Comments:  brilliant holiday!!! Please dont be put off by the rooms looking a bit basic when you arrive. They have everything you need in them. All staff are very friendly & fun & the animation team are excellent. Do take advantage of all the restaurants. We were given booking slips for these which you must take advantage of, as they are genuinely authentic. We visited Moroccan, Chinese, Japanese, Steakhouse & fish restaurants & couldn't fault them, but be there on time as you are expected to be seated by 7.15. The main restaurant was spacious & had a large selection of food too + help yourself wine! AI option was great-you didnt have to wait long for drinks & though they seemed weaker than normal, a very good selection. Dont miss the cocktail bat in Carribean Village-we only found it on the second to last night. Tips are expected so take pound coins with you & you do get remembered & receive superior service when you do tip! Go to the sukh approx 20 mins walk away for gifts. On the second day we were there there was a market & everything is far more expensive, though they are very friendly (& VERY pushy). It also has its own beach which is good. I would definately recommend going there & we are very tempted to return. Everybody "hasta la vista senora, hasta la vista senor...."!!!!!!!!

Comments:  It was absolutey brilliant, the staff were amazing and the animation team (entertainers) were great they kept me going. The rest of my family were lazy which is what they wanted, and joined in with all the activities and sports they had going. And the shows at night weren't too bad either. It was perfectly safe to go about on my own.

It was a brilliant holiday myself husband and my 5 year old son had a week in this carribean village
It was exelent. Morocco it self was nothing to look at but there was so much to do in the village that a week was not enough, there were activities on all the time, the staff were nice and polite and helpfull.
The choice of restaurants in the evening were really good all were very nice. No complaints
At the beech we went jet skiing and that was good value for money
Overall a execlent holiday and would go again
I was tipping the staff all the time but i would recomend tip at end of holiday

Comments:  We had one of the best holidays ever!

This resort offers so many choices of activities and entertainment and the animation team are fantastic and work so so hard! The trips out are so worth going on as you really get a feel for this amazing country through the eyes of locals.

The rooms are lovely, basic but brightly decorated and recently refurbished, and the maid service was excellent, with no begging for tips as some have mentioned.

As mentioned before, you do need to get down at 6am for a sunbed but once towels are placed down you can safely return back to bed in the knowledge your beds will still be saved so it doesn't ruin it at all.

The food was of a good standard, always fresh and local produce and a huge selection, with changes daily. I'm quite fussy and also vegetarian but there was plenty of choice and it was lovely-the only downside to the food was that it wasn't very well labelled so if vegetarian ask what’s what so you don't get any surprises!

Also as mentioned previously, it is well worth queuing in the morning to book at the a la carte restaurants-there's a choice of about 5 I think and they were absolutely gorgeous!

I'd wholly and truthfully recommend this resort to anyone-especially families as it offers the perfect package holiday!

Comments:  I was apprehensive before I came here but thought the bad reviews were just people being over picky. All I wanted was a week of sunshine laying by a pool, so as my needs were basic decided to go ahead. I have never before looked forward to going home. In fact a cheer went up on the coach when we eventually got out of there.

My apartment was lovely but a very steep climb... 54 steps up... Yes I counted! No lift so we only went up to the room went absolutely necessary. Everyone I was speaking to had upset stomachs this is possibly due to the poor food hygiene. I ended up spending 60 pounds in the well placed pharmacy across the road!

Sunbeds had to be saved by 6am and then you were too late! We never spent a day by the main pool as god knows what time you would have had to get up to get one there! The private beach is a laughable strip of sand on a hill so that was crap. Oh and apparently the sun in Agadir is not guaranteed till about October so don’t bother going in August if you like your sunshine! Every day was overcast.

The place is unsafe for kids and unsteady adults. I saw so many people with gashed knees and chins. In the main swimming pool one girl fell through a grate that was not there. Which is marvellous when it’s the tots section.

It just seemed to be one thing after another there. Stupid things that end up being outrageously annoying like the man from the shop who nicks balls from bottoms of sunbeds and prams etc to resell them. It not funny after the 3rd time. And when confronted he will give you it back! The shop people offering you 2 prostitute yourself for some extra money. Saw the reception staff brawling with a French fella over a comment that was made about the French guy’s attractive mother!

This place is best suited for teenager’s first piss up holiday away from mum. I’m 30 with my partner of the same age and a teenage son. We hated it and I'm very much a laid back person who just gets on with things, as I said after a week I was so happy to get the hell out of there. It was disorganised and they were not interested in repeat business as you will discover on check out!

A good thing though was the fella outside the entrance with the quad bikes. The camel rides with them were fantastic and well good value for money. If you can change your holiday booking I would strongly suggest you do. This is not a relaxing holiday you will just be putting yourself up for stress and illness. I so feel like my one holiday for the year has been wasted and I wish that I had gone elsewhere. Please don’t think that I am one of them people who like to moan. I am well travelled and have been to Thailand, Fiji, New York and all over Europe which I have loved. I really don’t know why First Choice are still sending people there!

The rep was useless... plane delayed and she disappeared into her room. Someone asked reception to call her so we could find out what was going on and was told that if we gave money then they would call the rep... Three phone calls later to England she came out of her room. They also made sure all wrist bands were handed in before telling us of flight delay so no one could have any drinks or food which is pretty bad customer service but seeing as our flight was delayed on the way out it really would not have hurt them.

