Reviews of Long Beach Apartments, Marmaris

i travelled to long beach on 15th sep 08. On entering the room it was so dark we could hardly see and had such a small amount of light getting in so we asked for another room. we finally got a ok room which was clean enough and a good size for a 1bed apt.
On our first night getting ready to go out this is when the problems began!! i had a
shower and when my friend went to to have a shower after me the drain was blocked and the water was all over the bathroom floor. When we tried to turn the water on in the bathroom sink there was no water coming out of the taps!! Lucky for us we had friends staying in another room so she had to go and get showered in their room!! Nitemare!!

The next morning i went to have a shower as the water had now all drained away and agian no water coming out of taps!! i went down to reception to be told the manager had a problem with paying water bill and it would be sorted in an hour or so!! Not what i wanted to hear in that heat and with a bad hangover!!

The apartments also have a restaurant which we ate in a few times and it was ok. The location of the apartments is so good to be honest this is why we picked them. We had been to Marmaris loads b4 but wanted somewhere really central.
However i really dont think i would return to these apartments again as also i thought the staff were a bit creepy too!

what can i say. spent 2 weeks here, myself the wife and our 18 month old son. first night, we were put in a room above the disco in the pub, so no sleep for anyone. got moved to another room, we were burgled whilst asleep in the room, thief used a key. 2 mobile phones and approx £ 200 cash !!! member of staff ???? then the maid stole our washing, threw mine and the wifes clothes in the bin and kept the baby clothes for herself. fortunately the owner of the hotel was there at the time of the maids theft and payed us for the missing items. rooms very basic and not the cleanest, food in the restraunt excellent as were the restraunt staff, appartment staff, well, you make your own mind up

was visiting here as im bobby fiance , who works in resturant ,staff friendly make u feel welcome brilliant turkish night ,food is excellent, good dancers , was their for a month ,and during year .i love u bobby xxxx

I have just got back from long beach and i have to say this was the best holiday i have ever had, the hotel was basic and the staff in the hotel were ok didnt really feel that i was welcomed, rooms were basic which i didnt mind as i was only sleeping there, showers were cold but again i didnt mind as the weather is very hot i welcomed a cold shower, what made the holiday for me was the staff in the restaurant and poolside, they were incredible friendly and were so loving, little bastard and bobby were our favourite waiters and because of them i am booking another holiday there next year, i cant wait to get back.

reading the reviews i wasnt looking forward 2 this place tbh but as soon as we got there i quickly changed my mind. rooms are pretty basic yeah but u only need them for sleeping n showering in so it doesnt really matter. the staff are absolute legends lil bastard, alex, romeo, totti, bobby, rodney, oscar made are stay 1000 times better, would do anything to make u happy. had entertainment every night in the bar from actual shows to the bar staff dancing. got back on friday an missin it already hoping to go back again next year.

Fab, Fab, Fab.. Oh my god this hotel is amazing. Made very welcome by all the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. Especially little basterd and alex lol. Definatly heading back to that hotel next month :D. Thanx for a fab holiday x

We got to longbeach and thought this is going to be the worst holiday of our lives but it wasn't

The rooms were clean and tidy and the maids cleaned the rooms everyday giving us clean,fresh towels

went back in 2008 didnt stay there but when we went back we were very welcomed again

going back in 2009 it is that good miss everyone

Last min booking, fantstic, fantstic, fantstic,,made very welcome by all staff (apart from thomas cook rep: Kyle , he was a plonker & not helpful) room was very clean the maid was friendly..Yusuf the chef was more than friendly!!! as well as a very good cook, all staff Bobby,totti,rondney 'f ***o** little B, cheeky little B (Alex), peter,david and rest of boys made our holiday, and we have laughed from start to finish with them..Nothing was too much trouble for them, every one is right about Ozzy the photographer being snap happy and he loved himself too, but was also a good laugh,obo the receptionist was grate we lernt him to play cards..David is a fantastic kid will do any thing for you , all lads are good with kids got time and patience for them as well as they elderly (taking my mum 76 next time)16 of us going back.Got home Tuesday and re booked for 09 on Wedensday..

Go for the Turkish bath.......

hi, when i went to long beach they told us were to go and how to get there. when we arrived at the appartment the key was bent so we couldnt get in then we had to move to another apparment the veiwing was nice. we went out for the frist day and went for a walk. the second,third, fourth eg we stayed in long beach thought out the time. i didnt like it 1 bit there was a cockraoch next to me when i was eating also there was a waiter called rambo who liked me little daughter who was 14 years of age he was sayin come to my room.Ididnt like the maids 1 bit we left the maid to clean up the bedroom when she had fineshed the room she scarted out quite quickly we were woundering what had gone on the next day when we were gettin ready to go on a boat ride we found the £100 went missing. then my to oldest boys who had there own roon said that they walkedin the apartment and seen to maids drink there alchol. there was some good things about longbeach like staff and the people behind the bar were very friendly and were entertaining. all yours laura

stayed in long beach appartments for 2 weeks in my opinion it was the worst appartments i have stayed in, room was very dirty the maids was practically non exsistant, hardly no cutlery/pans ect for the self catering facilities, bathroom was a health risk as we had cockroaches coming through a hole in the bathroom, had to cover hole with tissue paper, and shower door was hanging on by a thread, complained to staff about cockroaches all they did was come up an pick them up and laugh at us, in my opinion look around at other hotels.

Hi, I have just got back from Longbeach Apartments, very clean, food was lovely and swimming pool was very nice. All staff were very friendly, although I was quite offended when one of the waiters asked my 15 year old daughter to go back to his room, then called her a snob and stuck-up for not going with him, apart from that every thing was good.



I was a little disappointed when we were put in a room with a view of a tree hanging over our balcony. I did enjoy this holiday and will be going back to Marmaris, but will be staying in a different hotel and as for people giving it a 1/10 that's wrong. I hope that who ever goes to this apartment has a lovely time which I'm sure you will. Thanks

After reading the reviews on here I was very apprehensive about going. When we arrived we were given rooms which had very nice poolside views, rooms were spacious but not very clean, stained mattresses and holes in walls where electric points were.



Around the pool is very slippery but ok if you wear shoes all the time. Sorry but I didn't find the maids very friendly at all. My sheets wasn't changed so after 1 week I took them off myself and threw by the door, when I got back in clean sheets were just put on bed but not even made up. I go on hols and hope for a clean bed and a warm shower and I'm happy.. showers were freezing and plz don't expect a clean towel after lol.



Over in the bar and restaurant the staff were brilliant and very welcoming, the food here is also very nice, our hols were made with the guys here, totti, 2 pac, del boy, little peach and romeo, they're fab guys. Staff at reception are not to nice, so if you want a leaky shower, dripping taps, slippery poolside and arrogant maids this is the place to be. Overall in a really good location.

What a great holiday it was, I wish I was there now the food is great and the people are very friendly. How can you just rate this at a 3 star it could easily be a 5 star **.



Can’t see how people don’t rate this, its just the best holiday going, if any of you out there are looking for a 5 star hotel this apartment is the place to go.



This apartment is up to a very good standard. I even had my own birthday out there and they celebrated it with me thank you for the cake.

I loved this place! I stayed her for 2 weeks with 7 other family members. All the staff in general are so friendly it’s untrue. Even the maids have great respect for you!



The pool was extremely clean; the restaurant giving gorgeous food, the entertainment was excellent! Everything about the apartments made me enjoy my holiday even more.
