamelos bar at bottom of hill!
From what we gathered Mr and Mrs Panos-Kaiti own these two sets of apartments - Mrs Kaiti delivered freshly baked cake and fresh fruit to us on several days and changed the bed sheets, when she realised one of the kids had had an accident in the night and I was trying to dry it on the veranda! Bless her, she could hardly speak English, but either she was a twin or her mother was or someone!
We used an excellent pool up the road, can't remember the name, but you have to climb up steps to get to it - it belongs to a hotel, as long as you buy a drink you can stay there all day - Dana the lady in the bar made such a fuss of our twins!
Beach is a leisurely 20min walk through the nature reserve (chased by goats). Beach facilities are perfect, boardwalk at the back (ideal for our buggies), under the trees are little beach stuff shops, bars, loos/showers - everything you need. Beach does get busy for an hour or so at a time when the boats arrive, but they soon bugger off.
Buses are a scream, but the best way to get around, 10mins to Skiathos town.
Tried to rebook Kaiti for this year, but were too late, so staying at Noula.