If you decide to go I would suggest taking with you anti sickness pills Imodium and ear drops. Pick up some ear plugs as well because ear infections were rife through the swimming pool and the medication works out very expensive over there. The only people worth tipping is the fella who takes the cases up to the room and the maid. Although I did hear about one family who was harassed daily for money by their maid. Maybe they just have not worked out how us brits work. We pay for good service not in expectation of good service which is something they just don’t get.

The a la carte restaurants are good though well worth the hour queue to get them booked in but if you leave the days and times blank on the slips and book them all at the same time you will only have to do that the once! All in all a terrible place and I didn’t even have a suntan to show for it! Good luck x

Comments:  Brill Holiday!

It was the best I have ever had. The people and staff were very friendly. And it was so much to do.

The resort that I stayed with my husband and child of five years very large with four pools and lots of eating restaurants. there is a lot of work outside the resort but there is so much to do in the village you don’t need to go outside.

The beach was fine as they had a private one , we done water sports that we haggled them down to a good price. The entertainment staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend the Caribbean village Agador.

Comments:  Hotel: The grounds were lovely, rooms were basic, but clean at least ours was, we heard a lot of people complaining about theirs.

Food: Disgusting, the same every day, we all had bad stomachs.

Staff: The restaurant staff were lovely as was the animation team, they worked very hard, the bar staff were arrogant, very rude, unless you were French. You are only allowed 2 drinks at any one time never before have we been to an all inclusive where the drinks are on optics then drowned with coke.

Sun beds: Be prepared to get up early if you want one then watch out that the French don't pinch it.

Our advice: Don't go there.

Comments:  Rooms - damp, dirty, and shabby even though they have been recently refurbished.

Food - lukewarm to raw and repetitive.

Pools - only surface cleaned, bottom of pools filthy.

Sunbeds - 5am dash to secure sunbed, most beds are broken (legs missing) and the mattresses dirty.

Beach - hotel beach is cramped and you are hassled by the locals selling their goods.

Our two week family holiday was also ruined by all of us contracting the mystery diarrhoea and vomiting sickness which is rife amounts most of the British guests at this hotel.

GOOD POINTS:
Staff are wonderful and the country is lovely. I will return to the country in the near future but not to this hotel avoid it like the plague.

Comments:  Me and my partner wanted to try something different other than going to the usual Spain. Anyway we arrived in Agadir the weather is always beautiful. We arrived at the hotel and it was very nice from the outside.

Rooms were basic but nice and clean. The only problem we faced was that the food in the resort was very basic and catered very much for the other European countries. I did not see any Moroccan food while I was there.

I was diagnosed with stomach upset for the 14 days. I had no evidence but I felt that the food had contributed to me having a really bad stomach. I am still at home and seeking medical advice as I have not been the same.

Staff at the hotel work very hard to please though sometimes it felt like an 18 to 30s holiday at times. I didn’t feel relaxed sometimes.

Agadir was a very interesting place and the Moroccan people are lovely. Try a go at the haggling. Beech was very dirty and reminded me of Weston Super Mare. Go for yourself and see. I won’t be going back there again.

Comments:  We stayed at this resort on fully inclusive basis. The rooms are basic but clean, the cleaners work very hard. We found it difficult to get a space by the pool regardless of tips.

The food was bland and we found it difficult at times to book at the a la carte restaurants, you would have to wait in the queue to get a booking.

The children enjoyed the organised events, and there was things to do there for teenagers.

We did plenty of excursions, because it would have been claustrophobic to have stayed round the crowded pool for two weeks. However this is expensive and you need to add the costs of tipping everyone into the overall cost.

Not much in the resort to do in the evening, and you do get asked to go into shops all the time.

Definitely worth going on a Berber night! And the catamaran day.

Wouldn’t return to this hotel as felt it was too crowded.

Comments:  This place is a really good holiday resort. The food is good and the pools are refreshing.

The animation team are good and are funny! The service form the waiters and the bar people are fantastic. I am going to visit there again later. The entertainment is good.

The beach is a nice short walk from the hotel and it depends on what day it is the sea is warm. The view from the balcony is good!! (Its breath taking) the beds are comfy!

There are plenty of activities to do etc. ping pong, football, tennis, mini golf, volley ball, darts and loads more!

Best holiday ever!

Comments:  We have just returned from a two week holiday in Caribbean Village and we all totally loved it.

The waiters, bar staff and animation team work very hard to keep you happy and cannot do enough for you.

We did read the reports before we went and was a bit apprehensive but believe me there is no problems with the complex.

The food was good with enough choice my granddaughter and I are fussy eaters and there was always something we could eat and we never went hungry.

The bars serve what you want and good measures as I found out a few nights, the staff are great especially the pool side bar staff. The nicest being ardenjour.

The waiter we had was fantastic from day one his name was Hassan he wears glasses he will do everything for you, as soon as he sees you walk in the restaurant he shows you to a table fetches your drinks etc, great .

The rooms are basic but we always had clean rooms, towels etc also always hot water the maids work very hard.

The animation team are brilliant always having fun talking to you ,wanting you to join in games but not nasty if you don’t. The best ones for us was mimo, ishmail, saed, but they was all good.

We took my granddaughter with us and she loved the kids club we did check it out and there was no need to worry they are great infact they all love kids my granddaughter was kissed and cuddled twenty times a day, she cried when we came home.

We will go back again as we really enjoyed the holiday.

Just one word of warning the quad bike people at the entrance of the back of the hotel going to the beach, don’t book with them. There was 9 of us and we paid over £100 they turned up late and kept stopping on the quads we got promised loads and it was naff.
