Spent a week at the Epic from June 16th and had a great time. This is a three star hotel, and by Turkish three star standards it is very good. We have stayed in many hotels in different resorts in Turkey and this by far was the best. It is clean and bright. The food was fine, salads, meats, breads, cereals, and chef on had to cook an excellent omelette if you wished!! Evening meals were excellent, but if you wanted a stake then you had to go else where. I would recommend this hotel and the friendly and very helpful staff, and will be happy to return again!!!

Just returned from a weeks holiday at 'The Epic' - it was great! The rooms are spacious, clean and newly decorated. The food was fine - slightly repetitive but my 15yr old picky son found enough variety and was happy! Typical breakfast was slection of cheeses, cold sliced meats, boiled eggs, tomatoes, beans, potatoes and various sausages - loads of cereals, spreads and freshly baked breads also. Evening meal - different soup every day, spaghetti, pasta sauce, chips, fish, meatballs (flat!) or chicken etc, more breads, fresh fruits and a varied assortment of gateaux (very strangly decorated but tasted fine!)
The pool is very clean, large and with a great waterslide. Theres also a smaller pool for young children and a play area as well. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols and even with people putting towels on there were still loads to choose from (also some on higher area above waterslide which was never full)
Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help - Katie and Selib (husband and wife) do fantastic poolside entertainment and evening enertainment at 'Chindia' - located at front of hotel. 'Elvis' (oh yeah baby!) is a real character who once seen will never be forgotten!
Access to beach is easy - catch number 2 bus from outside hotel which is priced at 1.50TL each way and they run every few minutes. The bus stops right outside 'Tansus' which is a large supermarket which is worth visiting to buy water, fruit, bread etc to take to the beach
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would be happy to stay at The Epic again.

Been going to epic since 2008 and would never go anywhere else. the staff can't do anymore for you, very friendly and make you feel welcome rom the moment you get there to the moment you leave. The food is absolutely gorgeous, had a friend that stayed at another hotel and said the epic had the best food in marmaris!Good fun round the pool, lots of games everyday, including bingo. Prices very reasonable and in a very good area. Booked up to go this year, Can't wait!

I recently stayed at the Epic Hotel in marmaris for a week with some friends and it was lovely. It's the first time ive been to the epic hotel and also marmaris and it was better than most 4 and 5 star hotels i have previously stayed in.
The staff were lovely and always made you feel welcome as well as being very polite. The recently refurbished hotel was amazing and finished to a very high standard and exceeded my expectations after seeing the pictures on the facebook page.
The food was excellent, as well as the entertainement, the staff once again, the room was lovely and clean etc.
Overall - I wish all hotels were like this one! Good all round! :)

just got back from the epic hotel, the hotel was lovely they have had a revamp towels even still had stckers on them where they were brand new!!! changes were going on whilst we had a 10 day stay there. new pictures new reception furniture ect. staff were very friendly ''elvis'' was hilarious! this is there 1st year of doing half board! breakfast consisted of cheese turkish rolls, omlettes, fried eggs, hard boiled eggs, toast jams, nutella! ceareals, cheese on toast.......sure there was more orange, blackcurrant and lemon and lime squash. dinner was varied most nights, chips, pizza, chicken nuggets, cottage pie, grilled fish, chicken, cheese bread, spaggetti bol, lasagne, saute beef, chinese chicken as you can see very varied, deserts were a bit weird but always had plenty of fresh fruit so was always happy with that. towels changed daily, linen changed every 2 days, mini bar in room. food around pool was very well priced. if you want a trip dont book with rep book with batman opposite and say stevie recommended you and they will look after you recommend the lazy days boat trip cost 25.00 for my whole family me,wife,15yr,8yr, 1yr old. garanteed the perfect tan 3 stops for swimming, and sightseeing of marmaris bay! atlantis water park down on the front is the better water park of the 3. dalyan delight is good includes mud bath. talk of the town is good. jeep safari highly recommended but for age 3 and above as gets a bit bumpy...holiday overall was very enjoyable we went may 23rd til june 3rd weather was good for 1st 2 days then had thunder storms for 5 days then last 2 days was very very hot! so the weather was the only let down. have been to turkey 10 times now and the epic is the best hotel so far, next best was club julien, then green park, then sun apartments if you like space this the biggest. steve, tanya and kids

My family and I have just returned from a two week break in Marmaris where we stayed at the Epic Hotel. We arrived very late and met only one member of staff on duty. The overall look and ambience of the hotel was fine, as they say you get what you pay for. However what we did not expect was continues unpleasant banter, jesters and jeers from the staff who went out of their way to be rude and very distasteful to us over the two weeks.
Our rooms were small, but manageable for the period of time we planned to stay until I moved one of the beds. I found that the paint stripping off the walls, dirty brown water marks running around the room and an ant’s nest in the corner. The on the wall TV looked as if it had not been clean for months.
Also our rooms were not cleaned regularly in seven days our room was cleaned once (they changed the bed and mopped the floor only, what about the bath room). After complaining I realised I was wasting my breath, so I decided to buy the cleaning materials myself and clean the rooms myself. When they eventually change the bedding we found that it was stained with blood.
Sorry but I am not impressed with the arrogant attitude of the hotel staff and the overall standards of hygiene within this hotel and I would not recommend this it as a good or friendly place to stay. After all part of the holiday experience come form your hosts.

Having booked this holiday very last minute and then looking at the reviews on the internet i was really worried what i was going to. However it turned out to be ok. The room was spacious and clean (and im one fussy person when it comes to cleaninless). The hotel is situated in an ideal spot with loads of places to eat and drink and found everyone to be really friendly who couldnt do enough for you and we met some really nice people. If you like walking, the harbour with all the shops, bars etc is only about a 45 minute walk (which we did most days) or two mins on a Dolbus (however you spell it). I loved this part of Marmaris and would go again and would honestly stay in the hotel again, my only complaint was yes, we didnt get clean towels but was not the end of the world. Oh we didnt eat at the hotel, after reading the reviews and speaking to people round the pool, but there's probabaly getting on for about 20 restaurants a stones throw away.

I booked a quick 5 day stay HB at the Epic Hotel with my eleven year old daughter.
I was a bit worried having booked it very last minute, not having done much research beforehand but WOW! Did I pick well.
This hotel is fabulous! Everything was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and helpful and "Elvis" was a hoot both around the pool during the day and at night.
Katie and her husband who ran the entertainment were just great and everyone made you feel very welcome.
Good choice of food at Breakfast and Dinner in the main restaurant (buffet) and the poolside restaurant for lunch was great and very competitively priced. It was also very well priced for drinks.
If I had any comment to make at all on a downside it would be that there wasn't even juice on offer at dinner time and all drinks had to be purchased. Where at breakfast you could at least have a tea/coffee or some juice with your meal, but it didnt in any way spoil anything!
I would book and go back again!
Hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
Great location although a mile away from the beach, plenty to do all round the hotel and surrounding area.
Try Mad Boys and The Seven Brothers just across the road!
Also a great little excursion shop across the road and they were extremely helpful and not overly priced at all for what you got!
