the apartments are brill we have been going for the past 11 years me and a few of our freinds that we met there all those years ago.The apartments are very clean and freindly.I would not stay anywere else.It just got took over last year was a bit wairy but injoyed it the same batuhan and his wife could not do enough fo...r you and the staff were very freindly and cant wait to go back this year aswell.Would highly recomend these apartments

I have just got home aftervisiting the Toksoy and boy was I glad to get home.I was given a room (101) with my partner and 13 year old daughter, which was above the kitchen and alongside the often very noisy bar area.I asked to be moved numerous times but was never moved.I found the staff to be mostly helpful although a little pushy when it came to getting the few extra lira out of guests.the pool area was very nice but getting a bed was impossible as all the beds where reserved by staff members for their friends and favourite guests.I did not appreciate being asked for Tips on leaving room and Hotel.Will not be making a return visit.

My partner and I (30s) stayed in the Toksoy recently after getting a last minute deal. The hotel was great and we enjoyed one of their balcony rooms on the top floor.
The hotel is located a couple of miles away from the beach so walking there is not an option! That said, there are local dormus (small minibuses) which run regularly into the town centre/beach areas.
Entertainment is provided by the staff and others and we really enjoyed our themed Turkish evening.
The hotel was kept spotlesly clean, with a lovely pool area and the rooms had fresh bedding and towels supplied on a regular basis.
The two bar staff (Orlando and Memet) provided us with the local low down on where to go and can be trusted to give good advice on sites to see/trips etc.
I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

First time at Toksoy, and definitely not the last.
There are very few places in the world, where, although away from home, you feel very much at home.
The apartments had basic requirements, but comfortable and clean.
The staff were superb, and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant staff very accommodating, and friendly, as were all the people in Turkey generally.
Armutalan is a little out of Marmaris, but the bus service is excellent, frequent and inexpensive, and got you from the apartments to the centre of the Marmaris marina and shopping areas in around 10 minutes.
Other than catching the bus, there are plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
We are definitely going again, and it will be the Toksoy for sure.

I booked a holiday through "going on holiday" tours, they are a disgrase by the way! stay clear!!!!!!Our holiday was booked for us to stay at the Royal plaza hotel, which is supposed to be a 4star hotel, no way hosy!!!please DO NOT stay there as the hotel staff attacked my 15 year old son!!long story.
But without going on too much about our awfull experiance at the Royal Plaze after 4 days, my son and I had no option but to move hotels ( due to no hot water, and the filthly hotel and disgusting excuse of humanbeings(being the staff that is).
I found this little apartments called Toksoy Aparts directly behind the Royal Plaza for myself and my son. Best move we ever made!! Apol (the owner) saved our holiday, the aparts are spotlessly clean, the staff were brilliant, the guest there were brilliant and so friendly. Most of the guests that were there have been coming to the place for 14 years, 10 years continuessly etc so just goes to show that these aparts is the best place to stay in Turkey if people continue to go back after such a long period of time. The staff were greate and could not be more helpfull. we were made to feel very welcome by every one, would defo recomend these aparts and we will defo be going back next year to these same aparts, brilliant. The location is very good as well as you are not in the middle of all the loud hussle and bussle of marmarus but only 5 mins away if you want to be. There is a reseraunt called 'Musty's' just round the corner form Toksoy and it is auwsome. The staff are the best, so so friendly and very helpfull. If you are new to Turkey and have never been before ask Atilla for some pointers, he is only too helpfull. Also beside the big supermarket s a resteraunt called Violets, very very cheap and very good foo, again the staff there are also very very friendly and will do anything to help you.

What a holiday! Apo greeted us at the airport and took us to Toksoy where we met all the staff. Very friendly and would do anything for you. Marmaris was about 10 in the bus and was buzzing! Went out every night for a meal and a few drinks, which I must say is a very cheap place. Apo is wonderful as well as his family. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Cleaners were in every day. Hope to go back again very very soon. 10/10 for Toksoy Apart Hotel and the staff, well recommended.

very bad service from the owner apo , we had payed him for return tranfers , on leaving to go to the airport the owner apo left the apartments , then phoned to say that he had booked a taxi ,which was going to cost us an extra £45 ( all ready payed him £60 for tranfer ) 6 rooms had things stolen from them inc ours he DID NOTHING AT ALL TO HELP !!!! would never go back there at all

My friend and I have been to the Toksoy 6 times in the last 18 months. We love it there. The rooms are spotless, well equiped and most rooms have air conditioning. The staff are wonderful, Appol, Kerim, Yous, Erdal are great fun. They cannot do enough for you. If you need anything you only have to ask. If you want a relaxed holiday then this is the place for you. The pool is smaller than most and quite deep. Toksoy is in Armutalan which is 10mins on the dolmus from the centre of Marmaris. The dolmus terminus is literally 3 mins away and they run every 5/10mins. This costs 1.25 turkish lire about 50p. You will find a lot of the guests go year after year, However whether its your first time or 20th everybody is included and treated the same. There is a snack/pool bar and the food is very cheap and of a high standard. I cannot praise the Toksoy Apartments enough its a wonderful friendly place and you will not be disapointed. If you want to book trips or buy jewellry ask Appol to advise you. He will make sure your not ripped off. He can also book trips for a lot cheaper than through the reps.

Hello.
We have been comming to the Toksoy for many years and we've always had a good time here.
The rooms are clean, with the cleaners in every day and we have tried most of the rooms and they are all very good. the pool is small. but great for cooling off, because it can get very hot.
Armutalan is a nice place to stay, (You are right next to the local people) and it is only a short dolmus ride from Marmaris. The dolmus terminus is not far away from the Toksoy and any bus No will get you back to the Toksoy.
Go for walks and you will find out what a beautiful place it is, as the views are really stunning, over the marina and the bay. Marmaris is my favourite place to run and you get loads of encouragement from people that you pass.
The resaurants are excellent, with the food being cooked freshly for you and a bottle of effes beer from 99p and always a complimentary drink or coffee after the meal.
At the Toksoy, Appo and his staff were excellent, with nothing too much trouble for them to help you. We've known Appo for many years and have never seen him assault any one, more like to calm a nasty situation, diplomatically, which was started and esculated by drunken british tourists.
You can leave your room door unlocked, or your belongings by the pool without fear of thieving and any thing that you leave is always returned to you. You will meet the same people year after year and you will make a lot of new friends. If no one speaks to you, it could be that you are not that friendly with others.
So in conclusion, through many years of experience, the Toksoy is a place that you can go without fear of violence, intimidation and the owner and his staff have my complete trust. We can't wait untill next year.
Don't take life too seriously, because no one gets out alive anyway. Howay yhe lads.

the toksoy is a perfect place for a quiet holiday but is also within easy reach of the nightlife.apartments are well kept ,friendly staff and the owner apo cannot do too much to help make your holiday special.
