Princess Kinli

this was our first time in turkey and the princess kinli made the holiday, from the beginning the owners where welcomeing and couldnt help enough, the rooms tho basic are all you need for a relaxing holiday(air-con is available but we didnt need it),i couldnt really comment on the food but other guests said it was top notch, the hotel is in the perfect place to be close enough to all the bars but far enough away so you dont hear much noise, if you want a turkish bath just ask at reception and they make a call and they come pick you up and return you to the hotel afterwards, the pool area isnt very big but is ample for your needs and catches the sun nearly all day plus theres refreshments available at the bar, all in all we couldnt recommend the hotel highly enough, so if your looking for a decent hotel near all the resort has to offer then go ahead and book the princess kinli you will not be disappointed.

we arrived there and they told us we would have to wait because our room wasn't ready. the toilet was leaking. the fridge was leaking and dirty. the bedding was dirty and had holes in and the towels had brown stains on them as if they hadn't been washed and holes in them.the mat in the bathroom was filthy.the electrical sockets were brocken.some of the lights weren't working.the pool was dirty and tiles were missing at the side of the pool where a childs foot could have easily gone down.Not a hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Went to Turkey for the first time, and stayed at Princess Kinli. Rooms were very basic, but fine as we only used them as a base. Staff were very friendly, especially Erol, who was brilliant with the kids and always up for a laugh. He also makes a wicked Ottoman casserole [the best meal we had through the whole 2 weeks]. Will go back again without a doubt. The pool is fab to laze around throughout the day, which wa good as was to hot to do anything else, not that i'm complaining.

This small but very friendly apartments. nothing was to much to ask for. Erol was only to happy to help with anything you wanted to know telling you what was the best time to go to the markets etc.The food that they cook and serve was as good as any we had eaten in marmaris and nothing was to much trouble they cooked what you asked for.This was our first time in Turkey and we will be going back again hopfully to The Princess Kinli. A big thank you to all the staff an extra big thank you to Erol.

its a really gd place eril and sonny are gd guys the apartments are really clean but the best thing was it was right beside the town and i had a brilliant time

Myself and two friends have recently returned from Marmaris, Turkey where we stayed at the Princess Kinli apartments and have an amazing time. The place is very basic but the people more than make up for that. The hotel is clean and has everything you need for day to day living. Close to shops, bars and beach. The view isn't amazing we asked for a sea view but there is no such thing from the Princess Kinli really.
Whilst in Marmaris we met the hotel owner Mesult Kinli and his wife Lisa both are very friendly and very helpful! Couldn't ask for better! Erol works as the chef and by the pool and is always up for a laugh also very helpful can't do enough for you.
We didn't take aircon as we thought it was included in the price, it isn't but is reasonable at 30 lira for the week. Food is very good at the Kinli we ate there most nights. Overall I would definatley recommend the Princess Kinli to anyone going to Turkey who is looking for basic accomodation, friendly people and a great laugh!

First impressions were poor as the "apartment" was very basic and a makeover is much needed. One small wardrobe for the three of us to share which was not ideal especially as these apartments can cater for four.Although we ate out every night it would have been impossible to attempt to cook a meal as no proper cooking facilites ie. only two hotplates that were plugged into the electric supply. Also there was a shortage of dishes and if we wanted a cereal there was only one bowl so we would have had to eat one at a time. When having a shower the curtain was short and the water sprayed over the floor. The toilet was also soaked as this was also behind the curtain. Remember to take your own toilet rolls with you as only one is supplied. In the living area no t.v. is provided. Our apartment was on the ground floor at the back and our view was of the washing and also a clinic where you could see on a daily basis patients attached to drips.
The apartments are cleaned daily and bedding and towels are changed every two/three days. However, they need to invest in new sheets as they are discoloured and have stains on them. On several occasions towels had holes in them and a couple had stains the colour of tomato sauce.
The safety deposit boxes are located at the reception for a cost of £10 per week. The sytem is you need two keys to open it; you keep one and one is kept at the reception. I found this a hassle as there wasn't always someone at reception. The brochure stated the air con was a local charge, however this was expensive at £30 per week and if you have a ground floor room like ours and don't take air con you are the mozzies source of food for your stay. If you have late night flights and need to keep your room on this is a charge of £20 and you can keep it until 11pm. The room is cleaned for the next guests while the room is still yours and of course you need a shower after it's been cleaned. Does this get cleaned again ?
These apartments are in a good location only a 10min walk to the beach where there are lots of nice restaurants and good bars but far enough away to get sleep. The pool area was good and we always had no problem getting sunbeds and Erol is very helpful. We enjoyed the turkish night at the apartments however take plenty of money with you as you have to pay for the entertainment (bellydancer and break dancers).
Overall, Marmaris is a good place for a holiday. We went on the lazy day on the King Sezar boat which was great value for money. There are lots of different trips and the market on a Thursday is good.

Just back from 2 weeks in the Princess Kinli and happy to report that we had no major issues with the place. The PK is basic - inside and out so don't expect luxury fitments or a tv but it is what it is and the place is clean.
Lisa is an ex rep who landed out in Marmaris and she helped out when the rep we had proved less than useless (on more than one occassion) without her our visist would have been far less enjoyable so a big thanks for that.
I'd happliy recommend the Princess Kinli to anyone staying in Marmaris.

Princess Kinli was not our first choice of apartments but after a major [--] up by Thomas Cook we were move here.
It turned out to be the best holiday i have had in a very long time.
On first view the apartments are basic but clean. If your looking for somewhere to sleep n shower this is the perfect place to stop. Its located aprox 700 meters from the beach & is a nice walk taking just under 10 mins.
Ettie who runs the apartments & Erol who does the bar and food are two of the nicest people you can meet. They will make your stay both welcome & fun. Erol has alot of energy & can alwas make you laugh. Overall they made our stay one of the best, and i would gladly return for another fun filled holiday.

just got back from princess kinli in marmaris. brilliant place short walk to beach and local shops restaurants. small friendly apartments hattie ian errol excellent nothing is too much trouble for them they cant do enuf to make you welcome and feel like you are part of the family. will be going back next year best holiday, location great, staff brilliant
