Myself and my friend have just come back from Marmaris where we stayed at the Irmak hotel. the rooms were always kept very clean and the bedding and towels changed everyday, the staff were all very very pleasant and helpful at all times , but i am afraid the food on offer... more

This hotel is situated quite nice, near centre and boulevard, but it's still far enough to have a quiet environment. The rooms were clean and quite big. Nice balcony, overlooking swimming pool. Nice basic breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel with my 2 children in July/Aug 2007. First time away with them as a single parent, so I was a bit worried as never been to Turkey before but it didn't matter because it was fantastic. After a delay at airport going, we were greated warmly and offered breakfast (even though it had finished) and from then on in everything about the hotel was brilliant. Me and my partner booked a last minute holiday, and after reading a few reviews about the Irmak we decided to book our stay there. The price was so cheap i could not believe it. When we got there, we were certainly not disappointed, and although basic, the rooms were absolutely spotless, and very comfy and cosy. I went to Turkey for my 4th time with my mother. This time we stayed at Hotel Irmak, the best Hotel you will ever find! Everybody there was so helpfull and never made you feel unwelcome. One of the waitress' english named Alex was delightfull!! He taught me the basics of turkish and checky enought to try and set me up, allthough it was quite funny! we went to turlkey as a family of 8 and it was our first time there, hotel irmak was excellent for our young kids and teenagers they couldnt get lost and could be seen at all times the staff were friendly and always willing to help especaily fahri and yassin the rooma were cleaned daily and the maids always polite and curtious it was a pleasurable stay and i definately reccoment the irmak hotel and will definately be returning there

this was are first time in turkey, we went as a party of ten, and all loved it. the staff at irmak are really friendly and helpful. the food is great. the rooms are ok but you only sleep and wash in them so they dont have to be 5 star. i liked it so much i really want to go back next year, its irmak or no where for me!!! so if you want a good time go to irmak!!

Spent two wonderful weeks at the Irmak hotel, All the staff (But especially Jem) are brilliant, warm, friendly, and willing to do anything for you. The pool is clean as is the pool area, The rooms are the best we have stayed in in Turkey. They are clean, cosy, and comfortable. There is so much to do would reccomend to anyone - just remember to treat the staff as you would like to be treated they are too nice to be abused. Marmaris is a great place to stay with loads to do, and the Irmak is central to everything.

it's the first time we have stayed at this hotel. We went self catering, the place was spotless, we had a one bedroomed apartment, the view wasn't great but it was quiet away from the pool which I advise as the pool gets the sun all day and the temperatures when we were there(JULY 04) were getting into the high 50's. Hotel Irmak is one of the best places to stay in Marmaris. It is close to the beach, the main road and to the downtown. Staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel has been there for 17 years and the owner is really experienced so they provide you the best as much as they can. The rooms are clean and the food is excellent. They have BBQs and Sunday dinners, so you have access to a variety choices of meal. All in all, Hotel Irmak is a great location for a fantastic holiday!
